I simply love this bar!
I use it while I'm the shower, I let the water run next to me and I rub the King of skin on my skin. I find that if I rub it all over it is a little too greasy so I basically apply it where my skin needs it the most and then I rub it with my hands onto the other parts of my body. Then I quickly rince (like in and out of the water) and I rub it some more on my body to quickly rinse it out.

Don't dry your skin too hard with the towel as it will go away. Gently pat dry with the towel and you will be left with a smooth skin.

I love it!
Somehow I think the smell is great, it smells likes herbs to me, I love that! It's not an overpowering smell so when you add your regular perfume, it doesn't ruin it!

I've been using this ever since I started having issues with celulitis and very sensitive skin on my legs. My legs are constantly red and sore but I find this product to be a great help and keeping them moisturized and more comfortable. I tend to put it on directly in the shower and let some of it rinse off a bit just before I get out otherwise I find it to be a bit too greasy.

I was getting very chapped skin on my legs during the winter months in Canada and decided that I needed to get a good moisturizer. I was in the Montreal Lush store one day and the salesperson guided me towards King of Skin. I usually put it on right after the shower when I have not toweled off and it absorbs beautifully into the skin. It works best when you are dripping wet as it tends to lock the moisture into your skin. If you are bone dry it drags onto your skin. It also lasts quite a long time. I love the smell but if you are not keen on scents this might not be for you. Loved it and bought one for every member of my family to use during the winter months.

I decided to buy this product since I don't have much time to moisturize after showering. This product is way better than any other lotion I've used. I use it when I turn off shower then hop out and dry off. The only problem I found is that it runs out within 3-4 weeks (showering everyday). The results I get are amazing and the smell is light too :)

I love the moisture this provides but the smell gives me a head ache so I just can't use it. Many places that I go for work are also "fragrance free". Would it be possible to make a fragrance free version of this product? I am sure there would be a market for such a product....starting with me!!!

I just love this product. I normally use buffy but desided that I wanted to try something different which was a wise decision. I love using this in the shower after I wash my skin because then I don't have to put on cream afterwares, which saves time. This product leaves my skin smooth and smelling great. I would recommend this product for people with dry skin.

When I use this product, I prefer to cut it into three of four slices because this bar melts really quick . That way you don't waste your whole product all in one go. It smells lovely and really does moisturize quite effectively. ♡

This smells Amazing. I never would have thought that banana's and lavender would go well, I was wrong. I just got out of the shower and I thought I would write a review while I use my Brazened Honey face mask. It's still absorbing and it's starting to turn soft and powdery. The first thing I notice is how darn soft my elbows are!
I read a lot of reviews before I used this item and learned that you get the best results if you don't use it under running water. So, what I did was turn the shower off and apply this to wet skin and then turned the shower on to a lower setting to do a light rinse before I patted myself dry.
However, I am certain that I used way too much in some spots. Which is a good thing to notice because it did seem to disappear fast than I had hoped.
All in all, I will definitely buy this again.

I like to use this product especially on my arms as it doesn't leave a greasy residue like most moisturizers. also really good on your legs when you are wearing a pare of skinny jeans as I find regular moisturizers make them harder to put on.

I used this for the first time yesterday after shaving my lower legs. I bought it hoping it would stop the razer burn & dry scaley-looking skin I get after shaving. This did EXACTLY what I wanted it to! Nothing else has worked like this! I haven't used lotion since I shaved yesterday morning & my skin is still perfectly supple.

I have had dry skin patches on my legs for over five years. Nothing I tried worked, prescription, over the counter. The most I could hope for was the redness would go away. Everything and anything I put on the dry patches burned!

This past year the dryness became so bad I couldn't wear pants, and any kind of breeze or touch would cause incredible pain. I was on the list to see a Dermatologist when I picked up one of these bars on a whim a few weeks before Christmas.

It was amazing. Within 24 hours, I noticed a difference, after 48 hours the pain was gone and in a week there was no indication that there had been any dry patches on my legs other than the skin was really shiny in those areas.

A month later when I went to the Dermatologist, the patch was completely gone, with no inflammation, shiny skin. It's been two months and my skin is really healthy, soft, silky, and best of all, I'm pain free!

My skin's been pretty irritated the last few months, so I thought I'd try one of the body butters. King of Skin looked like the richest one, so I picked one up on a whim. I have to say, I was very impressed with how well this product worked to relieve the itchiness of my skin! It smells just like Dream Cream, and works just as well. Combine the two, and it's the best thing I've ever tried for sensitive skin! Amazing job Lush!

I used this at the end of my shower and it only lasted 6 days. It also made my eczema flair up horribly. When you have used it for about 4 hours after you feel like you have oil on your skin which i really do not like. The only good thing about it is the smell. I will probably try out a different body butter but this one gets a thumbs down from me.

I bought this as part of a few other things I picked up at Lush for my first time ever. I have eczema so my skin gets really dry, itchy and red and is easily irritated so I try to look for creams and soaps that are gentle on my skin. I really think that this product was great as it did not irritate my skin at all even when my eczema was flaring up and helped calm my skin. It didn't go on as smoothly in the shower but once it got going it felt very moisturizing. It was a tad bit greasy but once it dried it absorbed pretty well. However, when it did dry it didn't moisturize my skin as well as I would like it too so I still needed to put lotion on afterwards. I also wasn't crazy about the smell but I don't really care because I know that the natural ingredients are good for my sensitive skin. It ran out kind of fast but I will be purchasing this again just for how gentle it was on my skin.

This is probably my new favorite Lush product!

I used this AFTER my bath and woah did it ever make my skin soft. My legs havent felt this smooth since I was a little girl and the smell! Oh the smell is a dream.

Amazing product although it doesss take a while to absorb into your skin but the wait is well worth it !

This is a new product to me that I started testing out. I have had a body butter before for my feet and ended up chopping it into squares and using it as a bath melt - this one however I am going to be purchasing regularly for a long time to come. It smells great and is just what my skin ordered to help revive itself after a very drying winter.

I was skeptical at first, but was pleasantly suprised! This is super moisturizing and has a nice fresh herbal scent. It does make the shower floor a bit slippery though so I've had to warn other household members. The only con is that I find the bar is shrinking too fast. I've only used it a handful of times and it's already half its size.

AMAZING! I have never had such soft skin right out of the shower! Smells amazing and leaves me so soft. I find that the best way to use this it to get your body wet and try to keep the body butter out of contact with any hot water.



I made the mistake of dipping the whole bar over my skin in a hot bath and I ended up using half of the bar that first time I used it. But now I keep the bar out of the water and the second half of the bar has lasted me! Most definitely worth the money!

wow! this was one of my first lush purchases, and this honestly got me hooked!! i was a little worried about how long it would last, usage-wise, but ive used it on my whole body about 10 times (after about 6 showers) and its only half used up! thats great for the price. the smell is nice and light, kinda powdery. I wasnt too worried about it being greasy, because i have really dry itchy skin, but this soaked in so fast!! into like a powdery finish! yay!! I am a loyal follower of this king forever!

I've never written a product review, but in this instance it was a must. I have had psoriasis for my entire adult life,and it's always worse in the winter. This bar glides on, feels fantastic, has a lovely light fragrance and actually keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day, which is half the battle in psoriasis. As I have to use topical medications for my psoriasis, I generally don't like to add much product to my skin if I can help it, and using this body butter in the shower is the answer to that problem. It has really helped my skin look and feel so much better. My skin feels gorgeously soft and looks better every day...will be surprised if I'm not in remission soon. It's become a necessity in my daily skin care regimen!!
