I have used this conditioner two time once today and once 3 days ago and I am very happy with it. I see and feel a difference in my hair its way more bouncy and more shine and looks a lot more healthy .I have the small one. I got this to see if I would like it. I am going to order the big one next !I use cynthia sylvia stout shampoo with okra conditioner . I leave the conditioner in my hair for 5 minutes while im in the shower . IM VERY HAPPY AND SO IS MY HAIRS :))

The first thing I noticed about Okra was the knockout smell. It smells great in the bottle but light on your hair, which is excellent for me. The next thing I noticed is that even though it doesn't feel the same as other conditioners I've used, it works amazingly well! My dry, heat-styled daily hair was soft and smooth after I used this. A little goes a long way with this great conditioner!

I have very thick, coarse and wavy hair, and even though my hair is short, i found that i needed to use a lot of this conditioner to get it all over my head. However, it smells SOOO good and the scent lasts on your hair even after using other products on it.

Nothing has ever worked so well on my curly mane! I'm a total convert! Anyone who wants something thicker than Coolaulin and less intense than Retread NEEDS this product! My hair has fewer tangles now and definitely feels like silk!

This, in combination with Gentle Lentil, is my new daily hair regime. My hair is fine and wavy and tends to frizz up. It also usually gets pretty oily at the roots after 1 day.



The combo of Okra and Gentle Lentil lets me wash my hair only every 3 days since it doesn't get oily, and my hair is really happier for it. It also cuts down on frizz, and I like the scent.



I think people might find it feels a bit light and runny, but it's soooo effective!

I purchased this by the product description and other reviewer comments, thinking that it would be an effective daily or semi-daily product for my thick, black hair that is oily at the roots, dry at the ends, and tends to get a bit frizzy.



It is extraordinarily lighter in effect than I had hoped for. When I massage it into my scalp, it felt like there was almost nothing in my hair. My usual routine is to wash, condition, leave in for approximately a minute, comb through, then rinse. Combing through my hair while using this conditioner was almost as difficult as combing through wet, unadulterated hair. I didn't find that it helped with my slight dandruff problem or overall scalp health either.



I wouldn't purchase this again for its ineffectiveness on my typical East Asian hair.

The boiled Okra scent took a little while to get used to, but never mind that: this is one serious hair conditioner. I'm impressed. I would recommend this for thick, dry, and wavy/curly hair. It's probably too heavy to use on thin hair.

I really dislike this product actually, I mean, it smells nice, (DONT FORGET TO SHAKE IT BEFORE U USE IT, OR IT'LL SMELL REALLY STRANGE & HORRIBLE) but i really dont think it is moisturizing, or good for damaged/ over-processed hair...

I am soooo pleased with this conditioner. I have long straight hair that tangles very easily and tends to be dry at the ends and greasy at the roots. This product made my hair much smoother and really cut down on the tangling. After one use my hair already felt healthier. I combined this product with reincarnate and love the results.

Bad first impression, too thin of a liquid to effectively apply. The scent is soo subtle that it's best appreciated with another white, earthly shampoo - Gentle Lentle, they should be sold together. Thick soft lather and creamy rosemary nettle scents - LOVELY.

The rosemary and lavender oils are the predominant smell in this conditioner--bear that in mind if you're considering ordering Okra for the first time. That being said, the scent doesn't hang around long, but the conditioning does--light but effective, on par with Veganese or Coolaulin. I paired this with Washday Greens and they compliment each other wonderfully.

This left my hair very smooth and shiney. I have very fine, rather straight hair that wants to frizz when I blow it dry. If you're looking for volume, you might be disappointed, but if you want well behaved body with less frizzies, you'll love this one! Smells a bit like Wicci or Sore Labours massage bar, but fragrance is very gentle; doesn't really linger. Performance-wise, my fav of all the conditioners!
