I usually use it a few times during the day in order to keep my flyaways in check.
It was super and exceeded my expectations of the product during Montreal's cold snap in January. I was dressed like I was in the Antartic and upon my arrival at work or home, after combing my hair, I'd warm up some Shine So Bright on my fingers and pass it through my hair.
I've also found another usage for Shine So Bright. When we were experiencing a cold snap, my scalp was a little itchy and dry at a certain spot. So I applied some of this product and the itchiness subsided!
The smell is so delicately tropical.
I even use this product to help texturize my mom's hair after blow-drying them. They make her fine, wavy hair smooth and shiny and defined.
Now I always have to carry it along with me wherever I go. It's truly amazing.

I received this as a gift from my sister. The first time I used it, it left my hair looking greasy. But I gave it a second chance! Now I carry it in my purse all day long. After a day of running around in the Montreal winter, a little bit on my hair, keeps it looking smooth, wavy, and shiny. Instead of dry, windblown, and messy!

I use this product each night before I go to bed. Since I shower in the mornings, this allows for the product to take effect on my hair during the hours of sleep at night. I use more than recommended, and I use it in more of a "leave in conditioner" way.
I love how it immediately smoothes out my dry, split-ends. I am a blonde so I find the split-ends are much more noticeable. I was skeptical of this product at first, but I have really grown to love it.
A word of caution however: If you have very fine hair like I do and plan to use it in the same way, use it at night. I find it makes my hair quite greasy (even with a little bit), and I also find that it leaves a thickening residue at the ends of my hair. I wouldn't want to go out with it in my hair.
Overall, I love this product. So glad I found it! Perfect for a girl growing out her hair.

This smells AMAZING!! (I recommend to pair it with happy happy joy joy conditioner) it is very effective. I have curly thick hair that dries out very easily, so this is a great way to quickly soften and repair my split ends. At first I was quite surprised with the "lip balm sized" tin and the more solid texture than I was expecting... But after a few uses, I realized it was an awesome size to bring with me in my bag, and also, you just need to rub it to make friction and it will be easier to get on your fingers... Though it is great, I still believe there is a better way to present this product. BUT, that should not keep you from trying it out! I promise you it is super effective and smells heavenly!

I love LUSH and all their wonderful hair products, so I was super stoked to try this one out! The product texture itself surprised me a bit, is actually more solid than I was expecting, very much like a lip balm texture.

I love this product, it smoothes out my ends and makes my hair soft and frizz-free. I like to apply a little bit to my ends while my hair is wet, and it works like a charm <3

I've tried almost every hair treatment product Lush has to offer, and this one met absolutely NONE of my expectations. While I can appreciate the fact that this product smells amazing, and does make your hair/split ends softer and less noticeable; I can't help but be a little repulsed by how greasy it can make your hair. I followed the instructions on how to use this hair treatment, and noticed right away while straightening my hair, that my ends were greasy and almost stiff in texture. It also causes my straightened-hair to go wavy, and looks as though I washed all of my hair EXCEPT the parts where I applied this product. It's also quite a small amount of product for the price you end up paying. If you're looking for a hair treatment to help repair broken/damaged hair/split ends, I'd just use the Rehab Shampoo by Lush and forget about this one. It does make your hair smell pretty great, though.

I have big problems with split, brittle ends and this stuff works miracles. It's also perfect for taming those pesky fly-aways. Gives my hair great shine but I find I have to wash it more often or else it gets too greasy. Also a big fan of the smell!
