Children's Peace Theatre

Children’s Peace Theatre is an award-winning community arts organization, serving the children and youth of Toronto, Canada and is committed to creating a culture of peace by engaging children and youth through the practice of art and theatre. CPT uses collaborative creation and the philosophy of Conflict Transformation to guide young people to address the many forms of conflict in their lives and in our communities. CPToffers artistic and theatre programs and projects for children and youth, including school workshops, after-school programs, a three-week summer camp, and youth led initiatives.

How we helped

Funds from Charity Pot go towards the costs of "City of Refuge", a one-year project for refugees and non-status youth in Toronto, Canada. City of Refuge was created to to increase the youth's skills, to develop support systems and to increase public understanding of their experiences.
