I've had problems finding a face cleanser that works for me for a long time. Anything that seemed to clear up my face left it dry and irritable, but not with this! Leaves my skin soft and clean and even cleared up the black heads on/around my nose which was a huge problem for me. Highly recommend this! I use it daily!

I've never written a review before, but because of the amazing results I've gotten from using Herbalism, I feel like I definitely need to share! I have very acne-prone, combination skin, and before trying Herbalism, I tried literally everything, from ProActiv to pretty much every other brand there is. Nothing seemed to really work; either my skin would get flaky and dry when I began to see results, or my skin would feel balanced but my acne would not subside.

I read the reviews and thought I'd give Herbalism a try, I have to say it's one of the best cleansers I've used. It is a bit messy (the small exfoliating bits can get in your hair) but the way it cleanses and hydrates my skin makes it so worth it. Within a week of using herbalism, I saw results; my skin felt softer and smoother. Now that it's been a month, I can definitely say that I've seen a dramatic improvement in my complexion. I still have blemishes, but they are much smaller, my pores seem smaller, and the light blackheads that dotted my nose have disappeared. My skin is less oily, but I did take off a star because I wish that it wouldn't get quite so oily after just a few hours..

Although Herbalism hasn't completely cleared up my acne, it has given me a more radiant, healthy complexion. I plan to combine it with other lush products to hopefully be acne-free once and for all!

I've gone through 3 of this cleanser. When I first saw the description on LUSH I thought "this sounds like exactly what I need." So I gave it a try. I AM SO GLAD that I did!!! This product definetly decongest the oils that clogged up the pores and it does it gently without irrating or drying the skin!! Thus it reduces the break out and oil on my skin and make it so soft and hydrated... The texture could be a little messy and u gotta be careful not to let water get in the container. Otherwise it's a great cleanser for oily/combo skin!

I absolutely love herbalism. It was one of the first products that I had bought at Lush. I love how it doesn't leave your skin feeling tight after you use it. It makes my skin feel refreshed, and I just love it. It can be a bit messy but it's something I can live with because it makes my skin happy.

I bought this product after my forehead broke out in horrible acne. I used this twice per day, once in the morning and once before bed. Within a week, my forehead was noticeably clearer, though not perfect. The rest of my face looks amazing. While I never had acne below my forehead, my skin has never been so soft or glowing. It's now been about 3-4 weeks of using it, and my forehead no longer breaks out, but is still healing. If I hadn't used Herbalism, I probably would have continued to get acne. The only downside of this cleanser is that it's a bit messy and you have to be careful not to get it wet, which is hard for me to do when I use it in the shower.

I have terrible skin... I mean really oily, sensitive, blemish-prone skin. I started using this product about 2 months ago, and noticed immediate results (minimized redness, softer skin, fresh feeling skin), and the results got better every day. I used it morning and night, and some times once when getting home from work also. When I ran out of product for a couple of weeks, my blemishes started appearing about 3-4 days after discontinuing use. I just wish that there was a more convenient store location for me so that I would never be without this amazing cleanser.

I would use this product at night, before going to bed. I was told that this product would clear up my acne, and make my pores appear smaller. They did appear smaller after 3 weeks of using it. But it did not get rid of my zits and acne. Don't get me wrong, I would recommend this product for others! Maybe it's just my skin acting stubborn!

I have combination skin, some oily patches and some dry patches. After using this my skin is so soft and feels so clean. It seems to balance out my combination skin. Love this.

I love this as a cleanser. I have the type of skin that no matter what I used, be it proactive, or every other big brand named product my face would ALWAYS break out, get extremely dry and then felt oily again 5 minutes later. I used this for 2 days and already my skin tone evened out, my breakouts were getting smaller and my skin doesn't get oily what so ever so I dont feel dirty all day long. You also get what you pay for, this stuff will last quite some time as you do not need to use much of this at all. I use a pea size amount and use luke warm water- the warmer the water, the dryer and tight your skin will feel because it strips the natural oil. So use this in proper conjunction with the right water temperature for those who want to avoid dryness or tightness. I use this morning and evening.

All in all this cleanser is perfect and I will definintely be making this a regular part of my life.

Please keep this stuff around, I really don't think it gets better than this guys!

Wow just wow i've been using this product for a month now and i'm speechless twice I felt a pimple coming and it just killed it before it even appeared. My face always feels so clean and it's really less oily than before. I use it with tea tree water toner and my face stays soft all day and not even oily!! I'll buy this cleanser forever!

I have combination skin, problems with adult acne on my forehead, my nose and my cheeks. I've tried a bunch of stuff and that's when Herbalism came in.

After reading reviews, I put Herbalism in a seperate tin. I use it every night before bed. I wet my hands and make sure they are damp (not super wet) when I take a dip of the product. I use a finger tip, then rub it all over my face in circle motion. (If you think the product is too thick and doesnt apply well, you can use it with a more liquid face cleanser too - it worked when I tried it).
Rinse face - skin is so soft it's a super awesome feeling and the face is really clean. I use Eau Roma to calm the red spots on my skin, then apply Enzymion.

I've noticed my acne did reduce with this product. While it did not completely vanish, I think this product did wonders and I also think that I need to do my part (drink more water, exercise and cry!) for a perfect skin.

Once wet, the product smells like tea. I really love it!

Downside: The cost is no 1. It's a cleanser, but dont expect it to remove make-up (that doesn't bother me because I use another make-up remover). You need a moisturizer afterwards because it can dry out some patches of skin. It's messy, so use in the shower!

I am so in love with this cleanser. I have never had a face wash that changed my complexion so dramatically. After using Herbalism, my skin is so smooth, soft, and completely blemish-free. It has NEVER been in such good condition. I swear by Lush skin care because of this product. I will never use anything else.
Along with Herbalism, I use Tea Tree Water toner which also helps with the spots, and a moisturizer I'm finishing up from another company. I can't wait to pick up a Lush moisturizer because I'm already so tickled by how much the cleanser and toner have helped me! Thank you, Lush, for saving my skin!

I found this product years ago, and have had an on and off relationship with it ever since. Only because the nearest lush location is not very conveniently located for me. All other products ruin my skin, and when it gets really bad, i make my trip over to lush for damage control. It feels good to know that what i'm putting on my skin is made of natural ingredients.

I've been using this product for over a month (so you know it's been through my lovely hormonal time as well) and I really like it. I have combination verging on oily skin with mild but persistent acne on my chin. My skin has really cleared up excepting the odd zit every once in a while. My skin feels softer, looks more evenly toned and is not as oily as it used to be. I use it at night with a natural based toner, and the Lush Imperialis moisterizer. You definitely need a good moisterizer with this cleanser to avoid dry or tight skin afterwards. It is awesome!

I bought this product on a recommendation from my aunt who has been a lush customer for a while and I used it for about 3 months with amazing results. It cleared up my hugely acne-prone skin and because I'm 15, that is a great benefit. It is a bit messy, but is easy to clean up and a small mess shouldn't be a reason not to get anything. But because I live somewhere that doesn't have a LUSH store, I had to stop using it for months. I got another set from my aunt and started using it again, but this time I found it didn't work very well. My present acne would go away, but new ones would come up everyday. I don't know if it was something I was doing or something with Herbalism but I moved on to Coalface. Still trying it out. I wouldn't say Herbalism doesn't work because my twin sister uses it too, and it works for her.

I got this product upon recommendation and I am so happy I did. I was using Fresh Farmacy but it was no longer cutting it for me and I wanted to try one of the exfoliating cleansers. This stuff works excellent for my combination skin. Clears up bumps, reduces redness and my skin is ever so soft these days. To finish removing your makeup at night I would recommend using Ultrabland with it. I use Breath of Fresh Air toner and Vanishing Cream and my skin is officially a no hassle zone. Thank you Lush !

I was recommended this product by a Lush employee as a daily cleanser. I generally tend to get small breakouts (especially near period week).
I used this on a daily basis and found it cleaned everything well, however was a little drying. I now use it once or twice a week and find it to be the perfect amount! Every other day I'll either just use warm water or Lush's Ultra Bland face wash. :)
