Let's face it... Not all of us crave floral or fruity scents. There are some of us who crave spicy goodness. Well this soap will end your search if that's what you seek. I've been using Red Rooster for over 6 years now and I still make sure it stays in stock in my bathroom! It smells like cinnamon and clove married a bit of orange. I highly recommend this soap if you are a fan of Karma, since it's in a similar place fragrance-wise. Not only does the smell perk you up, it's so gentle that i use it on my 4 year old son, who loves it too! This a very unique soap, and one that should definitely remain on Lush's production line.

Love it! Smell sooooo good. Bath or shower, it make me feel "happy". My only sadness come from my expectation to have the soap with the brown part on the top, cinnamon-like. But well, can do with the smell only.

I bought this online without smelling it first, and it was a big mistake. It says the scent is orange and cinnamon, but it smells like a VERY fake pumpkin scent. Honestly it smelled terrible when i first opened it, but now its gotten a bit more tolerable, but not good enough to use.

Too spicy for me... I like it, but the smell of cloves is VERY strong. My boyfriend hated it. Lathers well and is fairly moisturizing though. And it lasts about a week.

I got this as a sample in my last Lush order. It smells like fall and winter wrapped in one. The clove can be a little overpowering but I think it works favorably in this case. It lingers for quite awhile when used as a body soap. I put a slice wrapped in cheese cloth in each of my pillow cases. I fall asleep easily and wake up feeling relaxed since I did this. I just wish it was available in store rather than online in the retro section.

I got this pretty little soap as a sample in my last online order, and when I opened the packaging Oh. My. GOSH! The smell was absolutely heavenly: sweet orange and cinnamon and cloves, and it is just such a warm, bright, almost christmasy scent. Unfortunately the love affair was not to be. I found this soap to be quite drying, with little to no lather and the scent disappeared by the time I finished toweling off. Oh Lush! I so wanted this to be my new soap, but alas, it is not for we girls living in an already dry climate. I still gave it three stars however, because it looks absolutely lovely on the bathroom counter and as a hand soap it does alright (and honestly, I cannot stop picking it up and smelling it).

I have been using this soap for years! Love the smell, love the lather, how well it cleans, love how soft it makes my skin feels. It does not dry out my skin. A little goes a long way. I always pair it with anything Karma and I love the combination. Please don't ever get rid of this product from the retro line!

I'm a fan of the citrusy soaps and bought this hoping for something like that orange smiley face soap that comes in the Shiny Happy People gift box. I like cinnamon well enough, but this is just too much for my liking. So, be warned...any orange scent is completely overpowered by the cinnamon/spice.

When I first smelled the Red Rooster I was skeptical. It reminded me of a Christmas drink. But after letting it sit in my room for a few days while I finished up with another soap, the gorgeous smell started to grow on me. I finally got around to using it in the shower and absolutely love it! The smell is so good and the lather is so creamy, it feels luxurious! Although the scent didn't last long on my skin, it was worth the money just for the wake up call it gave me in the shower!

I got a small piece of this as a sample from an online order and I was disappointed to find out it's not available in stores! I love love LOVE this soap. The scent is so powerful and invigorating. It's not just cinnamon, it's so so spicy and hot. I had put it in a drawer to scent up my clothes since I only have a sliver of it, but I missed it so much in the bathroom that I brought it back! I use it as a hand soap so I can't comment on it melting too fast in the shower. My hands have never felt dry after using Red Rooster and the smell lasts on my hands for a long time. I will DEFINITELY purchase more of this when I make my next online order.

I expected this soap to be spicy and it did not let me down. The orange did not really come through in my chunk but it had a spectacular clovey scent that stayed with me for quite some time after my shower. I used up all mine and plan to order more..some for my friends and family too.
