Operation Blankets of Love

Operation Blankets of Love provides aid and comfort items to animal shelters and rescue groups which increase their chances for adoption. Our Humane Education Learning Program will help to end animal abuse and abandonment. We teach preschoolers through college students respect, kindness and responsibility surrounding animals and pet care and they then conduct a drive to collect blankets and other care items.

How we helped

Funds from Charity Pot go towards the H.E.L.P. (Humane Education Learning Program), which runs in-school programs to teach children about respect and kindness towards animals and responsible pet ownership. Students also collect aid and comfort items for animal shelters to help animals waiting for adoption. Based in California, Operation Blankets of Love collects, transports and distributes recycled and new pet-related items to comfort neglected and abused animals in shelters, rescue groups, sanctuaries and foster groups. In addition, as an Emergency Response Team, they partner with those organizations to provide relief and comfort to animals that are displaced or endangered by catastrophe.
