I have 4b/c hair it is pretty thick with mostly fine-medium strands.

In order to get great results I did not follow the directions on the container. Jc at The Natural Haven did a review where she uses the Oyin method with this product (basically applying glycerin heavy product then having a shower allowing the steam to "activate" the glycerin). That is how I got the best use out of this treatment because just putting some on my hair gave it a sticky, tacky feeling. Using it after I rinsed out my conditioner and put my hair in twists worked pretty well too.

I love the ingredients and I enjoy the smell. It is a very powerful fragrance though so it might not be good for certain no perfume workplaces.

Alright, I bought this after an employee gave me a sample. I love the smell, it smells clean and healthy--not like, "Hey I've got a head full of chemicals that you can smell". I am now on my second canister.

The Trick: Is to use the right amount. Sometimes I get over zealous and put WAY too much in and the result is greasy when it dries in my semi-damp hair. When I put just the right amount for my hair--the result is fantastic(Feather Light). I have permed, mixed, black girl hair. I need ALL the moisture I can get!

I do however, mix this product with other non-Lush products.

I love that I can straighten my hair on 400 degrees and the smell still stays! It doesn't evaporate with the heat.

I bought this product after rave reviews & reccomendations from my sister. She loved it and I bought it on her word. Wrong decision. I followed the instructions and used it both on wet and dry hair. It didnt work on my curly hair :( I Love lush products and use them a lot. But this one didnt really didnt work for me. When I applied it on my wet hair after a shower, it made my hair, greasy, heavy and unmanageble. It was like bad hair gel that refused to let my hair be even after it dried. I brushed it and it still was very unmanageble. My hair was back after I washed it a day later. I am suprised that only few people share this view in the reviews. Wont be using R&B again and wont recommend to anyone having curls. Worked great for my sister who has naturally straight-wavy hair. Time and again, I have found that not all lush products work for everyone. You have to pick and choose what works best for you. Trying a sample might help.

I tried using R&B after washing and conditioning my hair but found that it left my hair a little greasy, which wasn't great because I go 2-3 days between washes. Instead, now I just shampoo my hair and use R&B as a leave-in conditioner. My hair stays soft and grease-free in between washes! I don't think I could live without it!

I use this as a finishing cream on curly hair and when I flat iron. This product gets rid of any frizz while it conditions. My hair has never felt so soft! Great product; couldn't live without it now! Thanks to the lady at lush in Dartmouth for recommending it!

I recieved a sample of this product, and I just ordered the full product the other day. Hasn't come in yet, so I'm anxiously awaiting it's arrival. This product works wonders for my hair.. most leave-ins are either too greasy or too dry, but R&B is perfect. It doesn't smell spectacular, but it doesn't smell bad either. I use it daily in combination with an argan oil which helps make it smell a bit nicer. Definitely found my go-to product for smoothing my ultra-frizzy hair.

This is a really great product. I was given a sample when buying Shine So Bright from my local Lush. I'm definitely going back for the full size because it is quite effective! I am a regular hair straightener, and my ends get fairly damaged from that. This product completely transforms the way my hair looks. The saleswoman I spoke with told me to only apply it to the ends to avoid the greasy feel, so that's what I do. It should last for a very long time as well. So glad I tried R&B, it's wonderful!

When I was first recommended this by an associate I was hesitant because of the price. While I do take care of my hair I'm lucky enough that I don't have to deal with much other than dryness and split ends. I decided to get it and used it the next morning after my shower. At first the smell was almost intolerable, it was SO strong and I have a sensitive nose. I must've applied a bit much as I found it left my hair waxy and sticky. The next morning I applied less and it really moisturized my hair making it soft and shiny. I now use it everyday after I wash my hair and before I blow dry it, it makes it feel more manageable and soft. I've noticed that split ends are noticeably reduced over time. I have long straight hair that gets oily at the roots throughout the day, so I use this on the ends only. Works great!

I absolutely love this product. It smells amazing and is extremely effective in moisturizing your hair. When I use this product all I want to do is touch my hair because it becomes so soft and silky. Its great for protecting against split ends; I use the hair dryer after applying this product and it helps tame frizz and protect the hair from heat damage. It is important to stress that you really only need a small amount; otherwise, it is easy to see how this product could be viewed as greasy. Any moisturizer applied too liberally would produce a greasy texture!

When I went to lush looking for a product to help tame my frizzy poofy hair the sales lady recommended this to me.. She tried it on my hair and I was amazed to see the results! It worked! I had beautiful smooth hair! I bought it right away! Unfortunately after bringing it home I realized I absolutely hated the smell. It is a shame because it works so well! I still use it from time to time but I just can not deal with the sent.

I've been going to Lush for over a year now and I absolutely love it! I've tried a handful of shampoos and conditioners, but R & B was my first hair treatment. I have wavy/curly hair and I find that it is fairly dry especially in the winter so I was pretty excited to try this product out.

First of all it smells fantastic! It's pretty strong when it's in the pot and when you first put it in your hair, but after a while the smell dies down so it's not so overpowering. I've never noticed a problem with it making my hair greasy, even the day after, since I was instructed to put a pea sized amount (though on some days I put a little more if I feel the need)on damp or dry hair. However, I can see how people might have that problem if they put to much so be careful.

R & B is great for dry hair, it keeps it hydrated and makes it soft. Even my boyfriend noticed a difference in my hair, especially when paired with my guilty pleasures Curly Wurly shampoo and Retread conditioner (he also loves the smell!). Another thing that's great about R & B is that even though the pot it comes in is not overly big for the price it lasts a really long time. I could see my pot lasting 6 months to even a year with daily use! All in all I would recommend this to a friend and I have in the past after she borrowed some for her dry hair!

I want to love this so bad, but I only kind of like it. It's a nice alternative to the less natural products I was using before, but it's kind of annoying. I keep thinking my hair is super greasy (even though I only put it on my ends) but it's not. Also, I have really long hair but never really had an issue with it being tangled, and yet using this, I find it is constantly getting knotted. I think I must be an exception because most people say it's good for detangling, but I think I find more time than ever before trying to comb the knots out.

My very first time at a LUSH store I got this as a sample as a recommendation from the associate who helped me. I immediately fell in love with the scent, and then I tried it on my hair and fell even more in love! I had to pick up the full-sized product, even though I've never been big on using product in my hair beyond just shampoo and conditioner. I use this every single day now, and it makes my hair feel like silk, smell like jasmine and oranges, and look frizz-free and bouncy. I love love love R&B and don't think I could live without it anymore!

I only need a dab of this stuff to rub into my hair after a shower and a dab does wonders! It leaves my hair detangled, shiney and it feels a lot healthier which is great for my curls and thick hair. If you use more than enough for your hair it leaves an awful residue though so take it easy!

Once a year treat myself to this hair mask because it's a much deserved treat for my hair and the after affects leave my hair feeling very healthy. In the winter it is a godsend for those of use who have thick, curly and dry hair that turns to straw during the winter months if we don't take care.

I, like many others, used way way too much of this the the first time, and my hair was very greasy. I have fine, shortish hair, and I still haven't quite found the perfect amount. I find that if I put it too close to the roots, it gets greasy. I like to use this product every other shower. It doesn't quite give me the results that I'm looking for. The smell is a little strong at first, but that dissipates into a pleasant aroma :)
I also find that my hair is a little dry still

This product is great stuff, I like using it after I wash my hair before I blow dry my hair then I put on a small amount right before I straighten my hair the next day. I have very dry, damaged hair so thi product really helps improve the texture of my hair, it looks healthy again when I use this product. This is a product that is very thick so I wouldnt recommened it on fine hair. If you have dry or damaged hair I think this product would work for you as it has helped my unruly hair.

Absolutely a must-have for people with mad curley hair like I do, especially in the summer! What this stuff does for frizz alone is worth the price. The fact that it makes my hair soft and shiny is an added bonus!!
