I had this conditioner two years ago and when I was done with it, I didn't buy it again and tried other ones (Retread and Happy joy) but when I was done with happy joy, i remembered jungle. decided to get it again... oh man! it is HEAVENLY! I have thick curly dry hair and this makes my hair smell OH SO GOOD for so many hours and makes it so soft and shiny. I don't recognize my hair! I will never go to another conditioner :)

I wash my hair every other day, to every other 2 days. The Jungle sold conditioner is so amazing. I have super thick hair and go through conditioner like crazy. With Jungle, I use waaaay less product (so my hair does not get as greasy as fast), and it always smells AMAZING, even 2 days later. I am super addicted to the smell, and have received tons of compliments! My hair feels super soft and healthy. The only thing is that I wished with was a little easier to lather into my hair. The first time I used it, I couldn't tell if I had any in my hair or not. But once I got the hang of it, I was in heaven. Awesome product!

I bought this over Christmas and used it last night for the first time. Super easy to use, the smell is incredible(Personally, that is LUSH"S saving grace at times). It goes on light so don't be tempted to use too much. My hair is fine and wavy, but I flat iron it a few times a week. I love the coconut solid shampoo, it in itself is very moisterizing and the Jungle bar is a great conditioner to use with. I'm very pleased with the results. My hair is super soft a day later, even with freezing temps and dry air. I didn't have to use R&B which I normally will on really cold days.
My only wish is that LUSH would stop with the chemicals. I'm grateful for the transparencey of the company. But petro chemicals are not something I can support. Sadly that is what will keep me from purchasing this again, despite the love of the scent and the results:( Otherwise great product.

If you're looking for a conditioner to make your hair smell gorgeous all day long, then this is the one for you! It also leaves my hair soft and shiny, and that is something I find very difficult with my hair. The only problem I have with this conditioner is that it doesn't lather very well, and for that reason, I can't tell if it detangles well or not.

I was really, REALLY skeptical of using a solid conditioner. I'm the type of girl who can't ever skip conditioner, and when I use it I slather it on. My hair is dry, long and partly wavy, I have very fine hair but I have A LOT of it - the kind that's just hard to control and tangles very easily. After only one use, Jungle has made a huge difference in my hair! I have never had soft hair in my life, until now. The product is super easy to use, I just rubbed it in my hands to moisten it and then ran it down my hair. As other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn't really "feel" like the product is going on your hair, but as soon as you start to rinse it out you'll notice. I was able to pull my fingers through my wet hair with no problem, and when my hair dried it was soft and my natural waves were enhanced and smooth.
I like the smell; my husband says it smells like a health food store but he likes it to. I love how earthy it is, and it makes me feel good buying from Lush. Extra bonus, it's GREAT for travel.

at first i really liked this product, it's very light, smells great and makes my hair really soft. But recently I found my sculp itchy and flaky right after using Jungle, and it's making me upset because that means I have to wash my hair again right after I just blowed it dry! I wonder if anyone else there has the same problem.

Jungle is one of those products that looks a little intimidating on the shelf, because it is a solid and it doesn't contain any silicone, which means it isn't going to have that 'silky' feeling that commercial conditioner gives you when you're rinsing it out. I thought it was drying my hair out, because it didn't feel smooth when it was wet, but after my hair dried I noticed a considerable increase in the silkiness and the strength of my hair.

I find as the days go by, with continual use, my hair is only getting softer and softer. If you have unmanageably thick and wavy hair like mine, this product might throw you a curve ball in the beginning, too, but it's well worth the purchase!

I think this would work with my hair when it was shorter, but it just doesn't seem to be strong enough now that my hair is much longer.

BUT I heard someone in the lush store say they used it as shaving cream, so I tried it and it is amazing!!! Best shaving cream I have ever used! You might feel like it will clog your razor, but just be sure to rinse it with hot water, and the residual cream will wash away for the next swipe.

The smell of this conditioner always brings back the first time I entered a Lush store.. and reminds me why I always go back. The smell of jungle is a little different, but it makes your hair (and the bathroom after you use it) smell fantastic. Everyone always says that you can't feel it when you apply it to your hair, and I have to agree.. you tend to use more than you have to, because you don't realize that you've used enough. I have probably had the bar I've been using for three months, and just purchased another - it definitely lasts and lasts and lasts.

I picked up Jungle because the idea of a solid conditioner really intrigued me, and the price was right. Let me tell you right now, it is totally worth it. I love Jungle! I love how thick it is and how well it works. I especially love the scent! If it was a perfume, I'd wear it.

I almost hated Jungle because it is very different from using liquid conditioners, but once you figure out how to use it so that it works for you, it works brilliantly. I have really thick, dry, curly hair and it makes it shiny and soft and deliciously scented. I use it with the Godiva shampoo bar, and my hair feels and looks fantastic. I don't think I'll ever use another conditioner again. I wouldn't recommend it for someone with thin or fine hair however, because it is a really thick conditioner and can weigh down your hair if you use too much of it.

When I first got this i thought it would be good. The lush person at the store who helped me said it was a good product and that it lathers well and also that it has an amazing passion fruit banana smell,but to me it smelled like sort of like moldy fruit and sandalwood.

Not a pleasing smell at all.
Also it never lather very well and made my hair greasy and didnt detangle it. I have very thick curly oily blonde hair and it made my hair look and smell gross.

This is one of the first Lush products I fell in love with and I haven't been without it since. The smell alone would keep me coming back, but it also happens to be great for my hair.
I find the easiest way to use this is to let it soak in a bowl of warm water while I shampoo my hair etc. then when it's nice and soft, run it down the length of my hair. When it's soft I find it easier to lather the bar between my hands to get more product.
I have also used this as a 'finishing cream' on dry hair to moisturize my ends, and it worked really well!
Lastly, I occasionally rub the wet bar on my skin to use as an in shower moisturizer - my skin is soft and smells amazing :)

I have fine, straight hair and this conditioner was amazing! After not really liking the American Cream conditioner, I decided to give this a try.

It was a little different to use than what I was used to, and I was worried that it wasn't working or I wasn't doing it right. I coated my ends and let it sit while I washed my face, etc, and then put a little on the upper part of my hair and rinsed it all out.

My hair is silky, shiny, manageable (both while wet and dry!) and it smells really good! It helps mask the smell of the Karma solid shampoo (that I dislike so much), which is a good thing!

This bar needs to much work to apply. I have fine hair and it takes me forever to get enough product either by rubbing it on my hair directly or breaking a piece in my hands first. It does make my hair feel nice and leaves my hair nice and light. I didn't find the smell that bad, kinda coconutty. It's supposed to be environmentally friendly but since it requires so much time in the shower just to get enough product in your hair that it just ends up wasting lots of water. Lush please make it easier to apply like your shampoo bars! I would actually buy it again if you improved that part.

I had used this product several times before realizing that it just did not suit my hair. I love the idea of a solid conditioner, but for thick hair, Jungle just doesn't cut it. I would reccomend this product to someone with very fine hair, or guys who don't need deep conditioning.

After years of using super expensive conditioners in an attempt to tame my unruly mass of hair, I decided to give solid conditioner a try. The first time I used it, I didn't think it worked as it didn't have that slimy texture that I was used to. However, once my hair was towel dried and combed out, I was pleasantly surprised with just how soft my hair felt. I usually run it over my hair a couple of times and leave it in while washing the rest of my body so it has a bit of time to set in. I'm officially a convert and will never go back to bottled conditioners.

If you had a fairy godmother and asked her to make your hair shiny and soft and wonderful, I don't think she could manage better than what you get with Jungle. W-O-W. Easy to use (I swipe it two or three times lenght-wise, rince it, let my hair dry, and tadaa. Magic done!) and incredibly effective, package free, awesome!
The only thing the fairy godmother would change, hopefully, is the smell. My boyfriend was kind enought to describe it as unusual. I would say it smells like rotten grass, dirt and old sunscreen.I don't want anyone to come close to my head after I use jungle because of the smell.
Please, please, please Lush, make another solid conditionner with a different smell. That one is painful.

I tried to love this, I love all my other lush products. This one didn't do it for me. It doesn't give any indication that it's actually being applied to your hair, no texture, no lather... nothing. I have long, thick hair and I had to rub it ALL over my hair to get any results because it doesn't move like the shampoo bars... and the smell gives me a headache!
