Movement Rights promotes the rights of communities, indigenous groups, and nature by: Empowering communities to write new rules—we assist communities confronted by harmful projects to pass new laws that place the right of residents (and nature) above corporate profit; building a vibrant movement for the rights of nature through savvy media campaigns, deep education and organizing; advancing Indigenous rights and traditional knowledge though organizing, research and reports highlighting the indigenous defenders of the Earth’s most diverse places.

Funding from Lush will help communities in California and the Ponca Indian nation of Oklahoma assert their right to ban fracking and to promote sustainable energy alternatives.
