I really like this moisturizer. I use it day and night. It might seem pretty pricy but if I work for you I think it's worth it. I only use a small amount and it really spreads and seeps nicely into skin.

When I went to lush to buy a moisturizer I got 3 samples. I got Cosmetic Lad, Vanishing Cream and Enzymion. I didn't like Cosmetic Lad too much because I felt that it was sitting on my skin and it wouldn't spread very well. Enzymion I find is very similar to this moisturizer. But I chose to purchase this because I liked how it felt on my skin a bit better.

It does a good job at keeping my skin matte during the day while still moisturizer and soothing redness. My skin is fairly sensitive and this is a gentle moisturizer. The only thing I don't love is the smell but you get used to it and it goes away pretty quickly. I use this wish Angels on Bare Skin and Tea Tree Toner. This combo keeps my skin blemish free and oil free.

First off, I have always suffered from hereditary acne, oily skin, and redness, blotchiness with patches of dryness. With my combination skin, it was extremely difficult to find a good moisturizer. I started off using Skin Drink as a recommendation from my friend who works at Lush, but I found that it was too heavy and didn't soothe my skin very much. I tried a sample of Vanishing Cream and even after a week I saw significant improvement in my skin. My dry spots were nourished, my oily t-zone became regulated and my acne became much less aggressive-looking! For anyone with mild acne and redness, I found that this moisturizer went really well with the Dark Angels face scrub and a tea tree toner. The only con that I have for this product is that it's quite pricey!! Nevertheless, I will continue to use this product (and sparingly! A little goes a long way)

I was given a sample jar of this last week on my recent Lush trip. I'd heard good things about it but didn't want to drop the $ on it until I tried it out. I will definitely be returning to buy the full size. I love the herbal smell and how soft it makes my skin, plus I can already see a big difference in my pores after five days. I barely have to use any to cover my face so I can see this lasting a long time. New favourite!!!

I've been using this on-and-off for years (because when I'm feeling cheap, I'll just get a drug store moisturizer). I really should learn my lesson and only buy Vanishing Cream, because my oily/acne prone skin looks SO much better with it. It keeps the drier parts of my face moisturized and stops the oilier parts from getting too shiny. My skin clears up as soon as I start using Vanishing Cream again. It's nice and light and smell great.

Cons: The horrible, product-wasting container. The cream always gets on the pot's lid and ends up squirting out of the sides when you close the lid. A few times I've flown with it, only to find upon landing that my darling moisturizer's lid has somehow reopened (believe me, I make sure it's good and closed before takeoff) and the cream has exploded all over my suitcase. Seriously frustrating and annoying. If they used a container similar to the Grease Lightning one, it would be a huge improvement.

Despite all that, it's definitely the best moisturizer I've ever used. Just be prepared to go through a pot rather quickly.

I have been battling acne for 7 years now. I have been trying many different products from expensive ones to cheaper drugstore brands. Nothing was working for me until I came across the vanishing moisturizer.
I started using this moisturizer 2 months ago and it did wonders for me. My skin was less oily and my acne reduced dramatically each day as I used the product. It reduced redness and even the appearance of my old scar marks. I love this product!

Before this cream I had large pores and blackheads on my nose and near my nose. This is due to me living in town that has hard water which irritates my skin easily. I bought this cream from the recommendation of the salesperson at lush; within days of use of this product my blackheads were gone and my pores are almost non existent. It is very light and it softens the face. The only problem I had with this product is the price. I don't spend a lot of money in this sort of stuff. However after the results I will buy it again.

After I wash my face, I use the Breath of Fresh Air Toner, then put the Vanishing Cream moisterizer. This moisterizer is amazing! I have terribly oily skin and it makes my face feel moisterized without feeling greasy! I definitely recommend it for acne prone skin because it has calmed down my acne and it doesnt feel like it's plogging my pores. Lasts a lonnnng time too! I bought it in November 2011, and I still have lots left and it's April 2012! And I use it everyday! The only thing that's not so great is the price, but you get your money's worth! So just stop looking at these reviews and just BUY it already!! Hahah

After having problems with acne including cystic acne I thought I couldn't use a moisturizer and most other ones almost always broke me out. I tried out this moisturizer after having given up on proactiv. I bought this along with the 9 to 5 cleanser and the roma water toner thanks to the Lush girl in store. I wasn't expecting any miracles as I assumed I would have acne forever. As soon as I started using this moistuizer along with other products mentioned my acne started to clear up! Now I only occasionaly get one or two pimples and has been like that for months. I have been using this moisturizer since middle Novemeber last year and it is now April and I've only used about half the jar. [$] seemed a little expensive at the time but totally worth it 5 months later. I credit this along with other Lush products for curing my acne that I had had for almost 10 years!!! I even think it is slowly starting to fade my red acne scarring which is a bonus. Thank you Lush!!!

Five years ago a friend recommended I use Vanishing Cream. To this date I have not used any other facial moisturizer. I use it daily after washing my face and I love the way it soothes and moisturizes. I owe my beautiful complexion to Vanishing Cream.

WOW! I have never used a facial moisturizer in my life, but at 21, I figured it was time. I have been unsatisfied with my skin nearly all my life. Since I was a teenager, I have been using an acne cream proscribed by my doctor. Recently, after looking at all the harmful ingredients that have been linked to early signs of aging, I stopped using it. I have combination skin, with a fairly oily t-zone. After using harsh treatments to get rid of the acne on my forehead, I had completely dried out my skin, causing it to make MORE oil! After having a consultation at LUSH recently, I was informed that my attempts to banish the pimples I had were actually making it a lot worse! After using Herbalism, Tea Tree Toner, followed by Vanishing Cream and the occasional Grease Lightening for about two weeks, I am happy to say that I am a new woman! My skin looks completely different. All of my pores are smaller and my acne is completely gone. Unfortunately, my mother was right about me needing to use a daily moisturizer, but FORTUNATELY, LUSH makes the perfect product for my skin. Thank-you! Please never stop making this!

I went to the Lush shop and a lady recommended that I used Vanishing Cream with Fresh Pharmacy. I'm a teenager with a very OILY t-zone and dry cheeks. So whenever I mention that I find that sales associates will always direct me to the most greasiest moisturisers. Vanishing Cream is quite light compared to my other creams but its still too heavy for my acne, I produce way more oil than I want so I really don't need to add to that. Even on my dry cheeks it seems a bit greasy and uncomfortable. I really would have preferred something moisturising but mattifying for my T-zone.

I went in to return 9-5 cleanser, as it had given me a rash. I met a delightful girl (gawsh all their employees are awesome) who discussed my skin problems with me and said she had very similar acne problems, recommended I try Fresh Farmacy and Vanishing Cream... did so, and within a day I had a bumpy itchy red rash all over my face. Through process of elimination it was determined to be the Vanishing Cream - I have combination skin, however, it is more dry than it is oily. I don't recommend this for folks with dry skin as it just makes it more angry-looking. HOWEVER with that said - lots of people love this product so maybe my skin is ultra sensitive... I also had a reaction to 9-5 cleanser as mentioned above.

I do wish this could have worked, that girl had amazing skin.

I just purchased this produt and so far i have fallen head over heels for it. I have extremely oily skin and nothing has ever calmed it down. even if i get oil free make-up, face washes, etc., and blotting paper is always in my purse. but ever since i started using this product, i haven't used those blotting papers once! this is my holy grail of moisturizer!

I find that Vanishing Cream is definitely the best choice for my acne prone, mostly oily/sometimes combination skin. I stopped using it recently because money was tight (I picked up a drugstore cream instead), and it can be a bit pricey. My skin practically exploded with zits, it was as bad (or worse!) then when I was a teenager. So I picked up a new pot of VC, and within a few days of using it (in conjunction with Catastrophe Cosmetic face mask and Aquamarina cleanser to help calm things down a bit), my skin cleared up! I still have a few small blemishes and blackheads, which is normal for me (I haven't found ANYTHING yet to completely clear my skin), but no more volcano zits! My skin tone and texture are both more balanced and even, and my breakouts, while not yet in the past, are back under control! The other day, a couple of friends even complimented my complexion :) It's well worth the price if it's the cream for you!

PS: For those with combination skin who find VC isn't moisturizing enough, I use Imperialis as my night cream whenever I need just a little extra moisture, particularly in winter. Together, they're a dream team!

Consider this my new favorite product. I combine it with the tea tree toner and farmacy facial bar as part of my daily routine. My breakout has diminished significantly and the best part is I stay matte ALL day. It relieves the oily look on my T-Zone. I can't wait to see what this does come summer!!

Since my late teens my mother has engaged in a holy crusade to get our family to moisturize and I was the family hold out (even my Dad jumped onboard before I did). I simply didn't like to moisturize because I disliked the perfume or chemical heavy scents of most of them and disliked the greasy feel I associated with them. So I harried on without moisturizer until I moved to the city and began my lush love affair. After getting a lot of success with clearing up my acne with a combo of greased lightning, Herbalism and tea tree toner I decided to take my problem to the folks at my local Lush. They talked shop with me for a good 15 minutes trying to steer me away from choosing a moisturizer based on how they smell and after a little reflection during which I recalled that they have never pointed me in a wrong direction I took their advice and brought home Vanishing Cream.



All my greivences do not apply to this one. It virtually dissapears once applied sinking in in no time and feels refreshing instead of heavy. It doesn't have much smell but that is not something I count against it as the results are awesome. I had no idea my skin could feel this soft.

Wow! What a great product! I have a normal skin, no acne, no dry or oily patches so I never thought that this cream would be good for me...I was wrong!!! It's so light, absolutlely not greasy, it absorbs so fast, makes my skin amazingly soft, smells fantastic, plus you only need a finger tip to cover your whole face... Best to apply when your toner is still on your skin. I love it_
