Alianza Arkana’s vision is to ensure that the protection and development of the Peruvian Amazon and the well-being of its people combine sustainable development, traditional wisdom and modern knowledge. Alianza Arkana’s objectives include advocating for Indigenous peoples’ rights, raising awareness about the threat posed by increasing large-scale industrial developments, implementing long-term alternatives to destructive industrial development and preserving the ancient plant-based healing practices and spirituality of the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon.

How we helped

Funds from Charity Pot go towards the costs of strengthening the indigenous federation “ACODECOSPAT”’s institutional, legal and financial capacity to continue in their efforts in gaining governmental attention for current injustices in the Peruvian Amazon.
