Meadowfoam oil is very stable, extending the shelf life of other ingredients and making perfumes last longer. Its effects are comparable to jojoba oil: readily absorbed and richly hydrating.
Meadowfoam plants are mainly found on the Pacific coast of North America. These low herbaceous bushes don't need a lot of water to grow and produce many beautiful white and-yellow flowers, creating creamy colored flower carpets in the summer. The oil is pressed from the seeds.
