Phoenix Rising

I've tried a few bath bombs so far and they've all been sort of a disappointment, but this one absolutely blew me away!

The smell is absolutely amazing, I was worried it would be too cinnamon-y but it actually smelled more like apple pie than anything; the smell lingered on my body for a long time after I got out of the bath! It was a nice surprise to see the royal purple and gold give way to swirls of green and my bath was dyed a deep purple. And the best part was afterwards my skin was super moisturized.

I was a little worried about staining, as many of the reviewers had issues, but I only noticed a few pink spots here and there from the little bits the broke off of the bomb got pushed on the sides of the tub by my body and they wiped right off.

All in all this is definitely one of my absolute favorite Lush products so far, and I will definitely purchase many more in the future!

When I used this bath bomb, I couldn't just let it sit there and wait for it to rise - I had to play with it! As a result, the very tips of my fingers and under my nails were slightly dyed pink. The bathtub, however brightly pink the bathwater was, remained thankfully undyed.

I left the bath smelling wonderfully like apple pie and feeling relaxed. My only con was how oily I felt afterward! It made my skin feel great and soft in the bath, but once I toweled off it felt like I was covered in a slick substance that just didn't want to absorb! Slightly unpleasant end to an overall happy bath.

I used this product on its own in the bath since it moisturizes, has a powerful but not overwhelming smell that lasts, and a great colour for the water all on its own.

The smell lasted for my entire bath, which lasted an hour because I read. The colour was a beautiful dark purple with sprinkles of glitter throughout. There wasn't so much glitter that it was crazy so I didn't see too much glitter on my skin once I got out.

This bath bomb is great if you love So White and Cinders around Christmas time, it's like an all-year-round mixture of the two.

Phoenix Rising is definitely in my top 5 all time favorite Lush bath bombs! One of my long time favorites as well.
JUST LOOK AT IT! It caught my eye before even reading the name- the gorgeous purple and golden dust, it looks like something only someone magical could conjure up- and then the name pulled me in! I will fall in love with anything that is whimsical, fancy free, bewitching and glittery!
Pop it in the bath and this product will unleash a uplifting and relaxing scent, of spiced apples, cinnamon, and the perfect balance of creamy bright orange. As your bath water turns a phenomenal shade of royal purple, you will really start to enjoy the mystical bursts of gold swirls that trace their way around the tub. A total alluring experiance in general, and you are left at the end of the show with a little cinnamon stick! I find the jajoba oil and cocoa butter in this to be a perfect mix, as my skin is super dry, and especially during the winter where I love these muskier scents, it really helps me out! THOUGH, I would reccomend this as a bath treat ALL year long.
All in all, this is complete sorcery: a beautiful bath bomb!!!

The best part of it is watching the bath bomb unravel and reveal its different layers. The moment I stepped out of this experience, I felt completely moisturized from head to toe.

Your bath water will turn into a beauuuutiful shade of purple, followed by swirls of green and blue.

**if you have very pale skin-be aware that the purple colour does stain a bit, but it's only temporary and it's easy to scrub off**

This bath bomb sinks in your tub emitting a beautiful shimmering purple color that fills your bath. It smells spicy and warm. I used the whole bath bomb but there was enough for two baths. It fizzed for a long time and I did not want to get out of the tub!

Great for winter time, has a nice cinnamon smell.I would say to recommend this product for use with bathtub only.

This isn't a con - but if you are very sensitive to strong scents, this may not be the bomb for you.

I was excited to use this bath bomb as it smelled sooooo good and looked soooooo pretty! Well, I popped into my full bath, and though it did take a long time to completely melt into the water, it left the water a beautiful shimmery purple colour. The smell is soooo good as well, if you like apple cinnamon. It's just perfect. BUT! Even being darker skinned, I found myself a little more purple after climbing out of the tub. My white towel was covered in purple after towelling dry, and even AFTER all that.....the next morning, when I took off my pajama shirt and pants, I noticed purple ALL OVER when I turned them inside out. There is just waaaay too much dye in this product. That is really the only thing against this bath bomb, but it's a big deal. If you took a bath and them hopped into a white shirt to go out, I'm pretty sure you'd be rubbing off on it noticeably. So...maybe take a shower after taking a bath with this bomb?

I haven't tried many bath bombs yet, but so far this is my favourite!
It's so much fun to use, I love the rich magenta colour it turned the water to and the fizzing was really cool. The scent is really refreshing...it IS a little strong, but not overpoweringly so.

I only had one problem with it: it left some residue on my skin which started to irritate it almost right away, so I had to wash again right after.

Love this one! One of my favourites! Great smell, could lay in there for hours!

Bathing with Phoenix Rising is like conjuring up a spell for beauty and love. This mystical creature spins around under the water, exploding with swirls of purple and gold. The smell of cinnamon fills the air and warms your heart. Truly the most magical bath bomb around!

this is a great bath bomb, i love the smell and it turns the water a beautiful colour, my husband loves the spicy apple scent and it really calms him in the evening, and eases his sore feet after a long hard day.

Enjoyed the smell of this bath bomb. Upon putting it into my bathtub, the color was quite concentrated. It did stain my bath tub and my hands, but was very easy to scrub off.

It was a beautiful smell and color but it made my skin SO greasy! Not only that, it took a really long time to dissolve. It made my water look dirty, as if I hadn't bathed in days. I had high hopes for this bath bomb and sadly, it fell flat.

Like other Lushies I consider myself well versed in the bath bomb world. I have used probably every bath bomb that is regularly in stores and most seasonal bath bombs. This is the first one I have felt a strong need to write a review for. It left my skin soft for days! Even after showering again, I do not know what in it did the trick but that is easily the softest my skin has ever felt! It is also one of the nicest smelling bath bombs I have ever used! It will be a big regular for for me for the fall because the smell makes me think of the September to December holidays.

I love me a relaxing bath so I treat myself to some LUSH bath bombs every once in a while. I loved the colour of this one and the scent was awesome! I was surprised that once this was half-way dissolved all of a sudden a burst of green foam came from the inside and I could really smell the green apple scent, so much fun! Made the water a deep purple colour and my skin feel great, but be warned: if you hold onto it while it dissolves it will stain your fingers purple! However it didn't seem to leave any stains on my bath tub.

I don't know where to start with this bath bomb. I literally just used it a few minutes ago and had to hop online to write a review.
It smells wonderful. It took a bit of getting used to at first, though. I got this bath bomb as a birthday gift and it was never something I would have purchased for myself, so I was glad to get it as a gift. It has a nice, uplifting spicy scent that I would say you have to enjoy in order to use it because it lingers big time on your skin. Also, I was shocked at how much cocoa/shea butter I noticed sitting on the top of my water. I used it to rub all over my body in the bath and I feel like I just put a really nice, thick lotion on. Probably the most moisturizing bath product I've used to date. My skin is incredibly soft. I'm surprised the fact that it's so softening isn't part of Lush's description or many of the reviews.
The only drawback was that it left a purple ring on my tub and some faint purple marks on my towel, but I doubt it's anything that wouldn't come out.
I'm definitely repurchasing this bath bomb. I absolutely loved it.
