This shower gel is like an instant caffeine boost! The smell is absolutely fantastic, and is one of my favourite scents. It made a nice amount of lather, and I loved how the smell filled my entire shower while I was washing. I found using this with a loofah (or one of those shower puffs) didn't allow it to reap it's full benefits. I rubbed in the product just with my hands and found much better success.

My New MUST HAVE for those early morning showers!

I use this for my body not my hair... It has a good smell but its not a sweet smell or anything it's very citrus and that's just not me so that's why I will not buy again although it really does wake up up so I wouldint reccomend using it before bed I have nothing really bad to say though

Love the smell of grapefruit, really picks me up in the morning and the honey texture is so moisturizing. Smell doesn't linger on my skin though and is gone as soon as I dry off, I don't know if its because of my loofa or something else?
I'll probably opt for another lush shower gel.

This is an amazingly refreshing and revitalizing shower gel. Seriously, it's such a fresh citrus scent that it really wakes you up. Similar to others, I wouldn't use this as a shampoo but as a shower gel it's a winner! I'll be trying Raining Men next, just to try it but will probably buy Happy Hippy again in the future, oh and I bought a medium sized bottle and it lasted me nearly 5 months! Very impressed C:

The smell of this shower gel is very strong and citrusy, which is what I LOVE about it! It lathers up really well and scrubs you squeeky clean. To be honest, I didn't expect for this product to work in my hair and I ended up being right. But I know that I will definitely be buying this for a long time!

I love citrus smells, and was not disapointed with the scent of my Happy Hippy sample - it has a pungent, clear and crisp citrus scent. As a morning shower pick-me-up it gets a passing grade, but as soap, it falls flat with a lack of lather. I just did not feel as 'clean' as I am accustomed to. If you are someone who likes a lingering scent from their soap, this one does not linger past the rinse.

This is a great shower gel. The smell is awesome and a little goes a long way. I wasn't impressed of the effet it had on my hair though, and the smell doesn't last on your skin at all. Overall, it was a great product.

I use this stuff everytime I have a shower. I absolutely love the smell & I had to have it when I was in the store spending my Christmas gift cards! The smell is so great and it fills up my whole shower when I use it, but the smell doesn't last on me! That's the only thing I wish was different about this product - the smell is so good I wish everyone could smell it on me!

While I absolutely love the smell of Happy Hippy in the shower (it really wakes you up in the morning, no really), I feel it's really not made to be a shampoo (as the bottle says). For people with normal hair HH might work in a pinch but for someone like me who can't wash their hair everyday (when I wash my hair everyday it just starts falling out more often, usually in clumps. it's pretty oily to boot), HH causes your scalp to go into overdrive and make more sebum for your hair. My hair also ended up more chaotic, tangled - kind of like when you just rub soap on your head in place of shampoo (which I realize one is technically doing).As a shower gel however Happy Hippy is the [*]...in the scent department. For someone like me who has sensitive skin I found HH not that moisturizing at all but it does the job alright. HH is probably more suitable for people with normal skin than sensitive types like me. It really does make for an enjoyable shower experience though - but for something equally citrus-y (and more moisturizing to boot) The Olive Branch would probably be a better bet.

I love Chi body wash forever, then when that was cancelled, I went with Happy Hippy. I love it! It's the only bath/Shower product I use. I hope they never stop making this one.

I recently received a small bottle of Happy Hippy in a party bag from Coventry Hills LUSH. I was honestly a bit put off because I keep meaning to get Flying Fox, but can't justify it having three showergels on the go. I did think it was pretty cool though that it was advertised as being safe for hair too, so I gave it a shot.



The consistency is FANTASTIC! Nice and thick like a chemical-laden shower gel, but full of great ingredients that soften my skin and leave it lovely and clean. The lather is perfect for shaving too!



The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the smell- a weird undertone to the grapefruit kind of turned my nose up. However, I just exfoliated over it (I was using it basically for shaving prep) with Rub, Rub, Rub and it was fine.



So in the future I'll probably buy Happy Hippy in small bottles for shaving, and couple it with a large Rub, Rub, Rub.



Fun Hint: This gel goes great with Sandstone! Apply a quarter sized amount to your legs before shaving and lather it with a wet piece of Sandstone. You get all the benefits to your skin of Happy Hippy, and the sand from the soap exfoliates so nicely!

Happy Hippy is a wonderful shower gel to use in the morning. It's fresh citrusy smell is certainly energizing and I love the hint of bergamot. The only complaint I have, is that the citrusy smell does not linger on my skin. For a scent that does last, I recommend bergamot infused Freeze.

Every now and then, I come across a Lush product that I simply love, and I love this shower gel! The second I opened this bottle, the gorgeous, tangy fragrance wafted out, and as the tub was filling, the heady scent of juicy grapefruits filled my whole bathroom. The bubbles were long-lasting and so relaxing, providing a lovely bath-time experience.

Happy Hippy is my favourite shower gel out of Lush's selection, mainly due to it's citrus smell. I use it in the shower. No frills, just Lush at its best.

I love citrus smells (Sexy Peel, Bohemian and Sandstone in particular), but this shower gel just didn't cut it. It's a very soft smell, yet a little too close to "Mr.Clean" for my liking. It wasn't grapefruity enough.
