This was the fourth face mask I tried from Lush. I was looking for a deep cleaning mask for my combination, primarily oily in the T-zone skin. At the time of using this product I am 26 years old. My skin wouldn't be considered mature, but the ladies at the Lush store said I should give it a try anyways.
I really liked this mask. I've heard quite a few complaints about the smell, but it didn't bother me. Unlike the catastrophe cosmetic mask which is like a clay, this was spreadable and easy to apply.
I use Ocean Salt on my face about 15 minutes before I use a face mask. I left it on for 10 minutes. After washed it off, my skin felt smoother and surprisingly stronger.
I'm still making my way through the face masks, but I would definitely buy this one again.

I wasn't sure of this mask because of it's emphasis on "mature skin"-- ignore that! If you want a mask that smells fresh and brightens your skin grab this one immediately!
It made my skin soft, smooth, and glowing. I normally will get redness or blotchness on my cheeks after using a mask- not this one. It seemed to have the opposite effect, cooling my skin.
I would tell everyone about this mask.

Although I have the utmost respect for Lush Facial Masks...this one belongs in another category. The mask itself appeared relatively okay when I opened it and applied it on my freshly washed skin. However, as time went on...I felt a strange burning sensation on my face. As soon and I washed it off, the effects worsened. I became blotchy and sensitive (Which rarely occurs).
Perhaps If I had kept using the mask, I might see some results. But that one-time use is all I need to know, and all I want to know about this product. I am a firm believer in the Lush company and what they stand for, but this product was inevitably not my cup of tea...
