After suffering an illness that left me with Alapecia, I lost 50% of my hair volumn. I was very interested in this shampoo. I noticed after using that my hair when brushing it was not coming out in clumps anymore.. then I stop using it I really noticed a difference in my hair, its not so shiny, in good condition. I truly love this shampoo not only for smell and condition of my hair but for helping keep the hair I have :) thank you Lush!!!!

So my mom uses this shampoo bar (not me) but we had walked into the store and bought 4 different kinds for me, my mom and my two sisters cause we all have different hair types.
Anyways, my moms hair is very thin and gets extremely oily the next day despite what type of shampoo she uses.
This is the only shampoo where I've noticed a difference. Her hair looks softer, has a bit more of height to it and she says that the oily-ness has definitely tamed itself in that department. Over-all great product!

I purchased this product from LUSH on my first order. While I like all the products I purchased, this is my favourite! I have never used dry shampoo before and I was shocked by the lather. It smells great and it does a wonderful job on my hair. I have straight hair but often use a straightener to get rid of fuzzy hair on top. With this I don't need to. After 3 days my husband said, your hair looks like a shampoo commerical. On top of that, I am going on 6 weeks and have what looks to be about a third still left and I use the product everyday. Great value for the price! Thanks LUSH!!

I have used many Lush products but I am most impressed with this wonderful little red shammy! I bought this as a gift to my Auntie whose hair was very slow growing and thin after she lost it all to cancer treatment. I had tears in my eyes when she phoned me six weeks later and said everyone was noticing a huge difference in the length and health of her hair and she didn't have to wear caps and scarfs anymore - not even her wig. I use this product as well and my hair was healthier, shinier and stronger than ever before (and I swim a lot so my hair takes a beating)

Was surprise about how much lather I get for a little scrub on it! Smell good and let my hair so light! I had to use conditioner for years for have nice hair but after 3 shampoo with this, no more conditioner! Hair is perfect! Spicy smell wake me up and this product make the morning shower a real pleasure!

I have very oily hair and I have to wash it everyday unless I dont want to tie it up bc of how oily it is. Most shampoos for oily hair do nothing to help this but this one allows me to go almost 2 days without having my hair limp and oily. It smells great (if you like cinnamon) and leaves my hair very shiny and straight! Sometimes it looks like Ive used a flat iron so if thats the look you like then go w this bar!

I have not tried the other shampoo bars but the smell of this one is by far my favorite one. It has a nice cinnamon smell to it. I use to loose a lot of hair but ever since i have been using this i have been loosing very little. Love the smell and how clean my hair feel. Does dry the hair so a conditioner should be used.

I was a little on the fence about trying a solid shampoo bar as I'm used to using liquid shampoos and I can't believe I waited so long to try a LUSH shampoo! My hair hasn't finished drying yet but I can already feel a difference! My hair feels a lot cleaner, my scalp feels wonderful and refreshed, and its super easy to use! I just stroked my hair a few times root to tip with it and began to lather. I enjoy a shampoo that lathers up a lot, and this one does lather, but not as much as I usually like but, that will never be a deal breaker with this shampoo! My only con is that my tips are rather brittle from lots of bleaching and dying my hair, so I wasn't impressed when I was in the shower after using it and it almost felt drying/tangly, but once I got out of the shower and brushed it out it was wonderful! I also used Jungle solid conditioner with NEW and my hair smells soooo wonderful :)

My dad was the first to start using this shampoo bar after I brought it up to my mom and how I wanted to use it to help grow out my hair. He has been using it for a year+ now. He was bald and shiny on the top of his head and though he is still quite bald, he has fuzz on the top of his head now and some of his thin hairs have grown in a little thicker.
I'm on my second bar now because I want to grow my hair out really long. I never notice the growth myself but people always tell me that my hair seems to be growing really quickly.
I've gotten two of my guy friends on it too, they are concerned about balding and they both really enjoy using it, they aren't going bald though so it is hard to tell the results.

I am not that big of a fan with the other solid shampoos, but I had to try this one because I loved the smell. My first use was not that great... It was harsh and sticky and the cinnamon smell was too over powering. But the second time I was like WOW OH WOW! This stuff is amazing! It lathered really well and didnt do any damage. I definatley got to bak and stock up on these wonders!

My hair's been prone to coming out for the last few months, probably due to stress. Not in a horrifying way, but I regularly find 10 or 20 hairs in the brush after brushing.
My hair's not dyed or treated, and I only use natural (hippie like) things to wash with, so it's not damaged otherwise.
Anyway - I recently found out about the New! solid shampoo, and thought it would be worth a try. Nothing else has helped. I just tried it, and HOORAY - only one hair in my brush, instead of a million! Holy moly! Not only that, but it smells really good, without being a strong smell. Lovely stuff!! Thanks, Lush! <3

I developed a lazy scalp once I went back to chemically relaxing my hair and after a friend attributed her tremendous hair growth to this shampoo I gave it a try.

I do not lose as much hair anymore and my hair feels light after washing. I do not normally use a lot of product in my hair so the deep clean this shampoo provides makes my hair feel terribly dry and "squeaky" clean in the shower. I definitely have to use a richer conditioner but for the benefits I have already experienced I would continue using it to see how else my hair can improve. I've had it for about 2 weeks now using it every 3-4 days.

It smells like Big Red chewing gum but on me the scent does not linger.

I love love love! Solid shampoos! Biggest perk with any solid shampoo iS the lack of bottles that can, and will, fall over. Which also equals less stuff in the landfills, an more space in the bathroom.

This shampoo is great if you find you have been using alot of really heavy products or just switching over from a cheaper shampoo and conditioner. I found it really helped strip away the heavy gross product build up and made it feel healthy again. Smells pretty yummy too, and stucks with the hair for a bit.

The biggest bummer about this solid shampoo is that it can dry your hair out! I find I produce enough oils in my hair during the summer that im okay to just wash an go, no conditioner needed. But in the winter I definately need that extra bit of help. So I you have dry and/or damaged hair stay clear of this one! The smell can be a little much to, so be very sure you like the smell because it is STRONG!



Final statement is that it's great for those who have normal to oily hair it's absoluty awesome! And if you find it a little too drying (winter months) just grab a little conditioner to help even it out.

I have hyper thyroid so my hair is oily and dry AT THE SAME TIME! so my hair is really thin and it wont grow a inch, after i started using this my hair was luscious, soft shiny and finally long! my hair is now 6 inches below my shoulder blades, NOW THATS PROOF!

I have always had oily hair. I also started losing my hair due to a hormone imbalance after having an ovary removed. With already oily, and now thinning hair: I was feeling like a complete wreck.



I adore this solid shampoo. My hair at the roots is nice and clean all day. I can even go 30 hours without washing my hair and it still looks good.



However, it dries out the ends of my hair. I need to pair it with a good conditioner. But it solved so many confidence issues I had with the oil.



This is never leaving my shower!

This product is really great! i've never seen my hair this healthy and long. The product also makes your hairs growth speed increase! It's lovely the smell is great! and it really perfumes your hair for a long-lasting smell.

I've been searching for healthy hair products for my mixed-race hair and this works. I have to pair it with a cheap pharmacy conditioner but it works and its healthy. WARNING: do not get it into your eyes! I got it in my eyes about 6 hours ago and it still hurts. BE CAREFUL!! Makes me wonder what its doing to my hair.

This was highly recommended to me by one of lush staffs after explaining my greasy scalp condition. I was very hesitant to use soap on my hair because it is way too dry. I gave in and wanted to see change very much but just on the first wash my hair was dry as hay. After a couple of months my hair has never been dryer even after a whole glob of conditioner during every wash. I lather enough just to cover my scalp. Before using this soap my hair was never dry in any weather, never this dry at least. How do I put it.. my hair has not been this dry in its entire life. So even if your hair is so greasy don't come close to this one.
