I bought this lotion along with the vanilla scented powder, perfume stick and perfume. This lotion unfortunately dried out my hands, on the rest of my body it seems okay. The smell doesn't smell as good as the perfume, so overall it's not something I would bother buying again. The powder I found no real use for, but the perfumes smell amazing! I've gotten so many compliments on smelling like a "krispy kreme doughnut, pure sugar and delicious" (real comments). So if you're looking to smell wonderful, I would just go with the perfume and find a more moisturizing lotion, but hey...I still love Lush and you definitely get your money's worth!

Just got this few days ago!!! Tried it on my skin, fell in love instantly!!!! :D
It absorbs really quickly, and the best part is.. its not greasy at all!! Its perfect to fight off summer dryness! Instantly moisturizes and smoothens the skin!! Amazing product!
And it has this sweet-smelling vanilla, very light but delicious!
I can't wait to actually use this lotion!!! (still waiting for my old lotion to finish!)

I literally just received this lotion in the mail yesterday after hearing so many good things about it and i have to say, i freaking LOVE it. It absorbs super fast and isn't greasy at all. For all the people saying it smells funny, its because its not JUST a vanilla scent. Its a vanilla & almond butter lotion, you're just smelling the almond extracts. It is a little on the expensive side, but 100% worth it, i promise you. This will be my forever lotion!

This is probably my favorite body lotion... ever. It smells really yummy! I also like how light this lotion is. It's not heavy or greasy but it leaves your skin so soft and smooth. I always lather it allover my body after a shower or bath. I feel soft and smell wonderful all day or night.

I tried this body lotion on in the store and i thought that it was one of the best moisturizers ever! It really does sink deep into your skin and make your skin really hydrated! I'm thinking of buying it next time i visit Lush! :)

I have to admit, I'm another person who detests the scent of vanilla anything. I had been in the Lush Store and was given a small sample of this body & hand lotion. I also may add, I don't like body or hand lotions either until I tried THIS !!!! I love the scent; its the only vanilla product I actually do enjoy and it is a wonderful moisturizer; light and absorbs well and very effective for dry skin and I'm in my late 40's .... so no spring chicken skin on me; mines been around the block !!!! LOL

This is an amazing product from someone who doesn't like lotions or vanilla scent ??? I do now and I'm hooked !!!!

This is the best body lotion ever... period. I have a very dry skin and this product have change my life. The smell is fantastic and it keeps my skin soft and amazing all day. In my case, no need for many application, once after my shower and I am good for the rest of the day. All I can say is: Fantastic, amazing, beautiful, always, more, addicted, I feel love...

I got a small bottle of this in a gift box and didn't think much of it at first. I like vanilla scents but they're not always my first pick, and there are hundreds of vanilla creams out there. I have very dry skin regularly, and with it being winter and since I go to light therapy for skin issues 3x/week my skin is insanely dry.

This lotion is nice and light but still moisturizes super well and absorbs quickly. My skin feels so nice and smooth within a minute of putting it on. Also the smell is even better on the skin, not a fake sugary vanilla that you find so often, it's more doughy and sort of spicy. A very natural vanilla.

Overall a great moisturizer. A little pricey but it's a good staple to have, I'd probably buy it again if I had a bit of extra money!

I really enjoyed using Vanilla Dee-Lite. It smells incredible, without being too powerful. It doesn't scream sweet, it is very warm and comforting. The lotion is light enough to put on just before you start your day, it doesn't leave me feeling greasy. Im generally lazy when it comes to putting lotion on, but its such a lovely project i cant help but want to use it. My only issue is the price, i realize it is all good quality ingredients, i just feel like i would enjoy it more if it wasn't so pricey. Otherwise, great great product LUSH!!

For the longest time I never moisturized my skin because I don't have particularly dry/sensitive skin and I found that all the creams and lotions I tried were way too thick and left me feeling greasy and disgusting. Vanilla Dee-Lite is my life-saver body and hand lotion! It absorbs so unbelievably quickly, retains moisture, does not feel heavy/greasy, and has a lovely light vanilla/fruity scent. It definitely is expensive, but for me it's worth the price. I highly recommend this lotion for anyone who is searching for a light, delicious body and hand lotion!

I'm really happy I picked up this lotion as it smells great and is nice and light for summer. It takes a little while to absorb at first, but is well worth it! I've gotten some compliments on the smell, which isn't super overpowering. My only complaint is the price...it came to almost [$] with tax!

I don't mind paying a bit of money for a product I know will work for me. I got this in a gift box for my birthday and wasn't a huge fan at first because it had an off smell, but once I started to use it I fell in love with it and it smelled great. My perfect use for it is before bedtime and in the summer, it's long lasting and feels super nice and helped me cool down. I love that it's not greasy at all. It was gone too soon, and I knew I had to buy more and will continue buying it! :)

I love this lotion, oh so much. It smells amazing, way better than other vanilla-scented lotions. I was a little hesitant because of the price, but it is so worth it.



Today, I was discussing it with a friend when I realized it was spelt "DEE-lite". My nickname is Dee, and it made the product so much more special when I noticed it had my name in it. Now I am telling everyone it was named after me.



Stop reading this, and go buy it. Its worth every penny.

I got this product for free when i bought a bunch of lush products one day. Bottom line, I'm glad I got it for free for TWO reasons; because of the smell, I wouldn't buy it, but, because of the quality, I would buy it and loved getting it for free! I've been buying Lush products for quite a while now, and this product to me is satisfactory only.. But, I'm sure if you're not picky, the smell would grow on you :)

I don't like using lotion. But if I happen to because of flaky skin, I will use whatever I'd been gifted. I got this lotion as a gift. I didn't expect much because I thought vanilla would be too... vanilla. Uninteresting. Not alluring. Unsexy.



But I was wrong! This is such a deep and complex vanilla scent. I LOVE IT. I couldn't stop smelling my arms. I couldn't stop telling others to smell my arm. I put it on over 6 hours ago and I'm still sniffing as I write this!



The only thing I noticed was that it wasn't a deep moisturizer. It did the trick for a little bit, but didn't last. The sexy scent lasts for long time, though so it redeems itself in that way.

I went into Lush last night and was very excited to check out the Vanilary line (the body lotion, massage bar, solid fragrance, dusting powder, etc.). I first picked up the solid fragrance and initially wasn't keen on the scent (which I was disappointed about). The sales girl showed me the massage bar and it was a bit lighter in scent. I still wasn't too impressed. Personally, I felt that the Jasmine and Hibiscus overpowered the vanilla scent, and had a bit of a funky smell. I tried the lotion and put it on my hands and walked around the store to purchase some of my Lush staples. After about 15-20 minutes, the scent was beautiful on the skin. It is such a unique scent and it really softened up and more of the vanilla came through. It's a soft and sexy scent. At that point, I was SOLD!!!



You must give this scent a chance! Don't pass judgement too quickly! This is a real winner!

The best moisturizer I've ever tried. Period. I never thought I'd find anything to soften my terrible hand dryness/eczema... and this worked like a charm. I highly recommend it for anyone who has dry skin problems.



It is not remotely greasy and absorbs super fast. And the best part? The scent is identical to my grandmother's home-baked bread.



Even if your skin isn't severely dry, the amazing scent and resulting softness is well worth the purchase. Not to mention, a tiny dime-sized amount goes a long, long way!
