How to Use
1. Place your treatment in a heatproof container and boil some water in a kettle.
2. Slowly add several ounces of boiling-hot water to the solid treatment and stir gently using the wooden stick. Take your time, adding water as needed, and allowing the product to thicken until you're left with an empty stick and a rich, creamy treatment. This should take around five minutes.
3. When it's cool enough to touch, apply to dry hair and leave for around 20 minutes to allow the ingredients to get to work replenishing your hair. Shampoo out and admire your luscious locks!

Is this a joke?
Followed the video to a T and ended up having to wash out the gum consistency with hot water.
Between this, and the sulfates found in your other hair products I'm taking my money elsewhere.
I would buy again, smells nice!

Was a bit sticky and due to reviews I watered down a lot to have the same consistency as one of lush's hair masks. As my container I used some old lush pots ( which not as good as glass but worked great! And disposable if needed) when I did this it took two large pots! So much! I used about a third of the pot. It washed out fine but I don't usually use shampoo and I did this time just to make sure I got it out. It didn't take too long. My hair is soft and smells so nice! So cinnamony. It does weigh it down a bit but definitely would used again. Not a miracle worker for soft but definitely feels clean and bit softer.

Omg I had to wash my hair 5 times before I got all that "treatment" I usually love lush! They just lost a loyal customer because one of the staff told me that it's getting discontinued they would have removed it from stores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great Product, MUST DILUTE A LOT FOR BEST RESULTS

First off, there are a lot of negative reviews referring to the gloopy texture, the mess that it makes, and how hard it is to wash out. To be honest, if you follow the instructions really well and go for a "creamy rich texture", that is what you are going to get. I dilute it waaaay down, so it is about the consistency of good pancake batter or honey while it is still warm. Make sure to apply while still warm, but NOT HOT! I get about a tablespoon into my hands at a time, rub it between my hands, and then massage it into my scalp gradually. The oil should just barely be coating your hair, not sticking in big globs. It takes me about 10 minutes to massage it in, but it WORKS! And, best thing is, no mess, it is easy to wash out, and my hair looks great afterwards!! The key is to DILUTE TO PANCAKE BATTER CONSISTENCY and MASSAGE IN GRADUALLY. Good luck, y'all!

Do Not Get It.

Hi, I bought the "get to the roots" hair treatment last week. I used the product 3 days ago and it was the worst experience ever it was like I was putting glue in my hair it also toke quite some hair pulling to get it all out. After all that I contacted a lush live chat and they offered me $15 I honestly don't think that's the best they could have done but yea pls don't get this product.
I would never buy this product again

I've tried other hot treatments multiple times and I love them all. This one is terrible. I have long black hair and get this thing out of my hair is miserable. The wax turned into bubble gum as I tried to cool it down enough to put it on my scalp. I should have stopped myself then but I trusted Lush's product and believed the wax would dissolve under hot/warm water. BUT IT DIDN'T. I shampoo my hair 4 times and washed with hot/warm water but still couldn't get all of the gums out. Now my drain is clogged and my hair is extremely tangled. Truely disappointed.
It's literally gum in my hair

This definitely was a strange consistency especially compared to damage and hair doctor. I thought it would be a creamy consistency but instead it was like gum. No matter if I microwave it or put boiling hot water in it, it's still that gummy feeling and didn't do anything for my hair. Skip this and get the other ones!!

Not sure why some reviews are so bad, it's one of the best hair masks I tried, wasn't like glue at all, smells lovely, washed-out easy with just water. My hair feels revived, lightweight & smells so good.

Not the best

I bought this because I've gotten it before and it was great! This time, it smelled the same but DEFINITELY did not work the same. I had to shampoo my hair twice to get it out, and it still doesn't feel like I got everything out. After I put water in and it dissolved, I let it cool for about 5-10 minutes and it turned into a slime. This disappointed me so much because I love LUSH and their products. This might be LUSH's only bad product. Not happy.

I follwed the instructions but i think it was not enouth. The mixing looks like a bubble gum and its too hard to apply on the hair. Also to take it off i took 2 or 3 days washing it. But after that i felt my hair shiny and nourished, but on the day my hair and my bathroom was a messy! I still have this bubblegum on my clothes! Probably i will not use this one again.
