Squamish Climate Action Network

Squamish CAN (Climate Action Network) is a community action group that operates a wide variety of projects in Squamish, British Columbia. Our mission is to educate, support, and empower the community of Squamish by developing, promoting, and implementing sustainable strategies to mitigate climate change. Squamish CAN is dedicated to working with local and regional governments, community groups, and public members to see positive changes within our Squamish community that help us mitigate climate change, one emission at a time.

How we helped

LUSH Cosmetics has donated $8,600 to help Squamish CAN build an outdoor classroom on sight at the Mamquam Edible School Yard (MESY). The MESY Project is one of our many projects that help increase food resiliency in Squamish, while fostering social and environmental awareness in our children. With first phase complete of 30 garden beds, garden shed, and water station, we are thrilled to soon be building our outdoor classroom. Thank you to the fabulous LUSH Cosmetics Team!
