Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition

PRWC's mission is to promote the use of science and education to ensure availability of high quality water in the Pomperaug River Watershed communities. The vision of PRWC's founders was to ensure the region’s supply of pure and plentiful water through three main activities: scientific research, education, and practical support through advocacy and advice. PRWC's goals are to make sure that the people who depend upon water understand the resource and that they take appropriate actions to preserve and protect it. The PRWC strives to develop a culture of decision-making that takes water into account.

How we helped

Funds from Charity Pot go towards the costs of the River Smart Initiative to educate private landowners about protecting the Pomperaug Watershed Basin.
