Love mud flats. It has such gentle exfoliation properties. The lemon smell is pleasant on the senses. One suggestion, which I use myself, cut your bar up in smaller pieces and store the remainder in the fridge to prevent melting and promote freshness.

Just used my mud flats for the first time today and: HOLY SMOKES!! My skin has never felt so soft and smooth after a shower! I found it had just the right amount of exfoliant for my skin, which is rather sensitive and gets red very easily. I personally find the smell to be delightful. So much so that I left the container open on the counter, so now everytime I go near the bathroom, I smell the lovely scent! :) Please don't ever take mud flats away! I never thought i'd find one soap that does it all, but this is definitely it!!

I ordered this upon reading a bunch of reviews, and I have to say it worked really well. At first I was afraid that my skin would react badly to the ingredients, but thank god - there were no extra breakouts! It cleared my skin nicely and seemed to brighten it. I can't get enough of the smell as well, I could eat it!

I started using Mud Flats and it has cleared up my body acne really well. It really gets you clean there is not alot of lather which is nice. I just feel so relaxed after useing it.

I tried this soap awhile ago, specifically because I had acne. However, I found that it didn't work at all. In addition, I found that the soap smelled like pizza sauce. Not a bad thing entirely, but I don't exactly want a shower to make me feel hungry. This soap also requires a LOT of clean-up afterwards as it does melt quite quickly and can even leave brown streaks on your skin if you don't wash it off well enough. Not worth it in my opinion.

The thing about Mud flats is that, well, it does what it's supposed to do. Great soap to ex foliate when you're a bit spotty, but rather abrasive for an everyday use. It smells so nice, I wish I could use it every day!

I am an online shopper with Lush, the closes store is 8 hrs away. So when i choose to buy a product i pray like crazy that I'll like it. This was not a easy purchase for me as the reviews seemed kind of mixed, but i thought what the hell. I am so happy i did, my back has lately decided to break out which was so annoying especially in the summer. Within the first week I noticed my breakouts were calmed and less painful. Within two weeks I noticed my back was clearing up nicely. The soap is very soft so i see how it would melt quickly if treated like a regular soap. It comes in a little plastic tub, which is great for storage, i also store the tub in my fridge to prevent it from melting as well. I only use this soap on my back (which is my problem area). A little goes a long way for me, a few rubs on my back and it lathers like crazy. I bought this soap about a month ago and i still have most of it left. I enjoy the smell a lot, it's like a nice herbal lemony smell. I will definately be buying this soap for life.

I recieved a chunk of Mud Flats as a sample and was impressed. The bar is quite soft, but i like it that way! It is very creamy and moisturising, and works great on my hands. The smell is not bad... very herbal and earthy... I mean, I wouldn't want people to sniff me and smell it, but its nice as you are using it. I also find it lovely and purifying on sore, dirty feet after a long day in the garden! Overall, a good product. I don't think I'll be buying more, as there are things from lush i'd rather buy, but it is still quite nice.

I got this as a free sample in my last order. I used it today and I was expecting something more along the line of the Tramp smell for outdoorsiness. It seemed to clean well but the lime (fruit) smell wasn't pleasant to me.

Although oddly medicinal smelling, Mud Flats is nothing short of a miracle. It took only one shower to realize how beautifully moisturizing and alive this soap made my skin feel. Just like a spa experience, but a lot more affordable! I will use this soap forever!

I highly recommended this soap to any acne sufferer simply for the reason that it works to clear acne. It is the only thing that worked to clear up my skin both face and body. This is after throwing down tons of $$ for all the latest and greatest acne medications and treatments none of which lived up to thier hype. Seriously, if you have acne and / or oily skin use this soap! You will not regret it. You do need to use a moisturizer with this one though as its not very moisturizing on its own.

I was expecting a more solid soap, but I still like this. It smells like an earthy combo of mud, salt, and lemons. I just wish it would last longer and that I didn't have to clean the bathtub after using it.

This soap is great! I first used it as a sample and to be quite honest, I didn't really like it at first. It sort of grew on me after a few showers...I then decided to purchase an actual chunk of it. I really like the unusual scent it leaves, sort of like rosemary/lavender/sage...it leaves your skin with a detoxified, tingly clean feeling. Thumbs up.

This soap is overall, not my favorite in scent (although I can't knock the scent, in itself, it is fantastic, if you like earthy, medicinal fragrances, which I do), but this soap sofar is the most practical soap I've used from Lush, in that it lasts a while and I can used it for everything. It doesn't dry out my skin, I can use it as a face mask, and is also good as a mild exfolient, while still being a very smooth and creamy soap (due to the mud). It is also the most consistent soap out of all the other Lush soaps I've tried, as it doesn't get gross or slimy if you accidently leave it in water after use, and doen't get scratchy when it wears down, as I find other Lush soaps start off creamy, and then get really bumpy and scratchy when the bar erodes. I also don't have to worry about a twig or leaf or other misclaeneous item going down the drain as with other products. It is the perfect spa solution, is exotic, while being a practical soap!

This soap smells AMAZING and lathers well. After buying so many fruity, feminine soaps, my boyfriend was so relieved to have a "manly" soap in the house!



But I had 2 problems; 1. The soap doesn't last very long and 2. I had to really, really carefully rinse off because I did notice a little residual mud on my skin. Nothing that was too troublesome, but still... I imagine that for guys with hairy legs this problem would be worse since the mud could stay in the hair, however I've had no complaints so far.



All in all, this soap is great! I love the scent, the simple appearance and the amazing lather! I'll be buying more of this one.

I am experimenting, trying to find the soap my skin likes best.



So far, mud flats is not bad. Makes me feel very clean. The smell is very strong, medicinal in a way... and lingers on my skin nicely. I haven't decided if its moisturizing or not yet. Its certainly not agrivating my skin yet and thats nice. I have such dry skin that finding something to make me squeaky clean yet moistirizing is difficult. I am going to continue using this product till I run out of my 100 g and enjoy it.

I couldn't believe how good this soap smelled. I don't even like calling it soap...it's too good for that!

My boyfriend and I both use it to no mercy... he shaves his head, and found it wonderful for moisturizing and cleansing his scalp!

My skin is so silky soft and smells amazing because of this soap. I'd recommend this to anyone!!

and that totally surprised me. i took my ex-bo to the local lush store, and he picked out a piece. i asked him the next day how it went, and he loved it, he mentioned that the smell is quite potent for him, but he is very impressed with his first bar of lush soap! women, even the boys will enjoy!
