American Cream

I remember purchasing the Conditioner wishing and hoping that one day I would be able to find this scent in a perfume. My dreams literally came true when this was created. I LOVE THIS SCENT!! I would not say this smells like a milkshake or like a sweet vanilla fragrance AT ALL (I usually dislike vanilla fragrances with a few very rare exceptions), so I can understand that since it is being marketed that way it can be disappointing if that's what you're expecting. I would say this is definitely a more of a sophisticated fragrance. it is a calm, fresh, slightly sweet scent. I get the lavender and a bit of the vanilla, but I feel like the vanilla is sheer-it is NOT a strong overwhelmingly sweet fragrance in no way whatsoever. I just think it is perfect.

Smells just like the conditioner! Love this!

I will always stick with this scent. It's light, sweet, and dreamy. It lasts and I always get compliments on it when I wear it. I will forever buy this perfume!

I'm been praying for an American Cream perfume for literal YEARS. Two months ago, I furiously was googling "American Cream perfume" and was seriously considering ordering a dubious dupe lol. Today, I went to Lush for my birthday and asked the salesperson if there would ever be an American Cream perfume and she was like "Girl, you are in luck. It's here!!" and I about fell out. I bought the perfume in the full size and the solid and I'm in absolutely heaven. Best birthday ever! My husband loves it too and he doesn't like vanilla scented stuff. I don't know what I'll do if you guys discontinue this. This will be a life long purchase for me!!

I don't get the whole "strawberry milkshake" thing. What I do get is a very nice refreshing vanilla compliments of a cooling lavender and aromatic sage notes. The only downside for me would be that the lasting power and projection are pretty weak. However, I have gotten some wonderful compliments from people when they are in very close proximity (i.e. a hug).

Kind of disappointed. It's not at all as it's described to be. Possibly my fault, it was a blind purchase. My coworker adores every perfume I've ever worn around him, especially LOM. He recently purchased a bottle for his girlfriend and she too loves it. However, this perfume was too offensive for him and he described the scent EXACTLY as I can smell it: powdered sunscreen. Theres is nothing unique about this scent and now I can't wear it without thinking of sunscreen and powder combined. Not a fan. On the plus side, with this odd combination of notes, I can see why it would smell girly for others, but not for me.

This perfume smells exactly like the hair conditioner, with a touch of added sweetness to it . It's subtle , one spritz and people can only smell it from very close up .. but that's why I enjoy this . You can add a few more sprays for extra scent , or only use one to not trigger any headaches . I would describe the scent as comfortable .

I love the scent and it lasts fairly long! I was worried that the scent wouldn't be like the body wash, but it's identical. I'm so glad they finally made American Cream perfume, it's the only perfume scent from Lush that I absolutely adore.

I am so happy Lush made this a perfume. My FAVORITE scent. I love a perfume that lasts, isn't too strong, and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Lush perfumes are winners, especially this delicious one

This is one of my favorite scents in the world, although I wouldn't describe it as "strawberry milkshake". It's more of a sage and vanilla, sweet but also a little earthy. I have used the American Cream conditioner for at least ten years and have been hoping for a rerelease of the perfume for ages.
