This smells fabulous on my skin for hours afterward! This is my favourite massage bar. I smell wonderful during my massage and it makes the whole massage experience fabulous. The massage room smells fragrant afterward and my massage therapist gets soft hands that last all day (or longer). Recommended if you LOVE vanilla-sented products. It's the ultimate!

This was the first massage bar i used and i found this didn't absorb fast into my skin, i had a wait a while for it to blend in, but i was expecting it to be sort of like a lotion which i guess it isn't really, for the purpose i wanted i find the body butters to be a better fit. I do like the smell and it is good if you want to have a lot of cocoa butter on your skin, and you have some chores you can do without sitting down.

This bar is my favorite out of all of the bars because the scent is not overwhelming like some of the other bars that Lush has. The scent is absolutely the best! It is a true vanilla mixed with other sweet scents that make it so yummy! I really love this bar! I really hope it stays at Lush! :D

If you don't like vanilla, this is not for you. If you do, you'll not be able to put this down. I recommend to keep this bar in the fridge, otherwise, it'll melt in the summer heat.
It's so rich and soft... you better try it!

I love this scent, and found it very nice on rougher patches like elbows or feet, but wasnt very impressed with how the red decoration wipes off and stains skin and clothing.

I like that it's shaped to fit your hand and it is small enough to get into tight and small spaces! Great for giving legs a subtle sheen in summer! Even as a dry skin mask - after being heated between hands to make an oil!

I am SO SO sad that the powers that be - at Lush - are getting rid of this! I LOVE it!

Is is the greatest massage bar ever. The scent is wonderful, not a fake artifical vanilla, but almost like a earthy scent. Melts on contact, and great after a shower. Never left a very noticeable red streak, just rubs in anyways. Definetly a keeper.

I am OBSESSED with everything vanilla at Lush, so this is just perfect to go with my daily routine. I love it right after a bath or shower, then I top it with Vanilla Puff Powder to absorb some of the moisture.

The smell is exquisite, words can't even describe how much I love it, and since I wear the Vanillary Perfume it goes along with my signature fragrance.

This is a great thing to carry with you all day to just refreshen your fragrance :)

This was the only massage bar in the store with a fragrance I liked (though I got another bar just for the tin lol) -- the scent can be overpowering at times but smells delicious.

The main problem I have with Lush massage bars is that I CAN'T GET THEM TO MELT. I guess my body temperature is too low?? The only way I can get them to leave any trace on my skin is to breathe on it before each swipe. Even then it's still an arduous task not helped by my dry skin.

When my boyfriend picks one up, though, it turns into a puddle of oil in seconds... Guess I can only wait for him to put it on for me.

Despite the name, this bar actually smells less like vanilla and more like jasmine and maybe the tonka, and a little powdery (not a bad thing). If you're using this as a massage bar on your guy, be warned - this is a heady, sweet scent.



I have no complaints about this as a massage bar. It worked into skin nicely, left a pretty aroma, and made skin feel very soft and smooth. If you use it as a massage bar, be prepared to see this used up quickly.



As a moisturizer, it may be my skin, but I find it doesn't absorb very quickly. I don't mind this - in fact, I prefer it, as moisturizers tend to get sucked up into my skin without actually moisturizing. Use a little at time, and it should last you a good while. I've been using a bar on my legs for a few weeks and I still have a lot left.



The red band may stain light clothing/linens, though, so I recommend rubbing it away right away onto skin, and rubbing it in thoroughly. I have fair skin and have never found it to stain skin (it actually gives a nice rosy glow)

If you're like me and don't sweat too much you'll love this massage bar. I use it for my massages (lovely, also), but in the mornings I put a little on my underarms, a touch on my neck and a hint on my wrists and I'm good to go. From 6 in the morning til 6 at night it still smells delicious! I love the compliments I get from it!

I always use this with my boyfriend, and it leaves an amazing feeling. It is very moisturizing. And the scent is what won me over, vanilla is amazing. Its better than any massage oil.

i am a huge fan of the massage bars and have tried almost all of them. This one is my ultimate favorite and shall remain that way for the forseeable future. In one word versitile; it has such a sexy scent, exciting yet comforting, plus it sorts out my very dry skin (even in winter). The best thing is I can use it anytime, in the morning as a cream, afternoon as a revitalizer and in the evening as a perfume when going out. Plus my whole family can use it - even my kids... and that is the ultimate test.

I'm so obsessed with the smell -- it's amazing and really the only reason I use the massage bar. I use this product straight after the shower and layer it with Vanilla Puff Powder to absorb the oil. It smells just like Vanilla Deelite, but lasts longer (though I'm not sure if I'm smelling the massage bar or the powder because they smell the same). It also smells a lot better than American Cream.

I have extremely dry skin and this product is the best. My skin feels so soft and smells so nice.

Works best in the shower as it melts too much in the bath.

I love the scent of this bar. I love the texture and how moisturising it is. But, I'm not impressed with the pink that is left over in my hands and body if the top side is held or used. That said, it wouldn't stop me from using it.

The smell is definately not what I was expecting. I thought it was going to smell like lovely vanilla - kind of like vanilla extract, or vanilla bean. However, it smells nothing like it. I'm not quite sure what it smells like, maybe it's the tonka bean, it makes it smell burnt. But it moisturizes wonderfully and the greasy feel absorbs in quickly after you rub it in.

I would recommend this to a friend only if they liked the scent.
