I find it's a little hard to get open. I have to use my nails.
And it's a little small. I don't like digging my nails into the solid shampoo to get it out.

But I can't complain. It keeps my shampoo from melting away and having to buy new ones every week! :)

I bought this with my solid LUSH shampoo as a compact easy way to store it.. and I liked that it said LUSH right on the tin.The first time I used the tin it was great, but after that.. oh my goodness.. let's just say, last night, my LUSH shampoo bar did not get used. I spent over 5 minutes trying to open the thing before I gave up! I tried drying it, pulling, twisting, trying to pull the cover up with my nail, but it is just not very convenient for the shower where the tin can get wet and sticky. I'm kind of mad I spent [$] on a tin [*], just like all the containers I could have bought at [@] for $0.50. I might try using my plastic container my Angels on Bare Skin came in, after I'm finished with that.

I really like lush and haven't found a product I wan't happy with, until now. I used it today and I couldn't get it open, so I had to stop the shower and dry my hands and the tin and get it out. The bar stuck very easily, and even if I shook it, it wouldn't come out and I couldn't get it to slide.

I have a tuca tuca massage bar, so I used it for that instead of the yellow bag. I just ended up putting my shampoo bar in my old Ocean Salt container.

Would not reccomend.

I love these tins, At first I was against spending that much on the tins for my shampoo and one for my jungle conditioner but I thought well I pay for plastic bottles all the time and these ones are reusable so why not in the end its so worth it,they seem to last longer and keeps them fresh,I just take the lids off put the tins at the side of the tub, use them put them back in the tin and finish my shower, when I get out I take them out of the shower give the tins a quick dry close them and place the product on top of the closed tins to dry, flipping them once or twice until dry and then put them away.

I like the concept and this tin looks great. Especially since it comes free when you buy 2 or more shampoo bars in my store (and I usually buy 3 at a time) but I have never been able to get my shampoo bars to not get stuck in the tin. You have to wait until your bar is completely dry (100%) before inserting in the tin or you will have a hard time prying it out. It is perfect for travel if you can keep your shampoo bar relatively dry.

The size of the tin is fine, and the bar barely sticks. The shampoo bar just pops out if you turn it upside-down and tap the bottom. I think only once (maybe twice) I actually needed to splash some water in it to get the bar out. Don't forget to drain out the water when you're done using the bar. Draining reduces melting & sticking. Also great for containing the smell of Soak n Float, and reducing it's strong scent in the bathroom. Great that the tin comes for free with the purchase of two bars. The tin protects the bar from melting away so fast. It does the job!

Oh how I love my shampoo tin! I got one for free while buying two shampoo bars in store and I fell in love with the cute little containers. I keep all my shampoos in them and jewellery when I travel.



Sometimes my shampoo gets stuck to the bottom of the tin, but nothing a little bit of water can't fix!

I use this handy little tin mostly for travel, but also when I restock on my solid shampoo at Lush in-store and want to take it home in something reusable, other than a yellow packet. It's a bit tricky to open with wet hands, but that's not a problem so long as you open it up before you shower. It's a good product; I'd have given it five stars, but sometimes my shampoo gets stuck.. it takes a couple of whacks on the palm of my hand to get it out, but it'd be easier if the tin was a tad larger.

So when I use these and I have a new solid bar after my first use instead of storing it in the bottom half of the tin like normal I put it in the cover. Since the cover goes over the bottom its a bit wider than the bottom half. Also the top half is not as tall as the bottom half so part of the shampoo bar will stick out making it easy to grab. I leave the bottom half off to let it dry and yes it sticks a little bit BUT since there is more room on the sides and more of it pops out and you can actually easily grip it taking it out is really easy.



They last forever and are reusable. Minimal space. Good product if you use the shampoo bars.

Please find a way to make a container that is easy to open! Or EASIER to open. I go from one gym to another, from home to school and bring my little tin with me for when I work out and I'm always fighting to get it open. The size is perfect but (especially after the first use when the tin gets wet) it's insanely difficult to open. I had to smash it against a gym bench to get it open a bit and then I sat there like a fool trying to pry it open. A waste of time to be sure!

My shampoo bar fit just fine in the bar - and I also don't know what everyone is talking about how it's hard to open! In the store, all of the bars opened easily! The tin itself is very pretty. Make sure to dry the bar before putting it in - I use the bar, then dry it by putting it on its side, not the flat side, but the curved edge, or just prop it up against something. Let it dry (in a dry spot!) then put it in and it's just fine. It's great for travelling! The only bad thing is the price - I got mine free with 2 bars, which is great, but [$] is a bit too much by itself. But overall, another great product from Lush!

From some of the comments I had read before I got this, I was worried about using it, but since I got it for free anyhow, I figured I would put it to good use.First of all, I DO think that [$] is a bit pricey for a small tin. If it wouldn't have came free when I bought 2 shampoos, I would have never gotten one on its own. Since it DOES come for free though, it is awesome value, because I use the solids all of the time anyhow so I just get 2 at a time.Secondly, for those who complain about the solids not being able to fit, I agree, but not once you've used it.Once I use my shampoo, I let it dry off, next I put it in the little plastic bag that I brought it home in, and THEN put it in the tin. It fits in perfectly..(its like wearing nylons... It's always easier to put a shoe on afterwards) and leaves no residue on the tin.

This is a necessity if you have a small shower. I used to be able to store my solid shampoos in a little cupboard-y thing in my shower but now I have just a small shower in which my shampoo bars are doused with water the entire time. This tin prevents them from melting away down the drain and makes it a breeze to travel with your shampoo. Just be sure to keep the lid off in between showers or else the moisture trapped inside will turn the bar into mush, but that kind of goes without saying.

It really isn/t a big deal...everyone seems to be complaining about the size of this tin (although in all fairness, it is meant to be used for shampoo pucks), but has anyone out there thought about using a BIGGER tin, such as the square one? The shampoos fit perfectly into them, nice and airtight, and the round tin could be used for small pieces of soaps!! That/s what I do - everything stays nice and dry, and nobody gets hurt!!!!
