Best thing for damaged hair

Troy, AL | 7 months ago

Man this shampoo has been my saving grace with how much I have dyed my hair. I've killed it and brutalized it in death. But ever since I've used Rehab, and I've used it for years now, it's so healthy and grows faster than ever, even though I do continue to color it. Every time I don't use rehab, because I run out and can't afford it, my hair gets messed up again. So this stuff is the real deal.

Transformed my hair

I was amazed at how my scalp itching reduced at least the first two times. It did recur but everytime I used the product it stopped. I have psoriasis and receiving phototherapy which irritates my scalp. Time will tell if this is the last brand of shampoo I'll every buy.

Instant scalp itch RELIEF!

Billings, Montana | 11 months ago

I have been a sufferer of intense scalp itch for the past 3 years as I have gotten older and experience very dry & cold winters and very dry & hot summers. I could not take the ritual evening itch sessions any longer and looked for remedies to free my hands, nails and scalp of my torture. I found Rehab and read the description and so many reviews and even viewed numerous youtube reviews. Since living in Montana I have to be very sure I will like a product and research it like I am a CIA agent because I cannot drop in to my local LUSH store to purchase a sample size since every LUSH "near" me are states or a border crossing away. Even with the intense research and self debating I take a gamble with every new product purchase. I bought the 3.3 oz one and I am sad I did not purchase a bigger one because I absolutely love it. Since I know my hair very well I new I would have to use this product with a deep conditioner. I also used this after I used the Superbalm hair/scalp treatment and I left that in for way longer than the recommended 20 minutes. I shampooed with Rehab and as I rinsed I felt that my hair was the most squeaky clean it has every felt wet so I deep conditioned and covered it with a shower cap. I had no problems of my hair or scalp feeling dried out or that the shampoo was too abrasive and the insane ritual evening scalp itching sessions are gone. During my in between hair days I use the Avocado Co-Wash with a quarter sized amount of conditioner.

Softest Hair Using the Hardest Water

CA | 1 year ago

The water is extremely hard here and as a result my natural, tightly coiled hair has become brittle and very dry. I bought this product about a month ago and saw instant results. I use it after swimming and experience minimal shedding and tangles, which makes it easier to comb through my hair after washing it with this product. My hair also doesn't require nearly as much moisturizing as it once did.

Disappointed

I am a huge lush fan and a regular customer too. However, I must say that this particular product was a huge disappointment. I always go to the store and consult before buying anything because the products are pricy and I do not want to take any chances. I had mentioned that I have dry scalp and dry hair before purchasing the product, however I was recommended this shampoo and while having full trust due to past records, I bought the biggest bottle available. The first time I shampooed my hair, I saw dandruffs in my scalp. And while washing the shampoo off, my hair would break as I try to take my fingers in between the hair strands, it was so hard on my hair.

Should have tried this long ago

After living at the beach with very salty water in even the shower for nearly a year, my scalp psoriasis was the worst it had ever been. I've been a Lushie for more than 15 years and have used Daddy O for quite a while, but I had never tried Rehab and didn't even really know about it. After a mega hair chop (because I was so fed up), Rehab has been exactly what my poor sensitive scalp and hair need. THANK YOU for this shampoo! Paired with Retread conditioner--new hair!

So fresh so clean!

I use a small amount of this w/ my color protecting shampoo that doesn't always make my fine/thin hair feel squeaky clean. This does the trick!! Fan for life.

Too many downsides for me

This stuff left crazy knots in my hair (even after brushing and combing before washing and using a reliable conditioner). I spent way too much time after my shower trying to get them out. It also left my hair feeling really dry and a little frizzy. I did like the cooling sensation on my scalp while in the shower. And I did enjoy the smell. I'm glad I tried it, but I won't be buying it again. The next Lush shampoo I'll be giving a go is Cynthia Sylvia Stout. I hope that works better on my hair.

Made curly hair frizzier than before, drying

Philadelphia, PA | 1 year ago

This was sold to me as an alternative to Lush's Cynthia Sylvia Stout, which I was a loyal user of for years. I was assured this was good for curly hair. Maybe that's true for some curly hair, but I'm shocked at how much frizzier and dry my hair is now than before. It definitely adds shine but that's too easy for me to overlook when it's fluffing out so much for no apparent reason, it looks like I didn't even attempt to brush it a few hours into my day. Was even more disappointed with this purchase when I found out that Cynthia Sylvia Stout was not discontinued as I was told, but available online. Will be repurchasing that and giving this to a friend, would return Rehab but I think I used too much at this point trying in vain to make it work for my hair.. Very disappointed with this purchase.

IDK

I read reviews about this before purchasing and everyone said they loved it, so I went ahead and bought it. This was my first time buying a lush shampoo was I was pretty excited. I have medium length and medium thickness to my hair, its usually straight but wavy sometimes and not many problems other than damage, but when I tried the shampoo out in the shower my hair felt so dry and weighed down! maybe I'm using it incorrectly but I don't leave it in for long so I don't know, I really wanted to love this :/
