Grease Lightning

This product is a literal miracle. I have oily skin and larger pores, so I'm prone to getting blackheads in my T zone. While it hasn't completely gotten rid of them, I can definitely tell that this gel controls the level of oil on my skin and shrinks my pores. And it doesn't take but a pea-sized amount, so it will definitely last. Nothing else has ever worked this well for me. My skin looks smooth, glowy, and matte, even hours after applying.

Amazing!! I use this in the morning and before bed. Any blemishes that try to emerge....typically gone the next day, this product is magic! I started using it about 11 years ago and I can't live without it. It also works everywhere incase you get a bothersome blemish somewhere you don't want it 😉 highly recommend!!!

I have been using this product since 2014 and it has yet to fail

Bought it to help with my oily face. Seemed to work after the first week. Then, by week 3, it was over drying my face causing my pores to make excessive oil to compensate. Now, I'm even MORE oily than I was in the beginning! I wanted to keep loving it, but in the long run it wasn't a good fit for me.

I use this every single day before I put on my makeup to keep the oil/shine from coming through. One bottle lasts me at least a year and I'm pretty sure I would die without it.

Felt good but it eventually cause a cystic acne breakout. Would not recommended. In general, all of the facial products that I have used have caused by acne to return. Worse than if I used nothing.

THE BEST! This product is magic! It clears my face overnight! I have never come across a product that has casued my acne to completely clear up and stay that way.

I have used this product off and on for just over a year now. Prior to that, I tried everything for my adult acne (the whole sob story is under the Enzymion reviews). I had combination skin, and three different zones with three different types of acne. It was bad, and I had pretty much given up. I went into Lush on a whim (oh this store smells pretty), and left with a bottle of Grease Lightning and a sample of every moisturizer in store. That night, I cleaned my face and applied Grease Lightening. I wanted to get my outbreak under control before attempting a systematic testing of all of these moisturizers. Grease Lightening out performed my wildest dreams. I mean, four days, 2 applications a day, and washing with just water. The black heads remained about the same, the white heads all reduced or disappeared, and the Cystic acne was reduced to little red bumps. Nothing new popped up. It did make my skin drier, but not to the point of redness or flaking. The film feeling is minimal. I went through my tests with the moisturizers and found my one (Enzymion), and now, when I feel a Cystic coming, I apply Grease Lightening and all I get, if anything, is a red bump, easily hidden with make up, for a day or two. Absolutely nothing like it was before. I don't get white heads anymore. When I see a black head (and I mean I'm 2-3 cm from the mirror under bright lights), I apply Grease Lightening and it's gone within the day. As for the bottle, I'm still on the original bottle, and I used it heavily those first 3 months as I went through the moisturizers. I don't think I will be able to finish it (just because I don't need it as much as I did) before it expires in two months. Regardless, I will buy another bottle. The Enzymion is my daily fighter, but I need Grease Lightening for the few one offs. Also, on a super disgusting note, I have used this on my Husband's back. He had two Cysts. Super deep, super gross, has had them for years. This dried them up, gone.

I recently have started a whole new skin routine with just LUSH products because I'm tired of drug store products only making it worse. I got this as a sample years ago and fell in love with it but never got around to buying it. I bought it finally after the new skin routine caused a skin purge from the new routine. Within a day the breakout's redness was gone and 50% of the blemishes were dried up. Within the day after I only had a few pesky pimples that are stubborn. I apply it every day and it just keeps showing more results. I also enjoy the cooling and tightening it does on the skin. If you struggle with acne, PLEASE try this, whether as a sample or the full product. It is worth it!

Whenever I get a pimple or sign of a pimple I put this on and it works wonders! Within a day pimples get smaller and it stops me from picking at it. This is a must have for everyone!
