Charter for Compassion

The path to a just economy and peaceful world requires listening, understanding and treating others as we wish to be treated ourselves. The Charter for Compassion is a call to restore the Golden Rule to the center of our lives and requires us to always act in the best interest of others.

How we helped

As part of LUSH’s anti-bullying campaign, funds from Charity Pot go towards the costs of organizing the 2013 Compassionate Games that will run Sept 11th- Sept 21st. The Games encourage communities to perform acts of service and compassion. Participating cites include New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Nashville, Phoenix, Houston, as well as initiatives within individual schools and businesses and LGBTQ communities.
