I was very excited to recieve this as a sample in my last LUSH order.
The colour is amazing, totally beautiful, a very crisp clear light blue.
The scent I would describe as masculine but its fresh and clean, like a high end aftershave maybe. And be warned, this is a STRONG scent, I can smell this as soon as I walk into my bathroom. The mint is really refreshing, this might be a nice soap for the sicky warm summer months.
I did find it was harder to lather than some of the other LUSH soaps I have tried but if you made sure both your hands and the bar is really wet then it wasn't a big problem.
I would not classify this soap as drying, but neither would I say it is moisturizing. I used it only as a hand soap and I think it might be too drying in the bath or shower.

This soap has a nice fresh/masculine smell but I find it to be really drying on my skin. Its alright as a hand soap but not in the winter.

I love Ice Blue.. it is by far my favorite Lush soap. I will try out other soaps, one by one.. but Ice Blue will always be a staple and I'll always keep a bar next to my bathroom sink. I love the smell.. lovely and minty.

I actually like this one. I like the smell I only use it on my hands but my hands feel cool after haha. It's not drying and I like the color it's a pretty blue also the smell isn't overwhelming wich I like.

This soap is one of my favourite Lush scents. Unfortunately, the problem I have with it (actually, this seems to be a problem with a lot of the soaps), is that the scent seems to weaken (and sometimes even produces an unpleasant smell) when the soap gets wet. This particular soap is one of the worst for that. Sometimes I can avoid that problem by rubbing a loofah or washcloth onto the soap, but then what's the point of buying soap in the first place? Also, after using the soap a few times, you start to get to the layer of sea salt that's in the soap, and that can be a little harsh if you have sensitive skin. That being said, the peppermint in the soap is excellent for producing a cooling sensation on hot summer days, or clearing out the nostrils when you have a cold. Hence why I've switched to using Dirty shower gel to get the same peppermint effects.

Great manly soap... What I liked about this soap is that it is one of the few good Lush products that suit men better than women. (I'm a girl but I converted my bf). It lathers wells too. The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars is that it is pretty drying. I guess the salt has something to do with it...

i love this stuff!! its a really get you up kinda scent and it lathers really nicely. Sometimes when im out of shave gel ill actually use ice blue as a shave gel, thats how well it lathers!!!!

I first bought a tiny little piece because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I may not like. It turns out I fell in love with this though! It smells amazing! I had to go back and buy a huge brick! It lasts long too which is a definite bonus!

I received a small piece of Ice Blue Soap in my LUSH order, & I'm very surprised that I like it so much! The scent could be unpleasant, but strangely enough, it's very pleasant.

The only downside is that it almost cleans too well. It can leave your skin feeling tight & dry.



Wakes you up, & gets you alert!

Ice Blue is a wonderful soap! It may not produce a great lather like some of the other soaps but it nevertheless leaves your skin squeaky clean. As someone who has relatively sensitive skin, I found that Ice Blue didn't dry my skin at all - though if you're looking for a more moisturizing soap Honey I Washed the Kids might be a better bet.



I think one of this soap's better qualities is that lasts longer compared to soaps like Sexy Peel that just melt faster. When I use it in the shower it feels more like a glycerin-based soap, kind of "filmy" and not very sudsy but it gets the job done and does it well. It's not overpowering in the scent department, but leaves a nice clean scent on your skin that lingers in the bathroom and throughout the day.



For the record, Ice Blue DOES come in two shades: blue and purple. :)

Best soap ever. Not only did it clean really well- it smelled gret and left my skin feeling wonderful after the shower.



I would suggest cutting a large block into thin palm sized block to prevent excessive melting (and waste) in the shower.

When I bought this product in store, I didn't think it had THAT much of a minty smell.

But I was wrong, so wrong. This soap has such a harsh smell of mint and something, almost, stale! Another thing that disappointed me was that where I got it, it wasn't blue - yet a translucent-like purpley/pink! I am an impulse buyer though, so I bought it anyways, but I wish I bought Bohemian or Sexy Peel instead.

I got this soap as a part of a gift. Initially I was skeptical because I don't usually like mint, however, the smell is not overwhelming at at and it does a great job of waking me up in the morning. It was quite moisturizing and after I put on lotion my skin was super soft and the mint smell was gone. It did not lather very well but I didn't find that to be a huge problem.

I got this soap as a free sample from LUSH - it was accidentally labelled something different, but I loved it anyway!! Love the smell, it lathers up nicely and the scent lasted a few hours on me! I am definitely going back for a full bar of this soap!

Received a free sample and was pleasantly surprised. Smells great, lather is fine, cleans wonderfully. Leaves a great scent afterward too. The bar is extremely slippery and I dropped it a million times, which was a bit frustrating, but by no means a dealbreaker; I would purchase this product and learn not to drop it so much ;) I unfortunately used this on sensitive areas and developed a temporary, yet painful rash - I suggest you exercise caution and test before using on sensitive areas.
