I tried this as a sample with my recent LUSH order. I must say it is very mositurizing compared with other soaps from LUSH. I was surprised at the softness of my skin after just using as a regular soap. The only thing is it didn't really have a smell. I must not have gotten a vry strong batch. I couldn't smell any cirtus - just bland. I'd be willing to try it again once my other soaps have started to disappear. Maybe the full size is better than just a sample. Great soap either way.

After trying so many exotic, gorgeous Lush soaps, I have to say that I was a little disappointed when I received this as a present. The look and scent were so... ordinary... And with a name like Milky Bar, I figured that this one would either lather up a creamy storm, or not at all, and only make a "cleansing milk".
I was happy that this soap lathered similarly to any normal non-Lush soap, but still... I wouldn't say that it was particularly cleansing or gentle or moisturizing. And for the price paid, I wouldn't buy a bar, there are non-Lush soaps that do the same for much less.
There are a couple of good points about this soap; the bar lasts forever, and it smells like Yakult, which I love. However, that's not enough to convert me. Sorry!

At first this soap did not catch my eyes because of its mild smell and ordinary appearance. However, after I tried it once, I totally fell in love with it!! It lathers well and cleans my skin thoroughly without leaving a dried-out feeling! My skin feels so clean, smooth, and soft after using it. Moistures better than any body washes I used before! Best for winter days. Strongly recommend it to everyone!

The bar I received had an identical scent to Aquamarina. Exactly. The scent of seaweed is horrible when it remains on the skin after showering.

After bringing this back to Retro, they are killing me by getting rid of it again!!!! So ALL of my favs they have gotten rid of - Bathos, Auntie Pamela, Hot Milk, Ma Bar, Heavenilli, Mange Bar, All the lovely scents that are scrumptious and mild are all gone!

I just came back from vacation in the caribbean so my skin is burnt in some spots, rough, dry and itchy. I got a sample of the Milky bar and thought it would be a good time to try it.
I LOVED the fragrance of the soap. It wasn't overpowering - just enough to notice but not overpower.
My skin now feels soft, smooth, moisturized and that annoying itch is gone!

Love this! But i hate that it's only available online. It's best not to leave it in the shower because it will melt fast. Makes skin nice and soft and great for shaving your legs with! It's a great soap to get a bath with before bed time because you will wake up still smelling sweet! I love using this with Charity Pot cream!

I have been buying this - my absolute favorite Lush item - from the UK for the last couple of years. I have SO much of it that the recycable bags are starting to disappear! My whole family uses it, and my 2 teenagers and my husband smell fantastic! I find it and Auntie Pamela to have the best fragrances - bar none - at Lush. THANKYOU LUSH - Don't let them go AGAIN!
