This was definitely an interesting way to clean your teeth. Once you get past the crunch and brush, it is really good. Also does not have a conventional flavor, but really toothpaste flavors have been kind of hardwired in. My teeth feel clean for hours, even after eating. Perfect to pop in your purse or to take camping. Nice to know its not tested on animals, as sadly most major toothpaste brands are. Keep up the good work and I'll keep buying.

I personally adore this product. I'm not really a big fan of extra minty toothpaste and Sparkle has become a perfect alternative for me. I could actually see my teeth become whiter and sparkle after the first use. It was like a miracle. My brother was also convinced to love this. However, he's one of those who don't really like the taste and the chalkiness of the tabs, so he came up with a really great way to use them, which I've adopted myself.

If you have troubles using the toothy tabs, try following these easy instructions:
1. Put 1 toothy tab in between 2 small clean pieces of napkin
2. use the non-brush end of your toothbrush and gently crush the tab into fine ground.
3. Wet the toothbrush my putting it under running water, then pick up the ground tab by gently press the brush on it.
4. Brush away. If you don't like too much foam, don't rinse your mouth before you brush your teeth.

I find this a very effective way to use the product. First of all, none of the product goes to waste, compared to when you nibble and most of the tab is at the back of your tongue. Secondly, it minimizes the strong taste and chalkiness that not every one enjoys since the product does not directly touch your tongue anymore. Instead, it leaves a very mild and pleasant fresh taste afterward. Lastly, the fine ground of the tab helps deliver the product to every single corner of your mouth and gives you the optimal result it can provide.

If you're considering purchasing this product or any other types of tooth tabs, don't hesitate. It does take a few brushes to get use to but the result is very worth it and you'll eventually become to enjoy it.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I tried these. I had barely read the label when I popped one in my mouth and started brushing. All I can say is....WOW!!! At first you get the lemon but after biting into it and brushing, there's this intense but pleasant BAM of black pepper! I felt my mouth becoming very clean very quickly. I normally use Crest and it takes me a while to feel like my mouth is clean and I can stop brushing, but with this toothpaste, I felt my entire mouth was clean. I would definitely recommend this, I can't wait to try some of the other varities!

I researched this product before i was addicted to lush and found out that you could get samples of products. I read that this has a lemon vanilla flavor but also has black pepper oil. This was my first toothy tab, and at first the taste is a bit weird and its takes a while to get used to, but i found that even after eating breakfast my mouth was still clean feeling hours later, so i am sold on how fresh and clean it leaves your mouth, and after using it for a few weeks, im even used to the taste (there is like 40 tabs in a box which i think is worth the value) later on i got a few samples of other tabs that i enjoyed the flavor better, but Sparkle really does leave your teeth shiny and your mouth fresh, i think much longer than traditional tooth paste

I decided to try this product because I find that regular toothpastes don't make my mouth feel as clean as I would like and this product also promotes the removal of stains. I found the taste less than desirable, kinda soapy, and very foamy but my teeth do feel cleaner and hopefully they'll get brighter too. If it works, I don't care about the taste!

I got about five or six of these as a sample at my last visit to a Lush store.

After realizing how unusually foamy they get, I broke one in half, which I liked better, and finally used the rest of them in quarters.
I prefer less foam in my mouth, and with proper brushing, the cleansing effect will not suffer if you use half or a quarter of a tablet per session.
This is important to me as these are not exactly cheap, and getting twice or 4 times the use out of one box will definitely make a big difference in price!

I don't mind the flavour at all, in fact I quite like it, but then again I have been using tooth soap for a while and don't mind that either.
I have never been a fan of overly minty or "fresh" tasting toothpastes, and I loved the herbal flavour of the Sparkle tabs.

What's really great about these is that they are plastic-free, which is quite the rarity for dental care products.
The other thing is that they don't contain glycerine, because they are dry, so they won't coat your teeth and instead actually clean them quite well.
This is an amazing product for people who are very environmentally aware and at the same time into really clean teeth (vs. people who advocate just vigorously brushing with water, for example).

Finally, this product will be a lifesaver during long plane travels. You can pack it into your purse and won't have to worry about any airline rules about liquids, and you won't have to use those wasteful nasty little mini toothpaste tubes they sometimes give you.
As long as you have access to some water and a toothbrush, these will leave you pleasantly refreshed after a long flight.

Although I'm sure this cleans teeth well, I HATED the taste. I couldn't get past the horrible taste. It left my mouth feeling clean but it had a horrible after taste. I suggest using a mouth wash after wards. Good thing I only tried the sample of this product.

The results of this product were very impressive. I have some stains on my teeth from excessive tea drinking, and they're not as white as I'd like. After using this product TWICE I started to notice a difference. There's a small brown stain on my front tooth, and it has started to become lighter.

YES, this doesn't taste very good. It's somewhat similar to eating a mouthful of dried flowers...

BUT the taste does not last long after you've rinsed out your mouth, and it honestly makes your teeth feel super clean, and the "sparkle" is noticeable right away.

Will definitely be purchasing again! :)

I use toothy tabs at least once day as well as a toothpaste for sensitive teeth, and I'm not that impressed with Sparkle. It does do a good job of cleaning and keeps my breath from smelling bad for longer than toothpaste, but I can only taste the pepper and it takes a few rinses to get the chalkiness out.

Other people might like it, and I wouldn't object to getting it as a gift, but I don't think I'll be buying this for myself again.

These tooth tabs are great for whitening your teeth however it takes a bit to get used to the taste. When I used my first one I was thinking "Hmm...Tastes like...Soap." It was a mixtures of soap and shampoo. After my third though the flavor no longer bothered me. For people who have a hard time acquiring tastes I would recomend a different toothy tab, but if you like very white teeth I would definitely recommend these ones.

Uh... after using Atomic I was hoping for something a little less intense-tasting. The description held the allure of citrus, which is yummy, so I went for it! Unfortunately it tastes almost exclusively of black pepper, leaving me with an unpleasant after-taste. I'm gonna use all of them because hey, I bought them! -- but after I'll try a different one. Not my favourite. :(

I was very disappointed when I first tried these toothy tabs. The sales person mentioned it contained vanilla, so it definitely interested me. Once I tried it, it tasted mostly of pepper and lemon. Yikes! Not a very tasty mix. But it did leave my teeth clean. Atomic is way better.

I have been blown away by every product I've ever purchased from LUSH and this is no exception. These little tablets are quick and easy, and have a really unique flavour, but leave my teeth feeling super clean. I feel people who rate the taste as awful missed the part about the product being baking soda based. LUSH has done a fantastic job of making these palatable and refreshing. I only wish you could buy these in bulk!

I have never used anything like this as a tooth cleaner before- usually I use sensidine. Crunching it up wasn't a problem, it was kind of fun. However, the taste was quite dreadful...I tried both Sparkle and Dirty...the only difference was the faintest hint of pepper in the Sparkle. Both had a very strong soapy flavor. My teeth felt marvelously clean, but my tongue felt rather raw afterwards and the skin on the inside of my cheeks and lips started to peel. Sort of weird?

When my local Lush store got this flavour I knew I had to try it. I love vanilla and citrus, and i figured that I just had to try Sparkle. The only thing that prevents me from giving Sparkle 5 stars is that there is no vanilla taste. I taste a bit of citrus and black pepper, but no vanilla. Don't get me wrong, I do love this product and will repurchase, but I would like a vanilla taste. It does an amazing job at cleansing your palate and whitening teeth. It also does not leave an unpleasant after taste. It foams up very nicely, and is very travel and environmentally friendly.

These tabs taste kinda funny. They aren't as horrible as some of the other people have said but they're different! But honestly they clean so well I don't really care! I can't stop running my tongue over my super clean teeth! Can't wait to try the rest!

I am so impressed, after the first use i didn't know what to think it did taste differently and that caught me off guard a little, but after the second use i noticed how shinny my teeth were, the name does not lie not only were they shinny but my mouth feels extremely clean and seems to stay that way for far longer then it usually did! I will totally re-purchase, i am even sad i just picked up one box!

I went over to the lush store downtown ottawa today to discover these toothy tabs! I wanted to try them out and i picked up sparkle,



it is a bit odd, at first i felt a bit skeptic about this product, but as i tried it i found it did foam up and it did work well my teeth and mouth did feel clean and my teeth nicely polished.



My only reserve is the taste, its again a bit odd. But for the price and the quality + the eco of the pocduct i think its awesome i will buy again!

I loved the dirty toothy tabs, so I thought these new ones must be great, however there was ZERO vanilla flavour, absolutely none. All I could taste was the pepper. No lime no grapefruit nothing. Just pepper. When I brush my teeth I want a clean feel, not like I still just ate dinner.
