I use the product every 1-2 days. I bought a bar well over a month ago and there is still a lot of it left (half the size). It smells great, my hair actually feels clean after I use it and it makes my scalp feel great. It also works great with coloured hair. My colour has lasted weeks longer than it has with regular drug store shampoos.

I was worried about using it because I have an extremely sensitive scalp, but it's great. I haven't used a product that can measure up.

The only not so great thing about it is my friends are always trying to steal it.

This was my first shampoo bar from LUSH, i've previously bought my shampoo from the local health food store but was unhappy with the results. After a smelling session in store and reading reviews, I decided to get this shampoo bar.

I love the smell. I wet my hands, and rubs it between them, using that lather on my hair instead of rubbing the bar on my head. It cleans very well, and my hair feels soft and nice afterwards (I use it with American Cream).

I found that even in the win and with me drying it between showers it stayed a bit mushy, but I also live in a humid area.

Washing my hair every other day this lasted three months.

This was my first shampoo bar from LUSH and I have to say it was not disappointing. First off, the smell is TO DIE FOR. It also just looks so pretty and cute sitting on my self. I went into LUSH and told the girl what my hair type was (Fine and oily) and she recomended the Seanik and BIG solid conditioner to me. The two together work wonders! So the concept of a solid shampoo was foreign to me, so it took a bit of getting used to. I bought a tin, but honestly I've learned that it's pretty much useless if you're not taking your shampoo bar anywhere. DO NOT, I REPEAT NOT, KEEP IT IN THE TIN OR THE SHOWER, IT WILL GET MUSHY. What I do is put all my shower things on a plate while I'm showering then when i get out, I lay my Seanik and BIG conditioner on a dry cloth to air dry, flipping them when the sides are dry. This might be inconvenient but if you think about all the harmful chemicals you're saving your hair from and the wasteful packaging, it is well worth it!

I used this product daily and I have long hair that would be considered normal hair. I loved this product, I could see it work instantly and it gave me some volume and a bit of a wave as well. This product is also great for travelling since it takes up no room. It also smells great! I love this product and recommend it

I bought this on a whim. I have bizarre hair that is often dry and out of control with fly aways but I am quite active so my hair gets quite sweaty, gross, full of chlorine and just weighed down. My old after swimming shampoo stripped my hair or everything and left it feeling like straw.
I was skeptical to try a solid shampoo, but am quite pleased with the results so far. Seanik cut all the oil, sweat and chlorine out. After the first time I thought it was too harsh for my hair, but with a good conditioner my hair is light, in control, my fingers can run through my hair (a rare occurrence on it's own!) without pulling out chunks of hair.

This stuff is amazing. Use it about five or six days a week on normal-oily hair. I got a new bar yesterday and due to being easier than the little broken pieces I had left of my old one, I really went to work on a good lather today. I have a semi permanent hair dye in, and its washing out a lot more at my roots than at my long ends (I wouldn't say Seanik strips colour or anything, its just been in for a while), so I washed my full strands today. Most shampoos this would dry it out. But today my WHOLE HAIR feels incredible instead of just the scalp. My first bar did last me a very very long time, and i probably even wasted a lot before I understood how to properly store it (a wire shower rack out of the water stream works best, gets air and doesn't stay soggy) but I will say towards the end it gets a little harder to use. I still definitely got my money's worth though so no complaints.

Try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Great hair at a great price, and the solid bar is fun!

dreadlocks are a weird thing to keep clean, you have to be careful about what you use and this bar is perfect for looking after them. It strips out oil really well and doesn't have any residue to weigh down hair. Seanik also has such a pretty scent that I look forward to getting to use it.

I am so happy I have finally found such a great product for my thick, wavy hair! This awesome bar lathers amazingly, the sea salt brings out shine in my waves and the seaweed softens and leaves my hair super duper soft and clean. What else could one possibly ask for?!

I bought this product with high hopes. And let me tell yah, it's great! I have quite oily hair so I was looking for something that would help me out with that. It does wonders for me.
Although some have complained that the scent isn't strong enough, I find it's perfect. With all the products that go into my hair after I was it there isn't a hint of the smell left, however there's no shampoo out there that would still have a smell left over after all my treatments.
I honestly can't think of any draw backs other than if you don't have oily hair, this is not the product for you.
Bottom line, I love this product, I love the gentle scent, and it does wonders for my hair. I would 100% recommend this to a friend.

The thing I love the most about seanik is the smell - it's very unique, hard to describe, kind of like the sea. absolutely lovely :)
Unfortunately the scent doesn't linger and you won't smell it in your hair afterwards; only while you're lathering.

I get my hair soaking wet, dry my hands, then rub the shampoo bar right into my roots, one circle at the back of my head and one at the top, where my hair gets the greasiest. The shampoo lathers really well - you don't need very much. I've used this for six months, every other day, and I've used a third of the bar. Price wise, for the same amount of use it's a bit more expensive than herbal essences or any other typical drugstore brand.

It gets all the grease out of your hair without ever being drying. I have normal hair and I've used this without conditioner; every day; every three days, and my hair always comes out soft and perfectly balanced, oil/dryness wise.

Don't worry about the seaweed bits getting stuck in your hair. There aren't actually that many, and on the rare occasion that one gets free from the bar, it'll wash out of your hair.

I would recommend keeping it in a covered container of some sort so it doesn't wash away. Either a lush tin, or a plastic dollorama soap container.

All in all, keeps your hair perfectly balanced oil-wise, not drying, decent price, lathers well, smells lovely.

I got this as a sample with my last purchase. I hadn't tried the solid shampoos up to this point because they are full of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (research).

I did try it just to see what they are like and I liked the smell alot more on my hair than sniffing the bar. The bar smells like laundry detergent to me :s But it is much nicer once you rinse your hair. I found it dried out my hair a bit, so I would recommend a conditioner with it.

Good product, hopefully they can change the ingredients in the future.

IF YOU ARE A SWIMMER, SWIM TEACHER, OR A LIFEGUARD - YOU NEED THIS SHAMPOO. My hair felt terrible after teaching swimming lessons 5 times a week, EVEN when I wear a swim cap. I was recommended this solid shampoo from a lush consultant and as long as I work at a pool, I will use it. It makes your hair blindingly shiny, and you do not smell the chlorine in your hair. It is MUCH more affordable than Aveda After Sun which strips your hair of chlorine AND everything else. LOVE IT.

After reading a bunch of reviews and getting some input from the SA, I finally decided to dive in and try this solid shampoo.
I've been using it for a month and I really do enjoy it. The scent is lovely. It actually makes my entire bathroom smell like it :) I used to wash my hair every other day, but I found that after I began using Seanik, I can go a little longer between washes, which is nice. My hair feels a little rough after washing, so I definitely recommend using a conditioner. Once my hair is dry, its actually has more volume and is softer.
The only problem I have with this shampoo is that it does not lather well if you have hard water. You have swipe a couple more time to get the same results as if you were using a softer water.

I used to have to wash my hair once a day (in the summer sometimes twice) because though I have a lot of hair, it's very fine and looks oily very fast.

I have tried many different cleaning methods (no-poo, twice a week, dry shampoo) and this is the shampoo bar for me. At least for Spring, Summer and Fall (for the Winter this may be a bit too astringent, FYI).

However, when the weather is not too dry, this is perfect, give my hair volume, cleans my hair super well without over drying it (I used it with Veganese conditioner on the tips of my hair) and gives it a nice shine.

I used to have to wash my hair just to get it to not be so dry and frizzy (sounds crazy, I know). Since using this product (in conjunction with American Cream conditioner) I have the hair I always wanted. I no longer wake up in the morning with an insane blonde afro, it no longer looks like a tornado went through my hair. My hair is now calm, smooth, shiny and my wavy hair is under control. I no longer need to wash my hair everyday to infuse moisture, I can wash it every 2-3 days even and it looks amazing!

I originally bought it because I am working at a summer camp this summer and I didn't want to carry a lot if it was a shared shower. Tried it at home, and I instantly fell in love. My hair is softer and fuller than it has ever been and it smells amazing. I love the fact that I know that it's a vegan product so it's good for me and the environment. Buh bye messy liquid bottled shampoos!

I have naturually crazy hair, and a lot of hair.. like my hair is everywhere, you could get lost in it. But this shampoo really tames my hair, while still making it soft and voluminous. I have natural waves, and my waves have never looked so nice. My only wish would be for this product to add more moisture to my hair. But all in all, this is some good stuff. Thanks Lush! <3

Absolutely LOVE this shampoo bar. I was hesitant to use it at first because some shampoos make my hair oily, but not this. It smells great, sooo much lather, and thoroughly cleans my hair. So easy to use and great for travel. Would DEFINITELY recommend!!!!
