Tibet Women's Soccer

Tibet Women's Soccer uses sport as a tool for women's empowerment in the Tibetan refugee community in India, encouraging young women to look inside, speak their truth and affect change in their communities. In the spirit of sports diplomacy, we are preparing the new wave of ambassadors set to engage in the Tibetan freedom movement through the development of Tibet's first women's national team in any sport, set to make their international debut in 2017.

How we helped

With the support from LUSH, we have been able to expand our club team program to more refugee settlements, reaching more than 600 girls each year, and growing. To date, our national team-in-training has appeared in 16 friendly matches against some of the top teams in India, a feat we would never be able to accomplish without LUSH.
