I went into my local Lush yesterday to pick up another Buffy bar(which is sooooo worth it!!!) and ended up buying the Honey Trap as well! Lets just say, my lips feel softer and more supple!! I love the light scent and love that it soaks in over time and not right away!!

I was recommended this item from lush when I was looking for a lip balm. At first I wasn't to excited about it because I wasn't the biggest fan of honey. I used it on and off for awhile but wasn't a big fan. Fast forward a few months and I am obsessed with this product. I just started using it again recently and it has made a totally different impression on me then the last time. I love the smell. It is very sweet and comforting. I find myself smelling it when I am walking to work in the icy climate. It also makes my lips feel very smooth and soft. I don't have to worry about chapped lips any more. The product sticks onto your lips even if you eat or drink so I usually only apply it in the morning and before bed.

It was a comedy of errors – none of it Lush's fault – getting this little pot of honey, but it was worth the wait.

A few Christmases ago, Lush released some experimental li balms, none of which seems to habe made it into the permanent collection. They weren't great, as I recall, not by Lush standards, and I fell away from Lush banlms, even my old favourite, Whipstick.

Winter's coming. And while I enjoy a few competitors' lip balms, I figured something bettermight be waiting in a little Lush tin.

Rather than get Whipstick, which is great, I thought I'd risk something new. Honey Trap looked intriguing.

I am really impressed. It needs to be warmed up first, or you can scrape a bit out with the back of your fingernail. That little smidge will do just fine. This is a rich and concentrated balm, exceptionally soothing, and redolent with honey. Good thing it's autumn, or I'd have bees hovering nearby, I'm sure. The balm lasts and lasts, even through coffee.

My only caveat is the honey. It smells quite strongly of honey. The vanilla and peppermint are there, but honey is the dominant note, by far. If you don't like honey, do not get this lip balm.

I bought this lip balm on a whim yesterday. I really liked how it felt on my lips. I applied it last night and went to bed and when I woke up my lips looked really nice and they feel very soft. The lip balm also lasts quite a while. I think this will last me a long time since I don't need to use too much. The only con is that you have to use your finger to apply it and sometimes you have to push hard on the product for it be smooth, but overall it's a good product.

I drink a lot of water, and yet somehow my lips always feel dry - so I make sure I ALWAYS carry lip balm of some sort with me. I have found some that soothe my dry lips, but often they taste horrible.. and lets face it, we don't want to taste like blistex when we kiss someone!

I LOVE the way this lip balm feels on my lips. Right away, you get this amazing cooling feeling... very soothing! It's also got just the right amount of shine to it, not too glossy. Maybe it's just me, but I think it actually makes my lips look fuller!

It makes my lips feel gorgeously soft, even when it's worn off (and it doesn't wear off quickly!).

The only things I don't love: The little tin is somewhat difficult to open, maybe it's just mine.... and the fact that it comes in a tin and you have to apply it with your finger.

Those are two very small cons however, and don't at all diminish how much I love this product!

Honey Trap is the most wonderful lip balm I have ever tried! Not only is the scent sweet and warm, it is a very moisturizing and makes lips soft, smooth and un-chaps them beautifully!

I loved this product ! It tastes amazing. Like honey and vanilla! If you use the bubble gum lip scrub right before you put this product on your lips will tingling sensation and they will be remarkably soft ! Only problem is is hard to get on your lips at first. You need to war up the product. But i carry it around everywhere with me.

I absolutely love this balm! I am a lip balm addict, but petroleum-based products make me break out. Honey Trap moisturizes and soothes my lips, and the best part is that I don't have to reapply often. I do wish there was a tube version, as I don't like to apply things with my fingers where I am somewhere it is difficult to wash my hands before applying.

I love the smell it has, but when I put it on around friends or coworkers there have been a few negative comments about it. This is one you should smell before you buy!

i tried "Honey Trap" for the first time and i LOVED it! It is the best lipbalm i've ever used and i definatly recommend it! It tastes, smells, and feels AMAZING on my lips. It's also very small and light-weight so u can bring it everywhere with you!

I always had the most dry and chapped lips. It was embarrassing. I would drink a ton of water to stay hydrated and it never helped. I went to Lush with my problem and was recommended Honey Trap. It worked like a DREAM. Within a day I noticed a huge difference.

I've used this product for two years now and my lips have never been chapped since, even in the most brutal Canadian winters. I recommend breathing on the balm to soften it up a little before applying. Seriously, try this product! Your lips will thank you!

My lips are EXTREMELY dry and I bought this product along with a lip scrub hoping to cure my dry lips. It didn't work at all. I used up all of the lip balm hoping it would get better with time but it just left my lips dryer. It smelled great though.

I am a chap stick addict and always have some on me. This was the first chap stick I have tried from lush and I highly recommend it. I find that I can go days without using it because it keeps my lips so moisturized. This is really nice considering I used to apply my old chap stick multiple times per day.

Recently I also burned my arm slightly on my hair straightener and applied some of this product to the burn. The burn was instantly soothed and has already healed an amazing amount overnight. The burn is soft and doesnt sting.

I am a lip balm junkie. Living in a harsh Montreal winter, I've tried just about every different kind, from the body shop to kiehls to eos to Lush, and this is by far my favourite. It's natural and healing unlike the petrolatum-based "balms" (which are actually really, really bad for you) and it feels so good on the lips. I use this every night after I do a quick scrub with my Sweet Lips sugar scrub and when I wake up in the morning, my lips are soft, supple, and still moisturized - very impressive. I've just about finished my tin of this balm (after over a year) and I'm going to try Whipstick next!

AMAZING!!!! The only problem was that not enough was being applied one my finger so i had to use it directly on the lip. Otherwise... IT WAS PERFECT I litterally took it everywhere and put it on all the time... it really tastes and smells like honey :) I definitly reccommend buying this product :D

I have been searching for the perfect lip balm for many years. Then one special day I sniffed this at my local LUSH and have never turned back.
This is by far the most effective lip balm I have ever used. It soothes my dry lips which can become oh-so chapped during these Canadian winters. One application in the morning is often all I need for the entire day!

It does however, require a little love before applying. Because it is made with delicious butters, you may have to warm it up a bit before smearing on your lips. The first time I use a new pot I usually dig my finger around and mess up the surface so it is easy to melt the product with my fingertip before applying it. I find keeping it in my jacket pocket instead of my purse/backpack keeps it just warm enough (keeping it in your pants pocket may melt it too much) for easy application.

Pair this little beauty with Sweet Lips Lip Scrub after your morning face wash and you will be set for the day (and set for life)!

There should probably be a warning on this that it contains wheat germ oil, which contains gluten. You might think the amount would be too small to affect someone with CD, but in fact, I've been getting terrible stomach pains for the past couple days. I got the lip balm on Wednesday and started using it Thursday. People with CD ARE that sensitive, and you consume more lip balm than you think.
I'm going to have to stop using this, which is too bad because I really liked how it made my lips feel. Oh well.

I'm always in search of the perfect lip balm, and tried this one with high hopes. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. The texture wasn't smooth at all -- in fact, it was really hard, and I can't imagine it would be particularly soothing on extremely dry or chapped lips. I found I had to use a lot of it to sufficiently cover my lips, and it didn't glide on easily at all. It really felt like my lips were just covered in a waxy film. Moreover, IT DIDN'T WORK! I left a goopey film in the corners of my mouth, and my lips were back to their dry selves after the product wore off.
