I have thick, wavy hair and was using Godiva for quite some time. Decided to give this one a try since it had great reviews.

I'm really a fan of this. Like the other shampoo bars, it doesn't make your hair feel great while it's wet. But when it's dry, it's very soft and manageable. It encourages the volume and wave in my hair, which I really like. I use it every other day, and even after sleeping on my hair it still has volume. A little No Drought and I'm set.

I use a semi deep red hair colour, and this is very gentle on it and does not make it brassy as it fades. I love the coconut scent, and works for shaving as well. Anything that is multi purpose and keeps my amount of products to a minimum is a huge plus for me. I'm hooked!

I absolutely love this product. I have thick, very curly hair that can be so frizzy and dry if not treated properly. I'm a vegetarian and am very eco=friendly so it is hard to find vegan/organic/cruelty-free, etc. shampoos and conditioners that actually work on my hair. Trichomania leaves my hair soft, moisturized, with no frizz and shiny bouncy curls. It lathers well with only a few swipes (and I have long hair!) so it lasts forever. It's great for your hair and since it has no packaging and last forver, it's great for the earth too. Amazing shampoo!

I love this product. It smells incredible and I noticed a huge difference with my hair. It had so much volume after it had dried. Even on the second day that volume was still there. I dont have to use a hair dryer or straightener with this product. It looks great without using heat on my hair. Never will I go back to normal shampoo.

I have very long, thick, wavy/curly (it's mellowed out over the last few years)hair that dries out so easily. After the brand of shampoo and conditioner I previously used changed their product and made my hair feel terrible I was looking for something new.Changes in my view of product ingredients (not wanting the chemicals and useless ingredients that don't actually do anything healthy for your hair) left me wanting to make my own shampoo and conditioner from fresh and healthy ingredients. Although I was willing to do the work, all recipes I found were a hassle to make or store and could be really expensive. After dropping by a Lush store (which somehow I forgot they existed)I purchased this shampoo and could not be happier. It cleans my hair without stripping, smells adorable, and definitely helps keep my hair beautiful. Just ordered some conditioners and hoping they work just as great.

I was a bit worried when I rinsed my hair after using this for the first time because it felt as if my hair's natural oils have been stripped off. I was pleased when my hair became bouncy and curly but as the months went on, I started noticing a consistent flakey-ness that happens to my scalp after I used the bar. I'll probably try something else because the excessive dandruff was annoying and noticeable even though it did wonders for my curls.

I have very long, very thin curly hair. It gets tangled and frizzy very easily and always seems to be damaged no matter how often I cut it. I figured this would help as it's very moisturizing and a little more natural than drug store brands, but it didn't really do much. I found it impossible to get a lather going, and I noticed my hair broke quite a bit no matter how gentle I was with it. I figured it just doesn't sud like normal shampoo, but still even after using a lot of it in my hair once a day it never felt clean. The roots of my hair were always greasy and my scalp was itchy. It made my curls more full and bouncy, but didn't really define them because my hair was very frizzy...it was soft, but also extremely dull. It actually looked grey some days...
I lather this in my hands and use it after soak&float as a conditioner and a cover up for the smell, but I wouldn't buy this again.

I have been using Trichomania since the beginning of summer, and I swear by it! My hair is naturally coarse and dry and very brittle, but this shampoo has changed the appearance and strength of my hair. My hair is soft, easy to manage, and I have had virtually NO breakage since I started using it. I told a friend about this product and now she loves it as much as I do!

I came into Lush with a set list (like that ever works) and the lovely sales associate had to show me this (despite the fact I am well over stocked in shampoo) and of course it was the best smelling thing on the planet and I had to buy a piece! I always need conditioner with my shampoo but she suggested not to use any so I didn't, guess what? I didn't need any! My hair looked so healthy and was so soft! Even the next say it looked great! Normally it looks like I need to wash my hair again within the day, but the day after using this product my hair still looked so fresh and healthy! Also it just smells so amazing!

I have fought with my hair my entire life. You'd think by hearing that I have extremely thick, coarse hair or something, but it's actually SUPER fine. The problem is it is SO dry. My cousin is a hairdresser, and sometimes when she used to dye my hair in the salon my hair would be so dry she would have to take off the gloves because she was breaking it just by touching it. Thankfully I've moved onto henna since then, but even that didn't fix the problem.

I tried every shampoo under the sun and pretty much gave up. I used coconut oil but I would have to put so much in my hair, it would look like a greaseball. I originally tried Lush's New solid shampoo because it was recommended for thin hair, but it actually almost made my hair worse. Then a rep recommended Trichomania. My hair is changed FOREVER. After ONE USE, I noticed a DRASTIC difference in the health of my hair. I agree with whoever said while it was wet it felt worse than ever, and sort of made me panic even after I used my usual Okra conditioner, but when it dried.. I haven't seen my hair this healthy since I was a kid. THANK YOU LUSH!!!!!

This was my first solid shampoo purchase and I don't think I could live without it now! I turned to Lush when I decided to stop using silicones in my hair, and the Trichomania is a great balance between cleansing and conditioning for my incredibly thick, wavy/curly hair. I alternate between Veganese and American Cream conditioners with the Trichimania, and my curls have become more defined and manageable with minimal frizz and tangles.

The product also smells AMAZING and I get many compliments on how great my hair smells!

I have dry, frizzy, damaged (from swimming everyday) hair that is relaxed. I LOVE THIS SHAMPOO. IT SMELLS AMAZING, MOISTURIZES SO WELL, CLEANS THROUGHLY BUT GENTLY. Its also really price wise because you choose the amount you want to buy like the soaps. If you didn't know, I have obsessions with coconuts, so I love the idea of the smell and texture. It slightly exfoliates, as well as being gentle. The scent reminds me of when I was in the Fiji islands or Hawaii... WONDERFUL. You can cut the amount at home, and it won't split and pop like confetti, because most of the shampoo bars do that...

I will give this a 10/10... and recommend it to everyone who likes coconuts, nourishing shampoos. I feel this suits everyone, even though it was meant for thicker hair... DID I MENTION IT HELPS TO CONTROL FRIZZ? AND LASTS LONG?

I will repurchase this forever and ever... heehee.

My new roommate uses Lush, and after weeks of smelling her products in the shower, I finally decided to get to a store and buy some for myself. I picked up Trichomania shampoo and American Cream conditioner, and tried them out the next morning in the shower. I had done my research on Lush products, so I knew that my hair was going to feel "too clean" in the shower as a result of not having any silicone in the products, but it really wasn't that horrible or shocking. After my hair started drying, I noticed right away that it felt really soft and looked shiny - not to mention my thick curls seemed very happy!

I don't really enjoy the smell of this shampoo, and it really lingers on your hair, but it's not too bad, and that's why I took off one star. With the American Cream conditioner it just kind of ends up smelling like sunscreen. Also, it doesn't help with my frizz at all. A little goes a long way with this though! I figured that I'd have to use a lot on my super thick hair, but it lathers really really well, and I barely need any conditioner afterward. If you use this with another hair treatment, it could completely change your hair for good! A+!

I've always had a hard time finding certain products for my hair due to it being very curly. Most products dry it out or are just plain harsh. Once i tried this i fail in love with it and how soft it made my hair. I can't say enough good about this product and how it even moisturizers it.

I cannot describe how much I LOVE this product! The smell is AMAZING! Love the coconut! it is super easy to use, and alot more easy to control the amount you put in your hair compared to liquid shampoo. I have no idea why there are people saying it doesn't lather well... make sure your hair is wet and the bar is wet and simply rub it on. Do not expect big foaming bubbles, its job is to clean your hair not give your head a bubble bath... Love how portable it is, but obviously it doesnt fit in the regular shampoo tins so get creative and find a container to properly store it. The sahmpoo will get used up ALOT faster if its left in water or is continually getting wet. Its an amazing shampoo ... it got rid of any product residue as well as sea salt and chlorine from my recent trip without stripping any mositure from my hair. I normally do not shampoo my hair every day since I have dry wavy hair but was able to with no problems using this shampoo on my vacation. I also got my boyfriend hooked on it! He had brought his own shampoo for vacation and instead used mine the whole week because he liked how his hair felt! Great for all hair types, best shampoo I have used in a LONG TIME!

LOVE this shampoo! I look forward to washing my hair with this because it smells SO good and works extremely well. The name "Trichomania" is perfect for this shampoo because your hair smells so good with this that you may be tempted to eat it (although that may not be a good idea)!

I have been looking for a good shampoo that wouldn't weigh my already very thick and heavy hair down, as well as helping the curls to be a bit more 'free'. This is the product for me! I live in a very very dry area and I barely feel like I need conditioner anymore, it's that nice~ I also love that it's a sold, so I can haul my favourite shampoo backpacking and still smell nice on the trip~

Trichomania is, without a doubt, my number 1 go-to when it comes to caring for my hair! Not only is the delicious coconut-y smell divine; this shampoo also brings shine and definition to my curls. (An added bonus is that my husband loves the smell too)! Since my hair is thick and curly, I tend to wash it every other day, and Trichomania lathers well (it is not hyper-lathery like some other solid shampoos, but I find that it lathers well enough), and cleans my hair, leaving it soft, shiny, and very inviting!
