Carrot Powder

Beautifully brightening

Carrot powder is made from drying fresh carrots and grinding them into a fine powder for easier transport and longevity. This fine powder then plumps up beautifully when introduced to water, adding brightness to the skin.

Carrots are biennal plants of the Apiaceae family. The purple variety was discovered in Afghanistan as early as the seventh century, and introduced to Europe around 1100. It wasn’t until the 16th century that orange carrots were cultivated in the Netherlands (as a tribute to the color of their royal family).
