Chunky and smells bad

star-star-filled star-star-empty star-star-empty star-star-empty star-star-empty

I absolutely love the key lime pie lip balm and decided to try this. It was so chunky and gritty and smelled absolutely horrible. Nothing at all like roses or lollipops. Definitely try their lip balms. But not this one...

It's an amazing lip BALM!

I got the sample and I've been using it for a few days, and it's been moisturizing my lips fairly well. Most reviews say it was very bad at moisturizing and only oily but that's what a balm is and it gave my lips a bit of a pink tint to them which I love. It does taste a little bitter if you get in your mouth but that doesn't happen unless you lick your lips. Overall I'm going to go back and get the full thing cause it's amazing! I recommend it if you want a little tiny to your lips as a lip balm. It also smells great.

NOT for dry or sensitive lips

I'm not sure how they can claim this is good for sensitive, dry lips as I put it on and literally within 2 minutes I had to reapply because my lips were already dry again (they actually even felt tighter and drier which got worse as I reapplied). I thought that may just have been me at first, however after reading some other reviews I knew that couldn't be the case. I'll keep it because it smells pretty good but I doubt i'll use it again; don't buy this if you have dry or sensitive lips unless you just want to have the scent because overall it's really just not a good balm for that.

I like it but can see why others don't

I received a sample of this today with my online order. I looooooove the rose/rose jam line at Lush, so I was stoked. I popped a bit on before taking my dogs out this morning, and I was amazed. It protected my lips from the cold and wind, and actually made them softer. Over 9 hours later, my lips still feel awesome. Compared to this, Burts Bees doesn't feel as good anymore, and I had never really noticed how often I needed to reapply it. Will be switching. I can see why some people wouldn't like it, especially the texture. I enjoyed it, personally.

A little bit oily

I like the rose and floral scent but I'm not big on how oily it is. It would be better if it was more waxy. My girlfriend liked the scent and texture so I wore it for her

Doesn't work

I'm not really sure what attracted me to this balm but i should have read the reviews first. It doesn't moisturize at all, and has a very oily finish once it's on your lips. It probably wipes off or ends up in your mouth before it has a chance to moisturize. Don't buy if you're trying to relieve dry cracked lips.. would be better if you're just looking for a shiny gloss. Don't be fooled by their description that this moisturizes..

Not sweet at all

With a name with lollipop in it, you'd think t would be on the sweeter side but it is not. I can taste the rose for sure with a strong bitter after taste. It does not last as long as the kiss they used to have and it becomes oily as soon as it touches your skin. Not my favorite by far.

Don't recommend!

I've been using this product for about a month now, and my lips have been consistently dry no matter how much lip balm I use. It's gotten to the point that my lips are extremely dry and cracked. I had to stop using. This has never happened to me before with other chapstick brands.

Wouldn't recommend for winter/ dry seasons

I'm at the point that I Am just using it daily to use it up. I have dry lips in the winter and I always put lip balm in the morning, night and post eating to keep my lips from flaking away. This lip balm if I use before bed, I wake up in the night with dry lips that hurt. Scent is fine but a bit annoying after awhile. Very thin product doesn't feel like it will last on your lips to hydrate a protect them (which it doesn't)

I would not buy this again

Don't get me wrong this smells so good! However I put this on before I went to bed and I woke up with dry cracked lips. When I tried it again it didn't stay on for long and it dried my lips. I also find that this product is grainy and if you get some in your mouth it is so bitter!
