I first recieved a sample from my local Lush store. My first ever Lush soap! I loved it, the scent didn't bother me ( surprisngly, I am extremely sensitve to scents ) and the soap didn't irratate my sensitve skin one bit! I also found that it didn't dry out my skin after using, like a lot of other soaps I've used in the past. This is one of my favorite Lush products, and a definite must have for me!

Although the Sultana of Soap smells absolutely amazing, it does dry out your skin a LOT. Well, of course not everyone's, but if you already suffer through having dry skin, it won't help in moisturizing it at all. In fact, it leaves your skin with red blotches where used well. For example, in the shower, the soap felt great, moisturizing; but after having come out of the shower, it left mine, and my boyfriend's skin, extremely red as if it caused an allergic reaction, though it hadn't. On a brighter note, it definitely cleanses your skin well. So if you're someone looking for a good scent, and for something that scrubs off all the dirt and dead skin off your body, then the Sultana of Soap should definitely be in your possession. Unfortunately, that was not the case for us. Immediately after having tried it, Lush Cosmetics were very kind about letting us returning the bar we'd purchased.

I have very dry and sensitive skin, and doesn't matter what brand or kind of soap I used to use, I always felt my skin super dry when finishing taking my shower. But OMG! THIS SOAP IS AMAZING!! is by far my favourite soap, its super creamy and smells lovely (can't believe some people don't like the smell) and it leaves my skin feeling so so soft! And for those people saying it doesn't last long, I would highly recommend cutting this soap with a knife into smaller pieces, don't put the soap directly under the running water and keep it dry between uses, and believe me it will last long!!!!!

I love the creamy consistency of this soap, it lathers well and leaves my skin soft and squeaky clean. The smell is amazing. I have noticed that it does "melt" faster than other Lush soaps so after I shower, I wait until it has dried and store it in my Lush Body Butter tin. I wouldn't want to waste this heavenly soap.

I am in love with the scent of this soap! however, I have to agree with a previous review; this soap is SUPER drying! I got this as a sample and was delighted with the scent but after two mornings of using this in the shower, I was left with a tight feeling on my skin all over and a slight rash on my arms from the dryness. PLEASE make a perfume in this scent so I can continue enjoying this amazing smell!!!! I gave two stars, one for scent and one because it does have a great lather!

I smelled this in the store, and I loved the smell, so I decided to buy a small piece and take it home. When I tried it in the shower, it lathered really well and it smelled awesome. I have to admit, it made my skin seen really tight when I first rinsed it off, but after my shower I dried off and my skin was really soft, and the smell was still on my skin by the end of the day.

This soap smells amazing!! It's also very creamy and does not dry out my skin. It leaves a soft but noticable scent on my skin for hours after a shower. My only complaint is that since it is so creamy, if you are not careful the soap will not last a long time. I cut my bars into numerous small slices, and store the slice I am currently using in a shampoo bar tin. This prevents it from melting in the shower, and I get more uses out of this awesome soap! :)

This soap smells heavenly and looks so exquisite nestled in my white French soap dish...........I absolutely love it......oh and did I say it's gentle and effective as well?

This soap is really creamy and gentle. I was my face with it in the morning the smell is nice and it moisturises well. I loved it :)

This soap not only smells wonderful it lathers up really well and is great for shaving, (legs). I think for those who complained that it does not last, the trick is to not hold it under the running water/shower. Hold it away from the water and just lather it up on your hands. The thing I really love about this soap too is that it has no sulphates or parabens. Unfortunately I can't say the same for all of the lush products but this one does not include those harmful chemicals in its ingredients. Funny thing is that I used to love "Honey I washed the kids" but was disapointed to find out that it had the dreaded chemicals in it's ingredients, (parabens/sulphates), I also found that it did not lather nearly as well as Sultana. This one is going to be a keeper for my entire family!

I usually am not a fan of bar soaps since they usually dry out my skin, but I thought I would try out this creamy soap and I am not disappointed in the least!! It smells amazing and is not over powering. It lathers very well and leaves my skin so soft. The only con is that it is so creamy that it won't last as long as most bar soaps.

Got it as sample with my order. Didn't like the smell so I did try to be nice and let my daughter get a bit of Lush product but even her refused to use it telling me that it's smell "the old lady". Happy that I didn't follow my desire to buy a full bar as I wanted to do but picked another soap instead.

This is one of my most favourite soaps, & I am not a big fan of bar soap. Thank goodness it's gentle, because I found myself washing my hands extra, just to catch a whiff of the smell! It is sooo delectable...I'm seriously tempted to nibble on the soap!

This is the first soap I have tried from Lush, and I absolutely love it! It smells awesome, and it has a really creamy comforting feel to it. When this one runs out, I will definitely be buying more Sultana, and more Lush soap in general. I'm hooked!!

i use this product everytime i get my hands dirty, but i can get really dry hands and this soap has fixed that problem! it cleans and moisturizes in one couldnt have asked for anything more.

I absolutely love this soap. It smells amazing, makes my whole bathroom smell good for hours after I shower. The scent lasts for a long time on your skin after, but it's not overpowering. It doesn't dry out your skin at all.

The only thing that I'm not crazy about it that when you lather it up, the bits of dried fruit go all over the place. I have to pick them up out of the shower when I'm done! But that's a small price to pay for this awesome product!

Although this soap smells pretty good, that's about the only thing it's got going for it, as when I tried it, it left a sticky film on my skin...bad enough that I had to shower a second time. Won't be repurchasing this one.
