Capital City Alliance

Capitol City Alliance (CCA) is an all-volunteer, civically-minded organization. CCA strives to be involved in all aspects of community life, including governmental processes that affect the Baton Rouge Community, particularly those that impact the lives of the community’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender citizens. They work to identify LGBT-friendly professional resources and establishments and advocate effectively for laws and policies that will have a positive impact on the local LGBT community and their friends and families. Their goal is to provide the platform, people and resources to make these things happen.

How we helped

Funds from Charity Pot go towards the costs of the Baton Rouge project to educate teachers, school administrators and school board members about best practices in LGBT bullying prevention and discipline.
