I finally found my facial soap! I'm a recent LUSH convert but hadn't found my favorite facial cleanser quite yet...until now. Queen of Hearts is simply amazing!

Everything else I've used seems to leave my face with a fresh batch of breakouts but not with Queen of Hearts soap. Right away I found this soap to be a super cleanser, taking off my makeup and leaving my skin feeling super clean and calm (I tend to have red, splotchy, angry skin after my I cleanse it). After using Queen of Hearts my skin was smooth, calm and within 24 hours it had battled all my blemishes.

Five days now (using Queen of Hearts twice a day) and I've seen a noticeable difference in my skins overall appearance - smoothing my skins surface, battling bumps and minimizing fine lines (my skin is normal–to oily and sensitive).

Queen of Hearts has a very subtle but lovely rose scent (like smelling a single rose!) and its consistency is denser - I love using this soap with a cleansing facial brush.

For anyone who has had a difficult time finding a LUSH cleanser that's just right for them – I absolutely recommend this soap.

Side note: I just discovered that you can't purchase this soap in store and it's precariously positioned as a 'Retro' product – which means that's not a part of the core product line. EEEK!

This is the best Lush cleanser! It's the only facial soap I've tried that isn't drying or too oily, and the faint smell of roses is lovely!. Highly recommended for mixed skin.

I never liked any of lush's cleansers until I tried this one. The scent is very faint but it cleans my normal skin very effectively. A must.

I love almost any Lush product I've tried and this is certainly the first negative review I've written. I'm sorry, Lush, but it seems like you guys didn't even try on this one. There's no scent at all, it doesn't lather one bit, and it crumbles easily to fall down the drain. The only upside is that it is a good moisturizer but I would certainly never buy or use this product again.

The skin on my chest and back is extremely prone to horrid breakouts and any other soap bars I've tried have cursed me to turtle neck sweaters. I thought I was doomed to hiding my skin forever. A friend, and huge LUSH junkie, suggested this soap from your retro line when I told her about my problem. I was doubtful, but after reading reviews on how gentle and effective it was I knew it was worth a shot.



After 2 weeks of using this soap I've had NO flare ups! My skin is doing so much better! My chest and back is clear and smooth while my usually dry arms are soft and supple. The soap's scent is also heavenly, though it doesn't seem to last very long once I'm done my shower. I have absolutely no quarrels with this soap. Bluntly put this is one of the best products I have ever used on my skin. DEFIANTLY will be buying more once I run out! Thank you again for this amazing product LUSH! <3

This queen has definitely captured my heart!



I had tried all of Lush's current facial cleanser line, and was disappointed when all of them either made me break out, or dried my skin out completely. I don't normally have dry or oily skin, but do need to wash my face every day or two to clean my makeup and prevent blackheads. Queen of Hearts simply and effectively cleans my skin and takes off the modest makeup I wear, without leaving me feeling as though I have no oils on my face! I keep the soap in a body butter tin and then use a small facial brush to lather the soap up (quite a soft, luxurious lather). The smell is lovely, and stays on my skin for a little while afterward!

I have oily skin and my face tend to have breakouts and acne (due to my stressful job). I've been using all kind of face cleanser from different stores, as well as cleansers from Lush (angels on bare skin, herbelism) and none of them really work that well on me, the acne keep coming back, my face's just not willing to co-operate. I read some review of Queen of hearts on the Lush site and decided to try it out. It is SO GOOD! the acne is gone and my break outs are under control. I find that angels on bare skin and herbelism doesn't really control my oily skin and that my skin will get oily after a few hours. Queens of hearts leave my skin not too oily (a little dry but it's ok, I rather have that than oily). On top of that the acne on my arms seems to be reduced as well. This is really good!! try it!

This is an amazing soap. I tried a LOT of lush face soaps (FF, Coalface, AOBS, Herbalism...) and nothing worked as well as this. It doesn't dry out my skin, hasn't made me breakout, and although I usually don't like roses, I am in love with this smell. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

I'm an oily/acne prone gal but love this soap! It doesn't dry out my skin nor leave it greasy and smells wonderful. I keep it out of the direct spray of the shower and it has lasted me since early December, washing my face twice a day, and I still have at least 3/4 of the bar left! This soap is very much worth the money I spent. It's important to me to use natural products and I definetly recommend this soap.

This doesn't dry my face out as much as Coalface and Fresh Farmacy do. It's cheaper than those cleansers, too. I cut this soap in two and gave half to my mom, and she also likes it as a facial soap.
