Youth L.E.A.D.

Youth L.E.A.D. (YL) educates and empowers youth to increase access to healthy foods and green spaces in their communities. YL seeks to improve young people's diets and curb climate change. Through education, empowerment and community-based food justice efforts, food becomes the intersection from which consumers and corporate impact on social justice, environment and public health can be investigated.

How we helped

Funds from Charity Pot go towards creating a youth-maintained edible garden, a farm stand, a youth drop-in center and a kitchen for recipe development, events, food demo and food processing in Little Haiti, Florida.
