This product was a HUGE splurge for me but I wasn't disappointed. The smell is so amazing it is fresh and you can really smell the lime and sea salt it is like a margarita for your face! It is beautiful when you first open your little black pot and find the layer of blue and sea salt. My skin felt clean and refreshed and I didn't get that tight feeling after using it. I will probably only use this once or twice a week but I want to use it everyday!

I originally was in love with Rub Rub Rub shower scrub but I tried this in store and loved it. Well, I still had a brand new tub of the Rub at home so I didn't get ocean salt that round. I ordered it a few weeks ago to try it as a face wash and body wash and at first I was skeptical about it working for my face. Since popcorn scrub went away I have been having issues finding a replacement but this is officially it.

It's AMAZING. It smells great, isn't as abrasive as I thought it would be and even my redneck boyfriend likes it!! That sure says something. It works wonders on his acne prone skin and wonders on my normal-dry skin. This product is my new scrub/face wash staple in my shower. It's a must have. It may seem really, really expensive but trust me, it goes a long way and it's well worth it. One tub of my rub rub lasted me 3 months or so and that was far thinner than ocean salt.

I have used almost everything to clear my skin. EVERYTHING. Then I got my hands on this. It makes me look smooth, glowy, even toned.

I was scared it would make me break out since I have had a problem with a Lush face wash in the past (Herbalism), but this is amazing. I use it with the Cupcake face mask and my skin has never looked better.

I use ocean salt in combination with coal face every other day. I love ocean salt because it is gentle on my sensitive skin but is more thorough and completely zaps any acne I have. The scrubbiness evens out the feel of my skin as well and keeps it soft and smooth.
I remember running out and being without it for a week. All the breakouts started to slowly come back and the roughness as well. I never want to be without ocean salt again!

This product smells great and exfoliates like a dream. My only complaint is that a little does NOT go a long way, I have to use a lot to get my whole body. With the price tag this carries I will probably just be using it to treat myself. Overall it does exactly what it says and well! My only complaint is the price tag.

I use it every morning in the shower on my very oily skin and it soaks up the unwanted grease. It doesn't dry my complexion out, and has a fresh sea scent. I always have this in my bathroom. Glad I bought the big black pot my first time trying it!

Once I have my face covered with this product, I rub my feet with my hands to get rid of the leftover product. My feel are nice & soft after. It helps take the rough dead spinoff my feet as well as my face.

I received a little sample of this product and decided to give it a whirl. I'm in LOVE. I have fairly sensitive skin that is both allergic and prone to eczema. I have generally lovely skin but at times I'd describe it as congested. Because of all the lotions and potions I have to use to treat flair ups I end up with, what seems like, a mine field of blackheads. I've used a small amount (maybe about the size of a quarter at the biggest) every 2nd day for a week and my skin feels wonderful. I'm breaking out a little bit but in a good way. My pores are opening up, my skins feels really clean, it doesn't seem to be too abrasive. This is one product that will be a mainstay in my regime.

I use the scrub in the shower every other day and just love it!! A teaspoon sized amount will cover your face and neck nicely. I then follow up with a small amount of cleanser to remove any excess residue. The scrub granules are bigger than some of the more sandy scrubs that I've used, but I think this one is more gentle on the skin and people would find it non-irritating. The smell of the lime and vodka is so fresh and lively and a great pick-me-up in the morning.

I remember when I first used this product, it smelled the way I would imagine the smell of rainfall in heaven to be. WOW! is all I can say. When I use this product, it makes my entire bathroom smell fresh and crisp, like a cross between the early morning dew in spring and a mojito. The ingredients are gentle and moisturising on the skin and it can be used every day as I do.

I bought this product in December after I received money for Christmas. I had wanted to try LUSH for ages and was interested in using an exfoliant. I did try the product in store on my hands and it felt great, and it looked like it did the job. I bought the bigger size thinking I would be able to use it and that it wouldn't go to waste, but I was wrong.

It felt great using it on my face at first, I didn't rub too harshly because I have combo skin and it's sensitive too. But I noticed that I was breaking out along my jaw line, and like another customer said, it was the big "zits" versus small breakouts. I decided to not use it on my face anymore and used it only as a body scrub but I even broke out along my shoulders (gross, I know) and gave me irritated skin.

Overall, I do not recommend this product to anyone who has combination or oily skin. It was a waste of money.

Favourite Lush product!

I have a dry t-zone, and sensitive skin and Ocean Salt was exactly what I was looking for to get rid of the dry flaky skin on my nose. Before this product I would use a micro-bead cleanser, and scrub it off with one of those coarse gloves you're supposed to use on your body, in order to get the dead skin off my face; but Ocean Salt replaces that routine now.

Also, good for those who get the occasional break-out. I use to get break-outs one after another like clock-work, but have not had ANY since using Ocean Salt

I use it every couple of days, and follow with Celestial moisturizer and it leaves my dry skin feeling smooth and hydrated.

I bought this for myself initially but my husband tried it and is now completely converted. His only question was does it come in a bigger container. I have had some unevenen skin tone issues and some ingrown whiskers (ah the joys of aging) and this product has been an absolute revelation. I love that it's a scrub but is still so moisturizing but nonetheless rinses away clean. Thanks Lush.

I bought Ocean Salt after hearing so many reviews on it and I'm so glad I did. It smells amazing and makes my skin feel so soft and incredible once I'm done using it. The only thing I dislike is when I run out of product! I've never felt like Ocean Salt is too harsh for my skin. My favourite face exfoliator!!!

The price is a little scary, but it's worth it! Tried it in-store and it made my skin SO soft, I was sold. So use it on your face and it'll litterally make you glow - it pulls out all the bad stuff and makes you beautiful. Or use it on your body and you will feel amazing. Teeny tiny con is that it'll burn a little if you have super sensitive or irritated skin. It will last a while if you use it once a week like I do, and really once a week is all you need.

I purchased this product mostly because i saw a lot of great reviews on it, and it is a very popular product, so i thoght i would try it.

When i got home i tryed it out right away and it felt very abrasive. The smell is like it describes: vodka, avocado, coconut, and of course salt. A lot of people dont like the smell, but i like it. I gave it 4 stars because it is a little bit abrasive on the skin, but that is just a personal opinion. i can not use this on my face, but i can use it on my body. i would not reccomend this for people with sensitive skin.

After i washed it off, i could feel it exfoiliating my face, and it left my skin super soft, and glowing.

It is a very awesome prouduct, but i would not repurchase it again because i have sensitive skin, although i would like it for my body but it is too expensive for everyday use.

I received this as a present for Christmas time and I tried it out the first day I unwrapped it and I absolutely love it! It has taken away the dull look my skin normally wears and it made my skin soooo soft.
I also reallyyyy enjoy the smell of this product.

Amazing exfoliant, but I can really smell the vodka above anything else! Kinda nasty..
Would still recommend for exfoliant use and for blackhead clearing.
