Pearl

The product is good for massages or just moisturizing after a shower, but the plastic 'beads' are scratchy and caused a couple welts before I took a knife and pried them all out. Left the bar looking ugly, but it didn't hurt to use after that.

I like the bar but the pears are annoying as they keep falling off.

love the smell and the actual 'lotion' part of the massage the bar. the pearls on the other hand......are useless and rough.

This product certainly does leave you feeling soft and smelling good. However the only smell of Rose argan oil is in these pink tapioca beads. The rest of the massage bar smells just like the 'Scrubee' body butter. The tapioca beads we're so rough on my skin that I had my boyfriend stop to take them out before he continued using it on my back. Right now I am playing with them in my hands and they have hardly melted & leave a pink stain on your skin. I probably won't be purchasing this again.

This massage bar was given to me as a gift and it was nicely moisturizing, not too oily like the other massage bars. I may have really liked it, and was not bothered by the beads, but the SMELL! Yikes. I am normally a fan of rose-scented products, but this bar's scent is over-powering! I like most of lush's products because they have beautiful natural scented soaps and I've tried their other massage bars and liked them. Maybe the amount or kind of concentrate of rose oil that was put in? It just smelled unnatural. I kept it in a cupboard in it's metal tin, and the scent somehow permeated through and made everything else in the cupboard smell like sour roses, including all my scrunchies which were not even on the same shelf! Maybe others would like the smell, but it was not for me.

Like so many before, I really love the scent but the rough glass like beads make it impossible to use as suggested. They fall out and all over the place if you use the soft side against your skin and if you put the pink beads against you it's near agony with the sharp shards. I had to scramble before my dog ate one that fell to the floor. Keep the scent, lose the beads. This becomes wasteful as it's near impossible for the bar not to break as the beads fall out.

The smell is fantastic. One of my favorite Lush scents. However, as others have mentioned, the pearls ruin the bar, they are sharp and scratchy and useless, causing the bar to crumble quickly. Not worth the price or the mess. You get less product because of the pearls. And the pearls go in the trash. Bummer bar.

First, I'd like to say that I found the name of this bar by Googling "Lush bar with awful pink beads" and it was quite easy to find from there. I really wanted to know what the beads were so I could see if I could just melt the bar down and get rid of the beads or if they would melt and reharden too. Fortunately, because they are hardened tapioca, melting this down was an option. Strained out all the beads and poured it into a mold. MUCH BETTER NOW. Keep the bar, lose the beads.

I love how it smells like "rose jam" but hate the tapioca beads. The beads make the bar break apart in pieces making it hard to work with. And sometimes the beads are evem more broken up and feel like tiny glass shards on the skin, not good. Also, the beads cannot be used, so they get thrown away, not the most environmently friendly bar. And because the beads get thrown away, I end up paying full price for half a bar, making the purchase wasteful. I wish they molded the beads texture into the bar like the "hottie" message bar. I love the bar, hate the beads, so I will be discontinuing purchasing it until they take out the beads, fingers crossed for an improved "pearl" message bar.

The actual oil in this is nice enough, but the pearls make it impossible to use. They break apart and come out of the bar with the slightest pressure and are scratchy against the skin, especially with some of the sharp edges. Would not recommend.
