The Peace Alliance

The Peace Alliance, a national grassroots advocacy organization with a Student Peace Alliance counterpart, empowers its network of 70,000 multi-generational supporters to shift the way people react to conflict and violence. Internationally, we support policies and programs that build non-violent dispute resolution approaches into U.S. foreign policy. Domestically, we work with policy and direct service partners to reduce youth and gang violence and bullying through education, communication, and advocacy. We are determined to create an accountable, cost saving, community directed program to fund youth violence prevention and early intervention programs in order to break the school to prison pipeline.

How we helped

LUSH funding supported the Peace Alliance Action Teams Programs for 2014 that provides tools through grassroots community outreach that addresses route cause of youth violence.
