Mark (LUSH co-founder) used to shave with our amazing Handy Gurugu hand cream. Inspired by his wacky ways, Helen (LUSH co-founder) used Handy Gurugu’s base to create a thick, super moisturizing shaving cream. My husband gets very thick stubble and also has very sensitive skin. He had tried many drug store brands, but they all left him dry and red. After loving some Lush skincare products I bought for him, he tried out their shaving creams. He fell in love with Shave the Planet as it really helped him tackle his thick facial hair. It coated and softened his hair, and found he didn't have to do multiple strokes to remove the hair. Left his skin silky smooth with no razor burn in sight.
Although he does say because of the thick consistency, you need to rinse your razor often to prevent clogging.
He was so upset when they discontinued it! We tried every other Lush shaving cream, and he hated them! We were so happy it was brought back on retro.

I got this as a sample and I will continue buying Prince instead! I thought it was too thick to shave legs, like the blade glided on top of it. My legs felt stubbly the next day, and I'm not especially hairy... Smells fine, but Lush as some better shaving creams (at least for ladies).
My boyfriend thought it was great for him though!
