I went into the downtown store in the Eaton's Center to do my yearly Lush re-stock which usually runs me over $200.00 (I know--SO expensive)
I was grabbing a million Karma Bubble Bombs when this girl told me--not only do they have a lotion but they have a perfume.Oh-My-God. I was so elated. I said give it to me right now I want to smell like this until I die! lol
The lotion upon smelling it wasn't as strong as the perfume or bath bomb. The lotion smelt more like, a shea butter--some sort of cream with a hint of something that...could be Karma??
I asked the girl what was the most concentrated form and he suggested the liquid perfume. Which is true. It is super concentrated (Which I LOVE)and on that note use the bottle sparingly. It was costly--however you need like one or two sprits--a little does go a long way. AND to boot it has great, 'staying power' meaning I sprayed it on and 12 hours later after the hustle and bustle in the city and being everywhere in this rainy, crummy weather--I still smelled good!! I don't need to re-apply although I still do walk with it in my purse (mostly to show people what I am wearing). Never say, never right? You could most likely use this in the morning and not walk with it to re-apply half way through the day. It will stay with you through out the day. :D

The only downside ever to Karma is that it has a semi-musky smell which makes me think, "Mature Woman of 40" --which I am not. Or makes me think of Brut cologne. However the citrus, warm, orange smell makes me come back for more and over look or over smell the musky-ness.

This lovely perfume is so refreshing. One thing I did notice that it definitely depends on the person though. My twin sister and I both sprayed the fragrance on our wrists.. on her it smelt rancid. She had to wash it off right away, but on me it smells really sweet and the orange notes really come out.
It is a little bit overpowering, one spritz is enough to last the day.

I totally recommend this scent, it's uplifting, happy and memorable.
Try it on first though, just to make sure the essential oils compliment your skin chemistry.

I'm not a fan of perfume in general but when Lush launched the Karma perfume many moons ago, I smelled it and fell in love. I have been wearing Karama daily ever since and I'm constantly being told how great I smell... by friends, co-workers, strangers in elevators... I've even caught randoms sniffing me on occasion.
For those who say patchouli stinks, I say that they clearly haven't smelled Karma. It's delicious in every way. I also use the Karma lotion, which is great, but nothing compares to the perfume.

Not sure whether to go with the liquid or solid? My money's on the liquid - the solid is good, but doesn't smell quite the same as the liquid to me.

The only negative thing I can possibly say about the liquid perfume is regarding the new black bottles. Not only do they tend to leak, but the black paint on the bottles sometimes comes off which is a bit messy and unpleasant. But buy it anyway!

Oh Karma... You have been in my life for so long, and you're still the only perfume I am willing to wear. If you haven't introduced your nose to Karma yet, and you are bored with most redundant-smelling perfumes, this may be yout match. Upon spraying it, you get a beautiful wiff of the high notes which includes pine, a trace of lavender and a zesty citrus, all held together by a lovely patchouli fragrance, which lingers all day. As a girl who would roll in incense to smell good, this is pretty much high-end liquid incense to me. It's spicy. It's fresh. Most importantly, it stands out. I receive compliments on a daily basis about my perfume. A bonus is the fact that you only need a drop to last the day. It's strong in a mighty good way. It smells like the 60s to me, and I'm a huge fan of those groovy days. Here's to decades more of Karma. Lush... never take Karma away from me, because your Karma is flawless. ;)

I am a perfume junkie and this is one of the all-time best. I bought it for my mom as well and she gets compliments when she wears it. I layer the solid and the spray because I like a stronger, lasting scent. It starts off with oranges but by the end of the day it's just straight patchouli, on me at least.
I LOVE Karma in any form...so good!

Karma love! I'm a big Karma fan so I had to buy this. For some reason I think the solid version smells more like oranges and the liquid one more like patchouli. It's a great fragrance anyways! I love how it's become my signature perfume: when I wear it, people around me always compliment me and tell me I smell really good. I'm the girl who's bringing patchouli back!

I loved Karma solid perfume in the little tins. It's okay in these black tubes, but it's very hard to push up the perfume stick in these tubes without pushing up too much.



The solid perfume itself feels mushier, which is a bit unpleasant, but it smells great and lasts.



But, and this is a huge problem: the solid perfume stains my skin. Seriously. A great orange blot stays there all day. I've even tried rubbing it in, but no, the blot stays. The same thing happens in dark pink with Lust. It's a real disappointment. Are the dyes really necessary?

I use the solid, dab it on my wrists and collarbone, and every time I lean my head on my hand, I get a hint of the subtle fragrance that calms me, and makes me go "yummmmmm" I don't, however, tell people what it is when they ask, I'm a little selfish in wanting to be unique. The only thing that kind of bugs me is having to push the solid up the tube, but I totally get that it minimizes packaging.

I love the new solid form in the push tube. However, I don't love the coloring that you've added since changing the packaging. I end up having orange marks on my clothes and on my skin. It's not enough to deter me from using it cause I love the product that much because it's so easy to take with me traveling or to throw in my purse. If it didn't leave a mark though it would be the perfect product.

Well, after having ran out of Karma a month ago, I had to wait to the new Gorilla release to order... I received my item today... Same great Karma fragrance, but the bottle is a lot smaller than I anticipated. Also, it seems to be a very dainty seal since every time I open it, it leaks. So it's a leaky bottle (still glass too... I wish they would've used something like recycled plastic to avoid breakage... I've lost entire bottles of Karma in the past by dropping my purse) I also would like them to make the pump removable, so that the 9ml version can be refilled from it for traveling purposes. The 9ml bottle has a much better (and removable) pump. Anyhow, all that to say, it smells the same (amazing in every way), but the bottle has to be changed.
