I am an airline employee and travel a lot, so I like to have products that are carry-on friendly (no liquids). LUSH's shampoo bars are excellent for the world traveler, gym nut or camper. Lasts forever and is such a bargain!

Karma is one of my favourite scents so of course this was an easy buy for me. At the time, I had super short hair that I used lots of product in, and this does a great job of stripping all the goop out and leaving your hair squeaky clean and smelling amazing!

Unfortunately, since my hair is now mid-back, it isn't suitable as the super suds cause massive tangles and leaves my hair straw-like.

I would say this particular bar is better suited to those who use lots of product, have oily scalps or short hair.

Even after reading the reviews I was skeptical. But I am glad I took a chance on the Karma Komba shampoo bar. It's AMAZING! My hair is so clean! I love not having any product left in my hair after washing my hair. Literally squeaky clean! Lathers really well too!
I love the smell & don't find it too strong at all. My bathroom smells every time I walk in because of it!
I can't say enough good things about this product.
The only negative for me was that it doesn't untangle but my hair has always been very tangle prone so not a big negative in the least!

I can't wait to try more products now! This has turned me into a HUGE Lush fan! :)

Oh, how I love the scent! That famous LUSH Karma scent! It matches with all the other LUSH Karma products. It's great for my short, thinning hair. I hardly have to use any at all each shampoo, so it lasts me forever. Great lather, smells wonderful and it keeps my hair fresh and clean for days!

This was my first shampoo in general from LUSH. I had been eyeing them up for months and finally ordered it online along with a tin for it.
No regrets!

It smells fantastic. In my opinion, it smells more manly which is fine with me.
The smell isn't overwhelming which is nice. My family has commented they can smell it when they're hugging me or very close but that's it.

I just rub it between my hands and it lathers pretty good. I do have very thick hair, so I usually have to do this twice just because I have to get the bottom of my hair extremely well.

Definitely worth trying!

You use this product for rubbing your hands together then using what's on your hands to put into your hair. Or you can use the wet shampoo bar and run it itself right into your hair. I love that its made in Canada so I know where it was made was a clean place and the person(s) that made it got paid at lest min wage. So I like knowing that. I love the smell of this shampoo bar very fresh but not to over powerful. I love that its very neutral in like all the store made ones out three. This is very good and will last a long time! Great for travel! The only this I did not like was the size to be is a bit small for how much you a paying. But everything else I love about this solid shampoo!

This solid shampoo was so much better than I thought! It was the first solid shampoo I bought, so I was a little skeptical, but very curious so I went for it.
It smells amazing, I already knew that I love the karma scent, but it is also so great for my super fine hair! My hair is quite long now and it gets tangled very easily, but karma really helped out, more than I thought a shampoo could.

The only downside generally comes with solid shampoos- it's kind of messy, it's not in a bottle etc, and this one especially has bits of stuff in it, but that doesn't bother me because it just rinses out.

If you're on the fence: go for it, it's not a big investment and I think you'll like it.

I live in a hot, humid place with lost of salty ocean water and sweaty days. So I have to wash my hair often. My thick, often dry wavy hair gets smooth, shiny, and clean! With very little shampoo needed. I love it! Easy to transport. And it smells stong!

I received the Karma Komba as free gift at a recent LUSH grand opening. I'd never tried it before and was assured by the staff that it was "a best seller". Well I can see why. I don't think my hair has ever been so clean!

I use various products on my fine, poker straight hair to give it a bit of lift (mousse, hairspray, etc.) as well as colour to cover the greys. Unfortunately, the products tend to build up and weigh my hair down as the week goes on. Karma Komba lifts the build up with ease and leaves my hair feeling super squeaky clean. I've been using it weekly as a clarifying shampoo and it's terrific. And it doesn't appear to fade my colour either.

I like the scent, although it is a bit... persistent. I can see how some might it a bit strong. That's the only bad thing I can say, so get sudsing! :)

I bought this online after reading rave reviews about it.

I have extremely fine and straight hair, and it did a fantastic job of making it squeaky clean (so much so that my 2nd day hair isn't that bad!), and smooth, smooth, smooth.

The only downside is the smell. I'm finally getting used to it, but I don't love it. I find it smells too "hippy-ish" for me (I'm more of a vanilla-scented kind of girl). But it does such a good job on my hair that I will continue to use it.

I JUST LOVE THIS SHAMPOO BAR! my absolue favorite! smells good, lather well, cleans well, last long. reconmend to all people who have damaged hair and oily sculp. it helps detangled also. love it!

This is a great shampoo. I have very fine, thick hair (meaning: itty bitty hairs, but LOTS of them!) and when they get together...they get pretty knott-y. ;)
This shampoo breaks up the hanky-panky and makes my hair smooth and manageable!

Other awesome qualities: the smell is divine and it is the perfect little travel/camping/gym companion! We're going to be friends forever. :)

I initially bought this because I love the Karma scent. While it does lather beautifully, and smells amazing, it does leave your hair squeaky clean, as in it made my hair actually squeak. My favourite use for this now is when my hair really needs to be washed.

I loved the subtle smell of Karma that lingers after you shampoo with this. However it is a bit drying (for my hair) and I have 'normal' hair - I need to follow up with a conditioner to eliminate static. It cleans really well. Use it if you shampoo every other day

My 16 year old daughter bought the Karma Komba bar when she was out shopping with her older sister. Just the smell of her hair when she would sit beside me was Amazing. I started using hers when she was wasn't looking and was Thrilled with the way my hair felt, looked and smelled. I just bought a selection of shampoo bars for the three of us to Share, because I LOVED the Karma so much.

Karma Komba lathers amazingly, and it smells great! I am now a solid shampoo user for life. However, I wouldn't use it everyday, as it is a little -too- effective at cleaning. Try using it every other wash, perhaps?

Before karma i had hair that couldn't go more than about 20 hours without looking greasy and matted. I tried all kinds of shampoo and conditioner combos without success. They either dried my hair but made the knots worse or fixed the knots and made my hair a grease slick. Karma however dries my hair's natural oils enough to keep it clean and healthy looking for at least 2 days! Just be careful not to use too much and risk drying your scalp causing dandruff but I definitely recommend this. If you still have some knot problems, as I did after a month of using the product, i strongly recommend a dose of Veganese conditioner. It helps karma detangle without re-adding oils to your hair. My hair which used to take half an hour to comb and detangle every morning now takes me 5-10 minutes to brush. It looks feels and smells great!! I do not recommend this if you have naturally dry frizzy hair or bad dandruff since this product is not meant for you.

I usually just put a little on every day in the shower and it foams all through my hair! i switched from BIG and i feel KARMA doesn't dry my hair out as much. It smells amazing paired with JUNGLE and my hair has never felt healthier!

This product is great . The smell is amazing and the way it leaves your hair feeling is even better. The only bad thing i have to say is that the odd little flower in the shampoo bar is always getting in my hair!

I had NO idea what was up with bar shampoos, but I've always been interested in them, as they're affordable, compact, and come without all the packaging that always has to be thrown away or recycled with shampoos and other hair products. (Hey, even recycling uses up energy!!)

I've always been crazy for Karma perfume (I've been wearing it for almost ten years!) and thought I'd give the Karma shampoo bar a go, since I'd heard through the grapevine that the scent lingers AND it's good for oily/greasy hair , which I tend to have. To my surprise, it starts to lather up as soon as you get it wet and it DEFINITELY works! It smells lovely, and rinses out easily. It also seems not to perceptibly shrink when I use it too, so it's definitely going to last me some time.
