I'm not sure what it smells or tastes like but it is neither cinnamon nor apple and I'm not a fan of whatever it is. The tin can be difficult to open, the product needs to be warmed before you're able to apply it unless it's a warm day, and the balm has a granular texture. It does, however, have a very nice pigment. It's definitely more of a deep rose pink than a crimson red though, even when layered at it's max it's undoubtedly pink. I think more than anything I wish it came in a more convenient container. It always gets under my long nails and can be messy to apply.

It definently tastes like apple (which is a good thing if you like apples, but I don't), and the colour is way too dark, even for a night out.

Great color that isn't too over powering like lip stick. I accidentally left this in the pocket of my jeans when doing the wash and it didn't stain any of my clothes. I've done this plenty of times with other lip balm and chaps, with dire consequences. Thank you Lush for your wonderfully natural lip tint!

I love this product so much and most of all cause it isin't bad for you like most products u buy at the pharmacy for makeup etc
perfect for a date, just a normal day where you want to wear red lips :P this product is really a life saver compared to all other makeups out there lush saves lives when it comes to lips,
the only thing i say is it gets really dry, i dont know if its because i had it for like since september and now its march i wanted to make a test maybe humidity helps it or a cool place. but this product is a must have :D

I was a little skeptical while purchasing this product due to mix reviews here..but this lip taint is AMAZING!
It feels so natural on the lips and that is exactly what I was looking for as a daily wear. I have started hating lipsticks recently because they look so made up.

Couple of cons though, do not like the taste/smell (I actually have to embrace myself before applying it each time :)) but nothing I cannot live with and yes alhtough it moisturizes a little I am just used to more glossy lips so have to use clear gloss on top. That why I rated it 4

But LOVE LOVE LOVE the colour! Go LUSH!

I've never used this as a blush because I'm too busy using it on my lips. It's delicious and a gorgeous, subtle pinky red colour.

at first i couldn't get any colour from this! i ordered it online and it's currently canadian winter so i let it sit out a bit to warm up to room temperature, it works perfectly now :P

After reading all these reviews about it being really red I expected this to be more pigmented then that it was ....so that was a bit disappointing. That being said though, the shade is still really pretty and looks natural . It's also easy to layer strongly or lightly to get diff shades of it which is really awesome because it can suit anybody. it looks super pretty with "Latte" layered lightly over it...

I LOVE that they fill the tin to the rim with product!!! it smells of cinnamon more then anything but not to the point where it's unpleasant. The tin is a bit hard to open which gets really annoying and the texture is a tiny bit grainy when you swipe it but those are my only real complaints with this. A major rant about lush lip tints is that they settle into the cracks/lines of your lips but if you use a chapstick before or lip gloss after then it pretty much fixes that

Love this stuff. It has a nice subtle colour and smells so good. I usually add a little glossy lip balm on top though because it's quite matte... but using for blush, I prefer it that way. Most reds make me look like a clown, but this one looks great!

I like that this balm tastes exactly like Lip Squeak which is now discontinued :( I also like the colour, but I can't put it on my lips 'as is' or I look like a little girl who put on mommy's lipstick. I like to just put a dab on the middle of my top and bottom lip, and then apply clear lip gloss over top - then it looks good. I feel the consistency is just too matte to use on it's own. Sometimes I use it to add a flush of natural colour to my cheeks, but I find it doesn't blend that easily because the texture is so matte. All in all, I like it, but I don't love it, and with so many options for natural lip tints and balms on the market, I likely won't purcahse this again. (even though it tastes like lip squeak)

I like to use this every once in a while but I think I will use it more often! At first I was a bit shocked at the vibrant red color but as it settled on my lips it softened to a nice, soft shade and I really love the spicy apple scent!!!

Only think is that it can be a tad bit drying so I use Honey Trap with it and it makes it smell like honey and apples!! YUMMY!

I was very disappointed with the texture of this product. It's way too waxy, and difficult to apply. It applies on very dry and does not moisturize lips at all. Overall, very disappointing buy.

ISWAK smells amazing. Exactly like Fizzbanger, which is one of my favorite bath bombs! it doesn't give as much colour as a lipstick, but it gives a nice splash of colour. I like this because I tend to look a bit ridiculous with BRIGHT red lipstick, and it's hard to manage and apply. This is simple, and it's a bit more natural than a full on lipstick. It feels nice, and goes on pretty evenly. My only real complaint is that it's kind of messy to apply, but other than that WOW-EE I'm in love!

I love this product. I take my pinky nail, and lightly scrape the surface and paste the colour in the center of my bottom lip before spreading it around. My boyfriend likes it too ;)

I'll start by saying that I'm a girl who just doesn't wear makeup. Ever. I took one whiff of It Started With a Kiss, and despite the bright red colour I knew I had to have it.

Fast-forward to about three days later, and a good five people had called me over just to tell me they loved the colour on me! The red is more delicate, not too dark or lipsticky, which I'm really happy about.



This baby smells like Christmas. It really, really does--and it's also one of the most sophisticated, complicated smells I've ever caught wind of from LUSH. The white chocolate and apple and cinnamon all blend together in layers, and trust me, you smell it all day. It stays on for hours and hours, both smell and colour.



Yes, the texture is a little weird, and it's definitely recommended to use a lipscrub or something before applying, but I think with just a little work, this lip tint could be the makings of something absolutely beautiful.

I always have a lot of trouble finding lip colors because I have very fair, sensitive skin and most colors just bring out my skin's tendency to usually be quite pinky red but this tint actually plays to my complexion's strengths! You do have to get used to only using a small amount (which also means the tin will last you forever!) as the texture is different but once it's on it doesn't look cakey or look like you put on any color even though it is so red...it just looks like your lips have just been kissed!

I received this as a stocking stuffer and was really shocked by the colour in the tin, but thought I'd give it a try. The first application was ridiculous because I'd obviously used way too much colour on my lips and it felt pretty grainy. I tried again though, and dotted it lightly overtop a layer of lipbalm - this made a world of difference. The lipbalm removed the grainy texture, and the colour was really beautiful and subtle for daytime wear or for contrast with darker eye makeup. It's actually become my everyday lip product, but it took a little practice.

The scent was pretty appealing to me too, even though I typically steer clear of sweet-smelling products. This has an apple/cherry scent to it that I've come to like quite a bit.

I love to use the colour everyone in a while because it isn't too pink or too red for certain occasions.



I love the colour, the time that it lasts both in the container and on my lips, the smell is amazing and I love the cute name: it makes me think of someone just getting a little rosy in the cheeks.



I dislike the chalky feel of it (I wish it had more of an Ultrabalm consistency/feel) and I think it would be better if it was in a lipstick tube because it stains your finger tip when you put it on and you can' always carry around a lip brush to apply it.

This product was really, really grainy, and when I emailed a sales associate about it, she said that was normal. It feels really gross (kind of like wearing a lip scrub as a lip balm) and the colour isn't very uniform. I could wipe off most of the grainey parts so that its not too gross, but its not the greatest. It's kind of drying, like its a lipstick, not a balm. I think it makes a decent cream blush, though. Lush, maybe you should stick to making skincare products, and leave the cosmetics to other companies.

I bought this product in London, England this summer before it came out in Canada, and knew I had to have it. I am a LUSH fanatic and a lip balm fanatic, and knew I must get it. But I am wondering if it is different here in Canada than across the pond, as the container screws on, rather than pops on, and the bottom isn't that big to hold onto, making it awkward to open. That being said, I like the screw on top as it keeps the air out, but the bottom should be a bit bigger to grip. Also, the texture is a bit chalky, it doesn't melt on as well as the other lip balms, or even the Snow Fairy lip tint, which I love. So maybe I should try one made in Canada, but the idea is good, and it is pretty close to perfect.
