As much as I love LUSH, this not the greatest product at all. I loved the smell of it, and it didnt feel greasy at all. But when I used it in the shower, after washing it off.. It felt rough, and when I would rub my fingers together, it would make that squeeky rubbery sound.

My first time using Lush products and I imediately fell in love with the floraly lime scent. It lathers up fairly good with a loofah, and leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. My only problem is that the scent does not linger after.

I first bought this when picking up a seanik shampoo bar. A friend who was also a lush fanatic called me while I was shopping at the store and begged me to buy the Sea Vegetable soap. I picked it up. AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. It lathers well, smells awesome (like slushies at the beach), calming, and good for people with sensitive skin like me :) The seasalt gives a slight exfoliation. The colour fades very quickly, but its not much of a deal for me.

I sometimes use it after I get sunburns, because I feel refreshed EVERY TIME after I use this. My cabinmates at camp have stolen chunks from my large block.

I recommend it to everybody who is a fan of their sea-related line (big blue, seanik, ocean salt).

I give this a 10/10. YAY!!

I use this in the shower to shave my legs and they feel so good afterwords. I suffer from incredibly dry skin, especially in the winter, so I was unsure about using this in case it made my dry skin worse. But I tried it out and I love it. I'm never going back to expensive skin drying shaving creams. Plus it smells like the ocean!

I bought this soap on a bit of a whim while grabbing a shampoo bar. The sales associate told me that this soap goes well with the Seanik shampoo bar, and it honestly does!!! Although I'm not into ocean or beachy themed porducts I loved the lavender scent. I found it a bit drying for my already super dry skin, so I wouldn't recommend this to people with drier skin. I didn't want to throw out my bar, or give it away so I decided to use it for shaving.

This is great for shaving!! Use the scrubby side first then the smooth side. I found that my skin wasn't as dry or irritated after shaving.

I've been using this soap for about 4 weeks now. I loved the scent at first, and while I still do, I feel the more you use it the more you can smell the sea salt. I think that is my only critique of the product. Other than that it's great! I'm impressed at how long it lasts. As I said, using it for 4 weeks and I still have about one third left of the bar!

Not much punch smell wise but this soap is nice and soothing on sun-worn skin and the seaweed feels nice and slick. Not a personal favorite but definately not bad. Lasts almost forever and gets you squeaky clean.

This soap is my favourite! I have bought it several times, and try to stock up during Boxing Day sales.



The smell and colour of this bar make you feel like you're emerging fresh from the ocean, which personally I find both relaxing and rejuvenating. Your skin feels clean but not stripped, and you can use the seaweed side to exfoliate a little. Plus, it looks great in the shower (some LUSH soaps, while nice, can look a bit strange to me) and the scent isn't so intense as to turn anyone off. Both my boyfriend and I love it. Just writing about it makes me want to go get clean again. If you love the ocean, this soap will revitalize you, one shower at a time!

This was the first product I bought from Lush, and it was the one that reeled me in.



I'm a woman, and I've seen a few comments suggesting that the smell is masculine. Personally, I love the citrus scent, and I use it myself daily. Thanks to the lime, it's also a natural deodorizer, which makes it perfect for the oncoming summer, especially for a bigger girl like me.



The seaweed and the sea salt really do make a difference. My skin isn't left feeling stripped, but it's sure left feeling exfoliated. It's moisturizing, too, which is a bonus to someone who suffers in dry weather!



When I first started to use it, I was disappointed that it wouldn't lather in a washcloth. At the suggestion of another reviewer, I switched to a loofah, and almost instantly, the problem has been solved! It lathers beautifully.



The only problem that I have with this soap is that the scent doesn't last long enough for me. My bathroom smells incredible after I've showered with it, but it just doesn't cling to my skin like I wish it would (which would mean that it would last right until I showered again the next morning!)



Absolutely wonderful.

i use this product in the shower and it is just sooo amazing... i love it! i dont know if it's just me but i adore the smell which i thnk is a fruitier version of earl grey tea and lavender. NO CONS :)

Such a fresh scent to use in the shower every morning! Looking forward to using this makes me get out of bed each day! The salt and sea vegetable end works great as a scrub but the rest is nice and gentle, the best of both worlds!

Before I begin, my bias is this: I ADORE beach-themed scents and bath products, so it was basically a given that I'd love this soap based on scent and look alone.



That aside, I really do love how useful this soap is! I use it most often to shave, by first rubbing (gently) the salt side all over my legs to wake up hair follicles and skin, and then I rub the smooth soap side all over them to work up a nice slick gel-like consistency. Shaving is a breeze after that! I also use this bar on the rest of my body, using the salt side to exfoliate. All in all, this feels my skin feeling really clean and smooth.



This particular soap doesn't work up to much of a lather (but my water is on the hard side, so this could have something to do with it), rather it feels almost like applying a gel to my skin! This took me by surprise, but I love it now.



Because this soap contains sea salt, which is astringent as well as exfoliating, I always moisturize after using Sea Vegetable. If you're prone to dry skin or eczema, I might suggest trying/buying only a little bit of this soap to use on your hands at first.



It really does smell very beachy, which can be a pro or a con, and I love that it's neither a floral/sweet scent (great for guys, or gals who aren't into floral scents), and that it's not overpowering. You won't find this one trailing with you throughout the day. Perfect for those who work among folks with sensitive noses, in close spaces, etc.



To those saying this doesn't last long: I cut my soap down into pieces that can be stored in a sealable soap dish. Simple, mess free, and the soap lasts way longer this way! Either don't leave your soap in the shower, or cover it up, and you should be fine.

I *LOVE* this soap. I have never met a Lush soap that I adore as much as I do this soap. It is beautiful and has the most refreshing scent. When I have it in my shower I just can't wait to get my hands on it and lather up! I make my own cold processed soaps, so I hold soaps to a very high quality standard. I approve of this one!!

I received a sample of this with my last order, and I'm really wishing I'd purchased this instead of Sexy Peel. The scent really lingers, it lathers well and it doesn't leave the squeaky skin feeling that most soaps do. I am definitely going to purchase this with my next order.

I just got this as a sample with my recent Lush order. I was eyeing it when I was deciding what to buy, but I wasn't sure about the scent, because I like some lavender products, but not others, and I didn't know about the lavender-lime combo, it seemed odd. I was happy when I saw this in the box and I tried it out first thing, and I love it. It smells great, and I like the exfoliating part of it too. It doesn't feel very moisturizing to me, but it's not drying either.

I found this soap lathers extreemly well when used with a loofa. My skin literally squeaks after I use it, and my bathroom is lightly scented for hours following a shower.I loev this product.

I LOVE Sea Vegetable. The smell is amazing- Fresh, fruity, salty, and sweet. It is also, in my opinion, Lush's most beautiful soap- A combination of teal, blue, green and black with white sprinkled on top. I used this in the shower and loved it. It didn't lather excessively, which I liked, and the salt on top stayed on but scrubbed well. The seaweed was really cool. I don't know if it did anything for my skin but it was a neat addition. Overall, try a slice, you won't regret it!

This soap smells amazing, subtle in the bar but once you're in the shower, the scent blossoms and becomes this amazingly fragrant beach memory. It doesn't lather much but I like it better that way. The only con is that, for my skin, it is rather drying. I do have dry skin, so maybe this isn't the choice soap for me but it smells so good, and I have a really good moisturizer

I originally got this soap as a sample and now...im in love. This soap smells fantastic.. like a vacation to a tropics. It smells like the ocean with lime and lavender. the seaweed on top really can exfoliate as well. I still need lotion after but that goes for any soap so I don't mind. I love this soap... i will for sure be purchasing this one forever!
