Hamilton Naturalists’ Club has been protecting and restoring nature in Hamilton for almost a century. The volunteer-led conservation group offers free public programs including land protection, restoration, education and research.
With the support of Lush Charity Pot, HNC is leading a multi-faceted public campaign in Hamilton that engages municipal council and staff, community leaders, schools, neighbourhood groups, and individuals around the importance of a healthy urban forest and biodiverse urban areas. It’s also creating Carolinian forest demonstration sites around schools in the urban core. The project helps HNC strive for a greener Hamilton.
How we helped
